I visited today to collect and try on…

I visited today to collect and try on my new prescription glasses.
Ellen and Nicky were extremely kind and knowledgeable regarding my fitting and adjustments.
I have an excellent new pair of glasses, this is thanks to Hamel and his expertise at eye testing. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my eye test, prescription and glasses. Thank you

Everything to do with my eye checks was…

Everything to do with my eye checks was explained & showed clearly to me by Helen the optometrist. I recommend the new Dry Eye scan as it shows so much more detail of the eyes than just dry eyes.

Probably as good as it gets

Probably as good as it gets. Lovely staff , kind and helpful. However like everything today there is a cost. All medical things cost a lot and as you age you need more medical help....it's just too expensive to get older these days.

Waited forever and made to feel like a thief

I had an appointment time, yet upon arrival I had to wait for over half an hour to be seen. Only when I complained I was called in for the tests.
When buying glasses, the pricing was extremely opaque and frustrating.
I had to wait forever for somebody to open the glasses so I could try them on - this wasted huge amount of time and was very awkward - I'm not a thief and you made me feel like one.

Can’t recommend boots opticians enough

Can’t recommend boots opticians enough, all staff most helpful. I had a problem with my new glasses… they just weren’t comfortable. After a few visits, staff tried to adjust the arms but it didn’t work…so I was offered to choose a new pair!! Can’t fault them …. I have used boots opticians in Newport Isle of Wight for many years and have always found them to be excellent!!

Great Customer Service

Every member of staff were really friendly, knowledgeable and felt as though they had time for you. Didn’t feel rushed and the optician was really thorough and explained everything that she did and the outcome of the tests.

Boots opticians neath

Boots opticians neath. What a shambles. Booked appointment online after gp said I needed eye test only to arrive early get booked in to be told later that there’s been a glitch in the system. Another lady had also been booked in the same time as me but her appointment had been cancelled but nobody had told her. My appointment was still there not cancelled. Oh dear there must be gremlins in the system I was told. The other lady who was older than me and kept saying she needed the eye test as she was having a brain scan took the eye test as I felt it only right out of respect for my elders to give up my much needed appointment and walk away. Bearing in mind I’d travelled a fair distance to get to the appointment and my appointment was still valid. The staff didn’t accept responsibility they put that on the patients to make a decision not accepting that the problem was on their side. The elderly lady had the appointment I walked away. I will never use boots opticians in neath again. After talking to some people in the coffee shop next door she said her mother had the same experience there so have others. The staff should have taken the responsibility for the error instead of throwing it at the patients. Disgusting

ADIL and ZAKKIYYA … at Boots St. Stephens, HULL.

ADIL … at Boots, St.Stephens, Hull. (Also Zakkiyya Mohammed professional, thorough, knowledgeable and approachable.) Adil was smartly dressed, professional, approachable, knowledgeable, humorous and he had time for me. For years my family and I have used Boots. I’m not interested in cheap glasses bought from other opticians or online. I’ve always had personal treatment from Boots with 100% professionalism, knowledge and care. Whenever there’s been eye problems my family have always made an appointment with Boots, who have tested our eyes and when necessary immediately referred us to Hull Royal Infirmary Eye Hospital. I specifically reiterated several times…

I specifically reiterated several times when making the appointment that it was for a contact lens test. When I arrived on time I was told I was booked for a spectacle test and made to feel like it was my fault. I then had to stand around while the person dealing with me kept interrupting what she was doing with me to help other customers. Then more waiting while the manager was called. More waiting while she went to speak to the optician. 30 minutes later and running late for my next appointment, I asked for my prescription so I could leave and make an appointment elsewhere. 15 minutes while they walked around deciding whether they would get the optician to sign it. I left.

I visited Boots Opticians today for an…

I visited Boots Opticians today for an eye test and I have to say it was a truly excellent experience from start to finish.

Joleen carried out my pre-test and was very friendly and professional. A special mention must go to Nisha, my optician, who I cannot praise enough. She put me completely at ease, made the whole experience feel calm and reassuring, and explained every little detail clearly throughout the appointment.

Finally, Faye took me through the different frame and lens options. She was extremely patient, helpful, and once again explained everything in detail so I could make the right choice.

Overall, it was a really positive experience and I would definitely recommend this Boots Opticians (Chesterfield) to anyone looking for professional, friendly, and caring service.

Excellent All Round Treatment

* The appointment was very easy to book and reminders sent by text
* Routine admin , eye pressure and eye image efficiently carried out by Sarah
*Very thorough eye examination carried out by optometrist Chris who quickly identified the cause of a specific problem that had previously not been diagnosed
*Efficient field of vision and OCT scan carried out by Maria
All in all I was treated very well by the staff I saw at Boots in Winton , Bournemouth and their professionalism. I would thoroughly recommend them.
