On time - polite greeting and talked through work plan before starting.
Listened to my concerns and explained the most appropriate way to install city fibre.
Kept me informed as they worked, and made sure tools and everything was safe, and not a trip hazard as I had a young child with me.
Friendly professional, and tidy
Felt relief when I’d met them and felt in good hands
Good work in a very scorching day today! 🥵

3 years they have been preparing my street for an install in Crawley. They stated they were planning to be completed by 2023. Now half way through 2026 still preparing my street on their website, but will not be honest about abandoned works. My sister lives in a hamlet with 5 houses in the country and has fibre.

The engineers were very clear in their explanation, no jargons, they new they were dealing with novice in the tech. They made sure everything worked as promised.

The installation team sent an SMS to advise on arrival time, turned up on time, were polite and courteous throughout, talked through the installation difficulties and agreed a plan before starting, used dust sheets and shoe covers, advised of delays affecting the overhead installation team with the MEWP (Cherry picker), left the work areas tidy, explained the operation of the new equipment and fault identification. 10/10. I couldn't have asked for a better installation experience.

A huge thank you to both Toob and CityFibre for an excellent installation experience.
From booking through to installation, everything was straightforward and well organised. The engineer was punctual, friendly and professional, taking the time to explain everything and ensuring the installation was completed to a very high standard.
The fibre connection is incredibly fast and reliable, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. It's refreshing to receive such great customer service and workmanship.
I would highly recommend both Toob and CityFibre to anyone looking for high-quality full fibre broadband. Thank you for making the whole experience so easy!

Cancelled planned installation of services despite advertising availability for my address, as well as immediate neighbours.
No meaningful reason for the cancellation is provided with the exception for hiding behind an alleged detailed survey conducted that Cityfibre could not provide any evidence to, no visits to the property recorded or evidenced. When trying to enquire to understand reasoning the organisation provides all excuses not to provide this detail due to sensitive private entity information.
All I want is to be connected to the service advertised, or a clear reasoning and evidence for which the connection may not be feasible, and a timeframe to resolve.
I’m still baffled by how every other property in the street is shown as serviceable and mine is not following this cancellation. This was not brought up in due diligence checks when buying the property as it was advertised as serviced by Cityfibre until a connection was actually requested.
The issue started and was logged on 27th of May 2026, to date 4th of July 2026 there is still no clarity or solution.

Quick installation but the Freesat tv box stopped working due to connections being pulled out by careless handling. A cardboard box was left on my TV stand which turned out to contain brick dust from drilling. If the engineer had told me I would have been more careful picking it up and it wouldn't have spilled on to my floor.
Further info for City Fibre to respond.
The engineer was polite and I felt confident they were doing a good job. However after they left I found my Freesat set top box was pushed under the TV stand and one of the wires had come out of the co-ax fitting which was extremely hard to re-fix . Also as previously stated ,he left the drilling dust in a box on the TV stand.
I discovered when a friend tried to phone me the following day that the landline is no longer working. It was plugged back in to the wall socket but I thought it was meant to go in the back of the router.? So now I am paying Vodaphone for a non functioning landline. I'd like your guys to sort this out. I suggest the engineers spend a little more time helping the customer get things back to normal in the area they have worked. I believe they are on a day rate and he said he had no other jobs to go to. I was first call.
