Gave up,app is awful to set up,,for. Start sent a code to log in,doesn't recognise when entered,if it does work ,it asks for a name for your account ,tells me already taken,second box says you need less then 24 or less words or numbers or periods,tried everything,gave up

Good support

Good support, very quick and effective. I'll do an update on my rating when I'll withdraw my money, but so far the experience is pretty good, despite of some UI/UX glitches on the app on mobile

Nothing good

I love the simple interface and the platform to earn a few money by putting your work in but the stripe insistency makes the platform quite one-dimensional for countries that do not have Stripe assistance because the page doesn't go live. Good customer support and clarification by them.But only one payment gateway makes it frustrating

Thank you for this, the point about Stripe availability is one we hear from creators in certain regions and it's valid. A single payment gateway does create a real barrier, and it's feedback we're actively taking into account as we think about expanding options. Glad the support experience was a good one at least.

I find this better than GoFundMe for…

I find this better than GoFundMe for creators, it’s more personal and tip vibes. Fees are about average and technically it’s pretty smooth, with good and quick customer service

Buy Me a Coffee underrated

Buy Me a Coffee is a platform that is still underrated because I dont see why it is not yet a song in every country considering their amazing, seamless and stressfree platform.

This is a platform to sell your work and receive supports without hassle. Thank you to the team, and Tina especially from the support team. Her support was magnificent and really helpful. She helped me solve the issue even when I had almost given up in my mind.

Great idea but...

Great idea, but I ran into a problem before I even started. I assume that I registered as a business and not as a person. This cannot be changed at a later date, which means I need to use another e-mail address to do it again. This is not good for me, as the e-mail I'm using is very important in my case.
The customer service was nice. Although reactions were not very fast, at least they manage to clarify my issue.
Too bad the system punishes mistakes, rather than solve them.

Thieves

They steel money from your account when you close it. I had $4.28 in my account they don’t pay out unless you have $10 in your account. I emailed them to say that I wanted this money when I closed my account but they just kept it. They are thieves and they are getting away with millions as no one can stop them doing this.

THIS NEW paragraph is in responce to their reply, to my reveue. This is a copy of ONE of their emails to me "Subject: Re: Payments

Hi Tara!

We understand your frustration regarding the remaining balance on your account. However, as outlined in our policies, payouts can only be processed once the minimum withdrawal threshold of $10 has been met. Since the remaining balance on the account is $4.28, we are unfortunately unable to process the withdrawal.

Kindly refer to the article below and this specific clause:
When can I request a payout?

You can request a payout once the support amount you've received reaches a threshold of $10.

As the account has already been closed, any remaining funds that do not meet the minimum withdrawal requirement are handled according to our standard policy, which includes returning the funds to the original sender where applicable. I have reached out to the team regarding this.

We appreciate your feedback and regret any disappointment this situation has caused. Please be assured that this policy has been consistently applied and is not intended to disadvantage any customer."
That is a lie, I check with the lady that sent the money and they have not returned it. Robbery in plain site. 😡 How many out their had this happen to them? The under $10 scam!

We're sorry for the frustration, and we want to clear this up. Balances under $10 can't be processed as a standard payout, but they're not lost, deleting your account triggers the release of any remaining funds back to you. If you haven't done that yet, that's the step that gets this resolved.

Support Staff Requested Review

I reached out thinking there was a site problem but discovered another way to achieve my result. Why still rate as four?
1) I feel instructions could improve somewhat which would have been one less the team would need to follow up on.
2) Navigation needs a definite improvement, I can't even get back to the setting up of two step verification so I am able to explain what I mean regarding better instructions.
3) Navigation could also use more icons alongside Categories and Blog, for example "Home Page" for one if you have such a thing.
4) I couldn't fault support except maybe they need more support from management, it should not be standard to have a waiting time of a few hours for a response. That alone could cause a potential financial contributor to get cold feet and abandon their intended creators support altogether, this would only hurt the Buy Me A Coffee business not to mention the intended recipient. If the workload is overwhelming maybe extra staff, even an auto generated standard return email explaining you received the customers email with an approximate expected time frame for a response. Tina from support was helpful and very polite and professional in her return email, I have no negatives regarding support staff at all.
I hope you don't feel I have been too harsh but I just read your tips on content regarding reviews, so I have not held back. I wish management and sales staff to have a copy of this email please.
