I contacted this company as i lost my car key
I contacted this company as i lost my car key, I call them on Friday to arrange their guy to come on Saturday morning, i paid 120£ deposit to secure the slot, they said the all service would be 390£, guy arrived and after 30min he said he cant make a car key as i need original from mazda and additional cost would be around 150£ and i need to wait up to 10 days for new car key, i said i dont want this service, that i cant wait that long and would like to get the refund, after 2 weeks i just spoke with “friendly” Laurence on chat and asked the refund still hasnt hit my account and he said it did…i received email straight away that refund was done today 20th April but they keep laying that it was my bank problem bla bla bla, to summarise make sure u check if u receive your money back, i dont recommend them as over the phone they promise miracles but when it comes to actual service…it is what it is

Quick and simple to book and then the guy showed up nice and punctual. He had my new key fob/remote cut and programmed to my car in no time.
The whole process was very efficient and now I have the peace of mind of having two keys for my car again.

Car key solutions coned me out of £120…
Car key solutions coned me out of £120 on the phone I told them that I did not have the log book and drivers licence They sent a driver to program a new key and when they arrived they said they can't reprogram a new key without a logbook for the car and ripped me off. I had to open a dispute with my bank to get my money back. This company ripped me off and you should avoid at all costs.

As these documents were not available upon our engineer's arrival, the £120 call-out fee was applied. This charge covers the technician's attendance and was clearly informed and approved by you at the time of booking.

Staff fine, keys appear to be refurbs at new prices
Perfectly pleasant staff but the "new" key had one of the button symbols completely worn off and two massive scratches across the front so appears to be some kind of refurb - I wasn't in at the time and didn't think to ask my family to check. Not ideal to pay over £240 for someone else's old key especially as this wasn't mentioned at any point.
