Disappointing from start to finish
Disappointing from start to finish. They missed at least five or six scheduled appointments, and after the first couple of occasions, failed to even provide any notice or communication regarding cancellations or delays.
Despite numerous attempts to reach them, phone calls often went unanswered, and when I did manage to speak to someone, there was no meaningful follow-up or resolution. They costed me a lot in terms of time, money and mental stress.
To make matters worse, the company took payment from my credit card without proper consent, which I consider deceptive. I had to chase a refund for week(s) past the promised date, with no response or acknowledgment from their team. Finally raised a case with my credit card company which helped.
This has been the worst customer experience I have ever encountered. I would strongly advise others to avoid using this company due to their lack of reliability, transparency, and basic customer care.
Extremely poor service
Extremely poor service, especially given the value of the order.
The boiler was not delivered or installed on the agreed date. I cancelled immediately and was told by phone that the order would be cancelled and the full amount refunded. Despite this, no refund was processed and I received no communication at all.
I should not have had to raise a credit card dispute to recover my money. For a company handling high-value purchases, this level of service and lack of basic refund handling is unacceptable.

BOILER CENTRAL
This is the most untrustworthy company I have had the misfortune to deal with, I ordered a boiler and paid upfront for it. A date was agreed to install the boiler, they did not turn up a second date was agreed but they moved the day without telling me at this point it was obvious they were not to be trusted. I therefore asked for a refund which was promised in 3 - 5 days two weeks later the refund was still not paid. At this point having tried several times to get a response from them as to what was going on i couldn't get a response from them they just simply ignored me. At this point I contacted my bank to ask for a chargeback. Eventually the bank got my money back after approximately 4 weeks. THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM AND DEFINITELY DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR MONEY. THESE PEOPLE ARE JUST AFTER YOUR MONEY. They just use local plumbers who they don't pay either so they cannot get anyone to work for them. They are probably on stop with their suppliers as they probably don't pay them. SO PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Would give a minus on stars if it was possible.
I had a weissman boiler installation…
I had a weissman boiler installation but Boiler Central in Dec 2022. I then have been paying for annual service £100 / years and also £33 /month for cover. They have not serviced my boiler at All. They have now sold to Ecohappy. Ecohappy do not do boiler work as I have a warranty from weissman. A rip off . My warranty is invalid. Terrible company. DO NOT USE Boiler Central!!!
Thieves
Paid for a replacement boiler but they kept rescheduling. Gave up waiting and cancelled. They refused to refund so I had to raise issue with PayPal.

I bought a Viesmann boiler with them in July 2024 and bought their service plan .They did not service it and in October they wrote me saying due to acute call outs they cannot offer routine service appt until 2026 at earliest which voids warranty.!!
Boiler central ripped me off
I paid £2150 to boiler central to fit me a boiler. I paid this in September to be fired 17 November. They never turned up. Now I cannot get through to them. I have had no boiler, no heating and no hot water. I don’t have money to go to another company as they have not refunded me. I thought they would be good as money supermarket on their website, said they work with boiler central. Looking at google reviews I have seen lots of negative comments.
Boiler Central are now 'Eco Happy'
After multiple cancellations on their part, my wife and I decided to cancel the installation. We have yet to receive a refund, and now that we've learned the company has gone into liquidation, we’ll have to go through our bank to recover the money. Luckily, we paid by credit card.
Boiler Central is no longer operating under that name and has rebranded as ECO HAPPY. After doing some research, I found that the Installation Manager, Tom, from the Boiler Central website is now the face of this new company. This suggests that James and Myles, the directors, have had so many failed businesses (like Yorkshire Boilers before Boiler Central) that they’ve had to make their Installation Manager the face of their new venture, presumably because they wouldn’t be accepted themselves.
They don’t pay their engineers or suppliers, and it seems they just keep racking up debt before folding and starting over under a new name. It’s honestly embarrassing, and it’s clear they’re just a bunch of wannabe businessmen.
Stay well away from these COWBOYS.
Stress and disappointment
Would give 0 if I could. Booked a boiler replacement with a day off work. Told engineer isn’t available for days. Requested a cancellation and refund as per policy. Was told max 10 days for refund but many days past that we still hadn’t heard back from them despite strongly worded email asking for formal process to start. Had to initiate a charge back from bank. What a waste of time and so much stress.
Annual service cover none existent?
To be honest, the installation of the boiler went smooth but....
Ive been paying these scammers monthly for an annual service plan and my annual service is due and not had a peep out of them. Ive tried contacting them and nothing. Googled them and it says permanently closed and seen the recent reviews here and it seems as if theyve scammed alot of people.
Stay clear of these scum bags! I now have to fork out for a gas engineer to come out and service my boiler..

This company had really good reviews, that's why I decided to pay them to install a new boiler. Like many recent comments mentioned, they kept rescheduling the installation for weeks and nobody came. Then I asked to cancel and get a refund, which they said they were going to do, but of course the money never arrived and now they are not answering any calls or replying to any messages.

Boiler Central are a criminal organisation. They contact you and ask for your bank details pretending that they are just checking that you have sufficient funds but in fact they take the money without your consent. That's stealing.They take your money and then don't do the work. To anyone who is panicking about this, please be reassured that you can claim the money back via your bank's charge back service. It is very wrong of this company to pretend that they fit boilers. They don't have the resources to do so. The people in the office just lie to you. They won't pay you your money back willingly, you will have to claim it back through your bank.
Cancelled order - refusing to refund money - AVOID!
Ordered a new boiler from this company. Mine was broken leaving us with no hot water or heating. I was promised a fitting date, then got told they couldn't honor that date. I requested to cancel my order so I could book with another company. I had confirmation they had cancelled my order and would refund the money. Its not been nearly a month and i've had no reply to any of my emails or calls and no refund. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!
After constant cancellations for boiler…
After constant cancellations for boiler installation we decided to cancel.. As we paid up front we were promised a refund.. however that was over 2 months ago and we have received nothing. My husband and myself have health issues which makes us very sensitive to cold and need the money returned so we can replace our leaky boiler so warning to anyone who might be considering using this company.. Con artists - they have my money and I have no boiler
I have paid this company £2250 for a boiler. They did not turn up on the agreed installation day and they will not respond to phone calls or emails. Their FB page now gives the details of a different boiler company that is nothing to do with Boiler Central. Con artists as far as I can see - they have my money and I have nothing in return and cannot contact them.

Did not fulfil their promise for Boiler Service. Engineer failed to turn up and no communication.
Luckily I got my boiler serviced after telling them I was NOT going to renew! Once serviced, I decided to read the reviews on Trust Pilot.
I was going to renew, but after hearing that Boiler Central may well have gone BURST, (see other reviews) my advice would be to find another company. I have emailed them so that the cancellation is noted. No one answers the phone unless you wish install a new boiler.
I have also CANCELLED the direct debit from my bank to prevent the collection of £15.99 from 13/12/25. Its important you do that otherwise they will continue to collect the monthly payment!
Very very poor
Boiler booking was great then they proceeded to tell me that the engineers for fitting were "unwell", "something came up", "they cant make it today". Rescheduled 3 times then gave up and cancelled. I cancelled on 5th November and expecting a refund between 3-5 days. 26th November, no one answers the phone and I have had to open a paypal case against them. Worst company ever, we were left without hot water and heating for 2 weeks.
