I ordered a cargo bike battery from…

I ordered a cargo bike battery from Boxbike. It was 14,3% cheaper than "Amladcykler" in Copenhagen. The battery arrived quickly, well packaged, & came with a free battery holder. I'm sure that "Amladcykler" would charge for that alone. I didn't need it, but it came as part of the purchase. Superb service!

Fast delivery and help with good advice.


The delivery came already one day after ordering a 24V 15Ah battery. When I replaced the old battery with the new one, the display was lit all the time. I contacted Håkan Boxbike Strömstad and was advised to change to the supplied battery holder, which solved the problem.

Top Service

I’ve bought a e-bike battery, the battery was not working properly, and after a quick online check with Boxbike staff and one Mail, I’ve got a battery replacement.

Just to say, this is how a company customer minded, with a good customer service works.

Great job, thanks for your professionalism, I’m a happy customer, and even happier when things get sorted out in such a way.

Boxbike has good customer service

Boxbike has good customer service and will try to help your situation , when they have available operators. After few battery exchanges :D they managed to send me a completely new battery for my elbike within the 2 years claim return right. Thank you boxbike Sweden.

Interesting experience

A clear case of a broken charger (another is working) was discussed with the service. The item is 4 months in use. The warranty cases require a payed order of investigation of the case. I had to pay 450 Kr and the label for the parcel is not even working. The charger costed med now already more than 1000 Kr. OK I get the the 450 Kr back if the case is accepted as a warranty case - lets see. The time and stress will be not be compensated. The retour label was not excepted by DHL. At the end I got help after a call: A new charger will be sent and the investigation fee is not drawn.

New battery

After trying to find a new battery to our electrical bike we decided to buy a new bike, but with a margin of about 20 minutes we stopped that process after taking to Boxbike.
We sent some photos of our old battery, the next day we got two suggestions and I ordered. less than 24 hour later could we fetch the new battery.
Excellent and very nice service...

Helpful service, fast shipping, reliable product

I bought a 250w/36v hub motor kit for my non-el ladcykel. And I'm quite satisfied with the way things turned out. Shipping was fast. Installation was relatively straight-forward. And the customer service was helpful. I've since driven 10-15km on it and everything works as expected. I'm super stoked to be hauling stuff around town in my new el-ladcykel now, and can highly recommend their hub motor conversion kit.

Satisfied costomer...

I had my fatbike for 2 weeks now and Iam really satisfied with it.It is really worth for the price and I am thinking to buy 1 more 😊.Really fast delivery plus their costumer service the best 👍👍👍they are easy to contact and has a feedback/answers immediately.
The product and persons behind it deserves 🌟🌟🌟

The best experience I have had with…

The best experience I have had with help and fast answers to all my annoying questions about the Tektro Auriga Twin HD-T525 203 mm Disc brake to my CargoBike! Then after all the help I did an order and super fast delivery and the cheapest price that i could find both in EU and China! Everything was there even 2 Disc, spacers and all the screws! I can´t say more then five 👍 up.

My Boxbike adventure...

Alot og my friens told me to write a book, a comedy, about this, but I thought the subject to be to narrow.
My story begins 12-12-2016, where, after I had done alot of research, I chose to buy my very first electric hub bike motor (kit) for my chritiania cargo bike. Boxbike had good reviews, and where the only seller of center motors which fit my cargobike in Scandinavia at the time. They also "have" a shop in Copenhagen close to where I live which was nice if I had any problems with the kit.
So far so good. I ordered it and the response was quick and helpful. Within a few days I received my order, and I was ecstatic. I start dissasembling my bike and attaching the kit. The instructions said I should be able to do this in 4-5 hours (For n experienced person, not mechanic, and that I was)
I hit a few problems during the build so I called Boxbike, and they where very sweet and helpful, but still, the proces took a couple of hours longer than expected.

And now the fun starts...

I quickly found out the the brakehandles that was been sent with the kit is for V-brakes and not disc/drumbrakes which are normal on my type of cargo bike. Using thoose would be quit dangerous. The other problem was that the bike/motor/battery stalled when I drove faster than 2 km/h in the lowest setting
So, teling this to the guys at boxbike I´m instructed to take everything apart and send it back. And that sucked to say the least, both because now I can´t use my bike again unless I buy and fit new parts which I have had to modify in the proces of attaching the kit. And because of all the time I already used.
So I send it all back, they test it, and they say that there is nothing wrong and send it back to me.
So I refit everything (4-5 hours), but the problem has the same.
I get a hunch that the issue is when the battery is put under
more resistance than just when it´s spinning in the air, it shuts off So I call Boxbike, ask if they tested the battery while white resistance, and the answer was: "No".
So I send back the battery, get a new one, and to everyones suprise, it works.
As a litttle bonus I get them to exchange my 250w motor for a 350w motor which was very nice of them.

But it doesn´t end here...

I also have some communication with them about a missing sensor on the right front brake, so the send a spare and I get i fitted with a little help from an electrical ingenieur I know. It turns out he messed a bit up, resulting in me having to purchase a new control box. This with the help from Boxbikes guy living pretty close to me.
I had hoped to be able to go to their shop, but it was apparently just a showroom only open in the summer, which closed aprox. 1/2 year after my initial purchase.

1 1/2 year late a metal part connecting the engine and the pedalarm broke. They were a bit hard to get a hold of, but eventually send me a new motor. On the 2 year waranty.

2 years in the battery stopped working, and after I had tried for sometime to get the battery fixed, changing the BMS, and sending it to a professional repairshop, I had to let it go and buy a new one.
Earlier they promised me a discount a new battery, for all the problems I had had, but they didn´t have batteries in stock, and I was tired of waiting, so I bought a new one, in my example, a brand new 14,5Ah 36V battery from ebay. Connected the new harness/holder, and I was riding again.

And that´s where I am now,

To recap: Broken battery, wrong brakehandles, missing sensor on one brakehandle, moisture in the display in wet and cold conditions, loose connector from the controlbox to handleremote, motor broke, battery broke.
And the service/response time has gone down hill.

But I´ve learned alot and I´m riding again. So everything isn´t to bad.
