Incompetent, scummy and unprofessional. £120 call out fee, followed by 'engineer' using the wrong diagnostics tool... No solution.Says he needs the EKA code from Land Rover. I get the EKA code from Land Rover. Turns out I never needed the EKA code in the first place. They then tell me I need to pay another £120 for another call out. I fixed the whole problem myself. These guys are way out of their depth. Finally, Louie needs some real professional training, complete cowboy with his communication and co-ordination.

Following the flat battery, the vehicle lost its key programming, which is a common issue on these models. Prior to attendance, our master engineer advised that the EKA code would be required and was informed that the customer had this available.
When our engineer attended, the codes provided were radio codes rather than the EKA code needed to proceed with programming. The engineer explained how the correct EKA code could be obtained from the dealer, and assistance with ordering it was also offered, however you chose not to continue.
As the appointment was attended and diagnostics were carried out, the standard callout charge was applied.

I am writing this to warn all future customers: please save your hard-earned money and nerves, and stay away from Car Key Solutions! They provide zero-quality service, and when their product breaks, they simply block your phone number and lie straight to your face.We paid £190 for a new key. The master cut the metal blade so thin that it completely lost its strength. The tip—which is supposed to unlock the steering wheel—literally bent and snapped off on the SECOND turn inside the ignition barrel! It's just a cheap, useless piece of metal.Shockingly, the company didn't even bother to send a specialist to check what went wrong or inspect the key! They flatly refused to investigate. Instead, they just rejected our warranty claim from their warm office, falsely accusing us of breaking it manually.When we tried to resolve this, their customer support turned into a wall of professional liars. They deliberately ignored our messages, dropped our calls, and blocked our numbers for a whole month! This is a direct violation of the Consumer Rights Act 2015.They think they can take people's money and run, but they messed with the wrong family. We have officially taken them to the HMCTS Small Claims Court (Claim Number: 012JE649). Do not trust their shiny advertisements. If you want a reliable key and professional treatment, go to an honest locksmith, not to these cowboys!

We strongly disagree with this characterization of events and must clarify the facts for our customers.
The key supplied on 5th March was fully functional and confirmed to be working perfectly upon completion. The issue reported 12 days later, on 17th March, involved a physically broken key blade. Our warranty department confirmed this damage was the result of external force or impact, which unfortunately is not covered under our standard warranty for manufacturing defects.
Despite the damage being physical, we wanted to help and acted in good faith by offering multiple free or discounted solutions to get it sorted. These included a free-of-charge repair at our workshop and a mobile visit with waived labor costs. You chose to decline these options and canceled your scheduled appointment, leaving us no opportunity to physically inspect or resolve the issue.
Furthermore, while we understand that a broken key is frustrating, we have a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding the harassment of our staff. Members of our team have been subjected to aggressive behavior, abusive language, and repeated calls from multiple numbers. We take the well-being of our colleagues very seriously and will not accept behavior of this nature.
We remain a company dedicated to fair service and reasonable solutions, but we cannot issue refunds for physical damage or where our offers to repair the item have been repeatedly refused.
