My issue is with the shipping of the books. I recived an order yesterday. One of the two boxes of the order was open and damaged. I am surprised that one or more of thee books did not fall out.

My previous from earlier November never arrived. The tracker tool indicated that the box of books was delivered to my local post office but it never made it to my house. The tracker stated that the package was damaged.

The books either need to be better packaged or the postal service needs to treat them more kindly. I don't think you will have much luck getting the postal service to change.

We found the book our niece has been asking for! Ordering was easy and it arrived in a secure package in just a few days!

Gosh I'm a TREMENDOUS reader & love almost all book shops, so these guys really had to disappoint me to make me not want to ever do business with them again. My first order ever was literally just thrown in a box much too big for both items, without any protection whatsoever, and one was a big box craft kit while the other was a smaller paperback book – they jostled around in that box from Canada to Philly, USA so the paperback's cover is hanging by an inch of binding, and it's mangled. The craft box was also damaged. These were both gifts for Christmas. They literally didn't care enough to even package with any semblance of care. And I paid for shipping! So it should cover the basics like bubble wrap and accurately sized boxes. I have been an eBay seller before so I know that this is not okay behavior for a seller if they care about their customers. And how broke people are, companies should be grateful for the sales. This was anything but. Then I get a automated reply email to my email showing the damage and it says to go to the website to view my ticket, but there's no ticket there. So even more lack of concern for the customer and their time. I'm just disgusted at this order – if I were able to show you the picture of the box and the items, you would all agree this was not acceptable. I never had an experience like this with any book store online, and I buy from them all. So it's telling. Then the lack of accurate or timely customer service when it's the holidays and they know that most orders are gifts. Now I have to use the money I shouldn't use to get these gifts elsewhere and just hope this store eventually responds and gives me my money back. Because that's what they should do if they want to make this right. That's the only thing with this level of... Honestly, disrespect. Opening that box was a slap in the face. Throwing items in a huge box without any thing to keep them safe and then shipping them cross country – there is no reason for this!!

Great prices. Delivery takes a while but the prices make it worth the wait!

The physical quality of the book I ordered is poor. The pages of are ragged on the non-binding edge of the book. Bought it for myself and it is readable, so will keep it, but would never gift it. It looks like a "second."

Great company. But shipping needs improvement. My latest order came with the box barely holding together. The bottom of the box was unglued and the side was split open. My last order had never made it and the replacements sent to me are also lost in the mail. Which makes sense after seeing the box from the order that did make it to me.

Great service and good follow up. Although the item arrived via media mail, it was on time and just what I ordered.

I love the selection of books that you have, and I especially love the prices. One addition to your website I would really appreciate would be the ability to search my past orders. I sometimes forget whether or not I have purchased an item, and it is so time consuming to go back and search each order individually. We order a lot of books, so a search feature would make that process so much easier.

The box of books had half of the to torn off and it was left in the rain. One of the books I received was torn in the binding.

I love how affordable the prices are. I am a high school English Teacher , and I host a book club with students at my school. When picking books for book club, we always start by looking at what is available on Book Outlet. This website never fails to provide us with countless affordable options!

The books could have been packaged better. There was nothing protecting them! And a lot of them got bent covers and pages in the process. The box had a huge hole in it! And since there was no other barrier like plastic or some other protective barrier the books got a bit dirty.

It was hard for me to believe these deals were real but my books did arrive brand new and for amazing prices

This was my first time finding the site and I purchased a whole cart full of books for a wonderful price! They came so fast and are all in great condition. Can’t wait to get them all fit into my bookshelves. Will definitely be a frequent shopper going forward.
