Bought a pall, got receipt and confimation and then they cancelled a couple of days later due to unavailability of the outlet product. They even called me to verify if I still want to buy it and suddenly claimed they have to cancel the purchase. How come? after my purchase the item was not listed anymore on their webiste so it does not make sense when they explained that another person has bought it. Very irritating and unprofessional

Delivery was delayed twice with no explanation. Guys who came to deliver sofa didn't unpack the package and intall it, but left right away. Contacted customer service with no reply..

Hi,
I can not give more than 2 stars ... because
I bought 5 items from Bolia.
Three were okay, but two parts are not as it should (i but cracked).
I created a support case with Bolia. Since 4 weeks I get a nice email every that they not have the capacity to deal with the cases.
Hopefully next year Bolia support will reach the next level of Support case handling: doing more things than writing emails.

This is my second purchase from Bolia, and both items have not been up to the standard of quality for their prices.
The recent item was received over three weeks ago, is unuseable, and I am still waiting to hear back from somebody regarding my product issue.
I receive an automated message claiming they are busier than normal to attend to my case currently which worries me that there is so many fault claims.
I will not buy anything again from Bolia, given the customer service and quality control.

We love so much and no regrets at all in buying our T20 bench and charirs from Valby. Craftmanship and the quality of the wood is excellent! In addition prices are reasonable -got 30% off :). Planning next year to have a lenestol or sofa from Bolia!

First of all, really bad delivery! We recently bought a Noora Sofa. On the day that we expected the sofa to be delivered, only one person showed up to deliver the sofa. Therefore, my partner had to help him to carry all the sofa parts upstair. This was totally disappointing that with such an expensive purchase, we did not even get a proper service on the delivery.
Second, when we visited the Bolia shop, the staff did not leave us alone even for a minute to think and choose our sofa in peace and they continuously followed us and spoke unnecessarily. Even with all this talking, they could not help us to choose the right Sofa combination.

Honestly shocked from dealing with Bolia’s customer service. We treated our grey Scandinavia sofa with the Bolia Foam Cleaner on recommendation from their own store. It ends up making the stain looking worse. We follow directions from customer service - and it looks even worse! We tried to find a solution, but customer service is so incredibly slow, arrogant, uninterested and behaving like proper bullies. They claim it’s our fault due to reasons we still don’t quite understand, even when we’ve bought every product within their own eco system and followed every direction and recommendation from their own products and employees. They were happy for us to take the case onwards to the Norwegian Consumer Council instead of finding a respectable solution between us; just shows how much they value and care about their customers. Never purchasing or considering Bolia ever again.
EDIT IN RESPONSE TO REPLY:
To clarify so there is no misinformation; we have never demanded that you send us a new sofa - this is simply untrue. All we asked was for you to cover dry cleaning costs and shipping of the footstool in this regard. As you refused, we suggested purchasing a new sofa from you at a discounted rate via suitable gift card amount. All we were offered was a 1500NOK gift card, which amounts to two kitchen bowls at Bolia, and doesn’t justify us buying a new sofa from you for 50 000NOK.
Also, as we have mentioned previously, the previous owner only ever used dry cleaning, as have we. We also purchased the sofa several years ago, and have been able to tell you how it’s been treated these years. Regardless, if your foam
cleaner is fully dependent on any previous treatment, there should be a clear warning on the product stating this.
We are still open to finding a solution, so if you’d rather continue the conversation directly rather than portraying this in a skewed matter here, please get in touch.

15 000 NOK for a cupboard that was broken. Overall quality of furniture lower than what i looks like (not massive wood, but cheaper MDF inside).
Friendly but very slow customer service. At this price, I expect more. Or I can go to IKEA again.

Loving our new couch
Got help from the very friendly staff at Skøyen. The process of actually nailing down which couch we wanted, took a few days, maybe even weeks. We got help in every step of the process. Very nice experience. Love Bolia's designs!

We ordered sofa tables with marble top. The marble top has scratches on the surface and uneven filling. The design is not cold friendly and the table falls even with a faint of nudges while walking by. When we reached out to the customer service they said this is part of the design and refused to accept the flaws in the marble by saying it’s normal for this type of marble. Our experience with in-store staff is 180-degrees to the customer service agents. I wonder if they have outsourced their customer support to some agency who doesn’t consider good customer service a part of the brand value.
