I had a very disappointing experience with Patreon. The platform feels increasingly unfriendly both to creators and supporters. Payments are confusing, with unexpected charges and a lack of transparency about fees. Customer support is slow and often unhelpful, offering generic responses instead of actually resolving issues.

The interface is also clunky and unintuitive — it’s hard to manage subscriptions or even find clear information about what you’re being billed for. On top of that, I’ve seen creators struggle with sudden policy changes and inconsistent enforcement, which makes the platform feel unreliable.

The site is awesome but the payment methods issues make it unbearable to use the site. It takes me 30 mins to change the payment method and pay for the subscription. I wish they could change that

Get a functionng browser so I can watch my creatores content without my blood boiling. You guys suck suck suck. Why dont you improve? Jesus!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAMMY COMPANY!!
Few months ago, our page got taken down because of "breaching guidelines" which we have breached for the first time(similar creators still add the same posts which we got taken down for) after many years being loyal creator with thousands of subscribers. No warning, no prior message, our page got permanently taken down and our money were nearly stolen by this scammy company. We wouldnt get our money back if we wouldnt threaten legal assistance(the amount was in +£xxxK). The horrible communication from their support/legal team once a week and always on Friday 10 minutes before their closing time. I cannot even believe company like this can exist in modern time and still operate.I STRONGLY ADVICE everyone to stay AWAY from this company!!

Received an email saying an unknown device had tried to access my account. I checked the email was legitimate but when I clicked the link to secure the account all I got was a page telling me about general password security. There was no option to lock the account or reset password. They obviously take their cyber security as a thing that is someone else's priblem. Do not sign up for an account and give them your bank details because they obviously don't care if someone hacks your account

Patreon offers consistency, trustworthiness and the team behind Patreon really tries their best to bring out features that is easy to understand and use.

There may be some features I add but in general that means such must apply to the all creators and that is simply not possible speaking as a developer myself. What Patreon does, it does well. It is really not complex to use. Of course, there will always be alternatives but for me it really offers what I need. The cut Patreon takes is neither high nor low but of course this makes sense. Any rate, the only reason I don't give Patreon a 4.5 / 5 rating is simply because of integration limitations which I feel can be a bit easier.

I you are a content creator then really give them a shot. I did not have to do this review but I so because it truly offers a service. Thanks Team Patreon.

My account was deactivated with no explanation and they won’t respond back to me. Scammers beware.

Literally below the deep bottom of bad. Customer service is terrible. 0 respect for the customer. Watch out on your money. They are in European Union but have their own rules regarding refund which will be reported further.

Terrible experience, they do not care about people using their platforms at all. I used to be subscribed to a creator charging a staggering amount of 39$ a month and patreon just wiped their account and refused to refund me my money. The creator also kept deleting, hiding, reposting same exact posts over and over again. It's truly hilarious how people just blindly trust patreon

Patreon creators are amazing, but Patreon the company will bilk you as hard as they can for as much as they can. They don't give a single flying figure. Every customer support request will take ~10 emails and will seem like maybe they will help, then be denied. Patreon is a vulture & I cannot stress enough what a bad company this is.

It's called the first amendment. Google it Patreon and then abide by it. Please and thank you.

website does not use the standard conversion rates the rest of the world does, if im advertised a patreon subscription for $3 i want to pay $3 not £3 currently £3 is more then $3 this is a scam

Patreon collects money for MeidasTouch who I've also written a review for. They send me fixes that don't work. To be quite honest why am I doing their fixes when it's their job to make sure I get what I'm paying for ??? 3years I've been paying ! Sheesh

The dont follow their own rules, dont trust this page...
