I've enjoyed discounted books from Bookoutlet for some years, however over the past while, books are arriving in packaging that provides little to no protection in oversized boxes such that there is considerable damage done in transit. Order 63e981640638d8de24c0bdee is but one example and I have not contacted Bookoutlet in every case but certainly several times. I have received refunds, yes and have been treated respectfully. However, I can buy good condition after market like-new and remainder books from other sellers who do package well. I note that I have read other reviews online complaining of the same poor packaging so I am not alone. The matter is not being addressed as, over time, I have continued to receive books damaged in transit.

I have bought from here many times, I really like the prices and that they have Star Trek books. My only complaint is that the books are not safely packed, I think just a bit of bubble wrap or peanuts etc would fix this. When I had an issue with some items arriving damaged inside the box, they took care of it right away, and I was happy with their solution. I see reviews about the boxes being thin and too easily damaged, but I think they might have changed to better boxes recently as the boxes are thick and safe now. I definitely think it with a little package filler for safety, this site will become 5 stars

The prices and selection of books are GREAT. Shipping was timely. My only complaint is the packaging could use some sort of bubble wrap or cushion material. Some of my books arrived with slight tears on the dust jackets, hardcover tips bent, and one cover page folded.

Fast delivery, so many choices to choose from, great pricing, great condition the books arrived at. I love everything I got & I am so excited to read them all!

I ordered 33 books, they came in 3 separate boxes. 2 boxes were open and damaged, the 3rd box was damaged and taped. Luckily, I didn’t lose any books and only a few had some damage to them, but my suggestion would be to use better boxes. The ones used now are way too flimsy.

I received my latest order a few days ago. The books are great and in excellent condition. One book was missing, however. The Good Song: inspired by Under the Rainbow and It's a Wonderful World. Any chance I may yet be receiving that book as well? Thanks! Mike Staehler

Shipping was about 10 days, books in great condition and you honestly can't beat the price! This was my first time ordering with Book Outlet, but I will definitely be back again!

Books all came in great condition, only took a week and a half,and I was so excited. Well worth the price and such a great discount.

First time ordering from this company. I usually buy used books on eBay and small local book stores. I purchased 4 books from Book Outlet. I'm very pleased with my purchases. Books look brand new. Nothing was wrong with them. I read other reviews about slow shipping but I did not experience that. It took about one week. I definitely will be ordering again!! Thanks!

I LOVE ordering books from the Book Outlet. I get awesome books at crazy inexperienced prices. I love reading so this is the perfect place to order from. The orders come within 7-10 days & my orders are always correct.
So easy to order.

I ordered 5-6 books at a great price. They arrived quickly and in great condition… until the delivery was left by my garage where my dog chewed through the box and the covers off two books. Sigh. Can’t won’t all I suppose! But, everything went splendidly up until delivery 😁.

This was my second order from Book Outlet, and I am a happy customer. Both times, I ordered several books in order to get free shipping. I think the threshold for free shipping is very reasonable, and the prices for the books themselves is phenomenal. Some of them have significant shelf wear or even dirt on their covers, but they are new unread books, and I'm okay with it. I also think the selection is surprisingly good; every visit to the site is a treasure hunt. I do think there is room for improvement in the packaging: it's a coin toss as to whether a book will arrive with a banged-up corner due to being loose in the cardboard shipping box. Perhaps try Powells' technique of shrink-wrapping the stack of books to a piece of cardboard first so they don't shift around in transit.

Love ordering from here, and prices are great. However, it does take forever to receive which is the downside. This time around the books were a bit damaged from the sloppy packaging.

Glad to have received the book I ordered. However, I wanted to give this book as a gift for someone and it has a big sharpie mark on the top of the book. Bummer. No way to get rid of the mark. Other than that, I was able to purchase it at a great price.

I was looking for a book but ended up buying three. I was really glad to find some books that had been on my wishlist at very good prices.

My order was missing two books and I still haven’t heard back from customer service to correct it.
