Carmen Leather is 100% fraud stealing people's hard earned money. Please do not be fooled by their prices. On 11/06/2020 i purchased the advertised classic biker jacket on their site on sale for 89.90. They delivered a useless piece of crap, fake and cheap plastic jacket which i returned to a company in china as advised by Gilman of Carmen leather. Shipping costed me another extra 30 dollars . After numerous requests to get my refund, i got an email on Jan 15th, 2021 stating that they have gone ahead and issued me a refund. When i tell you these people are crooks, believe me. To date no money has reflected on my credit card or bank statement. i reported this to BBB but BBB closed the case for non response from carmen leather. My bank has taken up the case and i am waiting to see if i'll get my money back.
People please don't buy anything from carmen leather. Do your research and read reviews. Carmen leather is fraud and belongs behind bars!!!

This company is a complete fraud. I ordered and pay for a leather jacket at the end of December 2020 and it's nearly March 1, 2021 and I've yet to receive it.

I have submitted all of the relevant information to my attorney, the Justice Department and the US Trade Commission.

Spread the word, buyer beware.

This company is a complete scam do not buy anything from them. I wish I could give it a negative zero. I am notifying the better business bureau to report them. You cannot get a response from anyone. I have sent tons of emails and still no response this has been going on since November, and still this issue is unresolved. This company is the worse and the customer service sucks! Do yourself a favor and stay away from these scammers!

Placed order with Carmen Leather on November 27, 2020. It is January 16th and have NOT received my order yet. I have sent emails numerous times and someone named Gillian responds with the same context each time. The tracking number the sent says invalid so there is now way of tracking shipment. They are a fraud. Buyer Beware. I repeat, Buyer Beware!

I ordered four jackets from them on Black Friday . I still haven’t received anything from them. I’ve sent numerous emails to get the same response. The emails doesn’t even make sense at all. They gave me two different tracking numbers and neither one exists. I called the number from Facebook and there’s a man that answered the phone. He claims to know nothing about it and said it’s his personal cell phone number. I asked for a refund and received the same email again as if it’s a automated system. I spent $369.00 and it’s obviously a scam!! PLEASE DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM!!

Terrible. I saw an advert on Instagram and ordered a pair of gloves on October 29th and thankfully paid via PayPal. I reached out again on December 1st inquiring where the delivery was and was assured by Shaira that it had been sent. On December 26th I reached out again to complain about the lack of service and delivery and follow up and they came back to me today, Dec 27th to confirm a refund. No apology, no explanation. Don't waste your time. I think it's a scam.

Ordered because I wanted leather. Advertisement on Instagram was a total hook. Website continued to tout "leather," guess I should have read the fine print. Jackets are "PU leather," "PU leather is a split leather that has been laminated with a polyurethane coating to make it look like a top grain leather." For the price, $80, the jackets are quality enough (soft, no vinyl smell for me [which I'm very sensitive to in other products], and nice looking enough) but for spending $200 on two + shipping, I would have much rather put that $ towards a genuine leather jacket. Total false advertising on Instagram. I went back and reported all their posts and their account and you guys should too. Also - zero chance of canceling your order once you figure this out. You need to pay to ship back. So now you're stuck with whatever you got. PayPal dispute was no help.

This company is the biggest scam of all time! They have been fed EVERY LEGAL LINE IN THE BOOK TO AVOID HELPING A CUSTOMER. THEY HAVE A RESPONSE FOR EVERYTHING! Their products are not the same even if you order the same item but in a different color. It's complete crap. They do not help AT ALL. They just want your money to send you garbage. They do not move an inch to help you. Don't get scammed like I did.

First their name is deceiving; they do not sell leather; it is a faux leather; second their size run quite a bit small; third, I have been trying now for a week to get a return address information for them and still did not get a response from them; It's been over two weeks since I ordered the item, and I already spent a week to figure out a return address. Unbelievable!!

I'd leave ZERO stars! I, like everyone else on this page, was scammed of my money! What a horrible company to do this to hard working people during the holidays, especially when cash flow is tight this year due to the pandemic! I always look into companies and their website seemed very legit. Located in California, has a California number (that does not work), says it ships from the US, no mention of China anywhere, etc. etc. Most Chinese website look cheap and this website did not. I thought I was safe and trusted the ad that the deep pricing was because of them going out of business, like so many others during these sad times. But instead they used that excuse as a scam and take your money to send you a $10 jacket. It's not even a quality pleather. It stinks so bad and looks like it will tear at any moment. The sizing is completely off. I ordered up following the sizing chart and it's still extremely small. In order to get my money back, I have to ship it to China, which cost almost $80. Why bother! When I filed a report with Paypal, they told PayPal to ship it to Finland. Also not cheap, but obviously a lie. Avoid this company!! What's sad is they won't publish any bad reviews on their website or Facebook so this will continue to happen.

Definitely not leather - I was sucked in by a facebook ad that advertised "leather". I looked really carefully to see if they made reference to "leather-like" or "man made material" and there was nothing. So I paid $165 for a cheap plastic jacket. If you go to their website, they do say on their page that "leather" can mean, "leather like, plastic materials, etc." Also, their return policy only allows for getting the wrong item or if it's damaged. BEWARE

Company flashed an advertisement on Instagram selling “Premium Leather Jackets” I purchased one of these and was mailed (from China) a cheap fake smelly 70%polyester 30% PU fake jacket. Which is harmful for the environment as well as not what I was being told I was being sold, which was supposed to be a real leather jacket.

This is a total scam it is represented as a real leather jacket it is from a cheap Chinese company and is not real!!! Not worth 10$

Very cheap quality and took a long time to get. Now I have to send back to China for a return that might take even longer to get refund. They should notify customers of this when placing orders.

This is just a scam plain and simple. Bought 3 items for $188 that were 100% PU (plastic) and very low-quality and stunk. They did arrive in about 2 1/2 weeks and it cost me $70 to send them back to China. This company claims to have been founded in 1970 (I did research, they were founded in between Feb and around Oct of this year); that they are a 'small company' and can't afford return shipping; they asked me to declare all the items as worth $10 not what I paid for them and to get a tracking number (which costs extra). They delete their reviews on Facebook and claim to be from Finland (at least one founder does, the other says country of unknown origin). I don't know if I will even get a refund, but will report back. They intentionally mislead people into buying by claiming their items are marked down 80% because they are going out of business. They also delete all of their comments on FB so that people can't read that it's just a scam. I learned a valuable lesson to research every company before I buy, that's for sure.

I really want to rate this BS with not a single star, actually my rating would be a negative 💯 stars! This should be false advertisement, I will be contacting the Attorney General. Bought a purse 👜 and it’s pure PLEATHER! Don’t fall for this!

Do NOT purchase through this company. Such a scam. Product is cheap quality and they don't honor their return policy.

I went to the Facebook page and called the number and the man on the other end told me I have the wrong number. As soon as I wrote my review in the comments it was deleted. I feel so sorry for everyone else that is falling for the scam. Its a lot of money!! I really hope they refund me but I'm not holding my breath.

Oh My Word....this is JUNK! And when I requested a return/refund, they said I had to ship it back to CHINA! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!
