I was insured for 6 months

I was insured for 6 months, no issues with payments, my payment failed which was my mistake. I received an email stating that I need to make a payment within 24 hours ONLINE. There website was down for maintenance and I was unable to make payment, I spoke to live chat and sent an email with evidence. They decided to cancel my insurance anyway, and are now forcing me to pay the full 12 months. This is digusting and scam behaviour. They also said I can take out a new policy, so there solution was to take out another policy and pay for two policies. Money grabbers. Be careful! I should have read the reviews before using these.

Boom were great. Very happy !

Boom were great and the process really easy. Had actually renewed with Tesco after being with Admiral (who were over double the price). Cancelled Tesco after 7 days as they demanded more money and sent really stroppy emails and their website is difficult to navigate. Nothing like that with Boom, easy to use their website and no issues whatsoever.

Took out a Boom fully comp insurance…

Took out a Boom fully comp insurance and unfortunately had to claim on it for fire damage. They source out their claims to a company which is hard to get in touch with and find there service very poor. Also found out that if the fire was started by electrical fault or mechanical fault they do not pay out. Do to the fact it can only be electrical or mechanical a claim for fire is most certainly not going to be successful. Read the policy very carefully all the way through.

Setting up the account is straightforward and can be done entirely online. There are several benefits available for new customers at a reasonable price. I hope these terms will remain unchanged next year and that the price will not increase significantly.
