Really bad after-sales care - can't get leak fixed!
Although the price and initial fitting were good, I'm very disappointed with the after-sales care. 3 months after the installation the magnetic filter started leaking, resulting in a completely cold house when we returned home after Xmas.
After leaving a repair request on the Boiler Central website I got no response in several weeks (not even an automated confirmation mail). I tried again on the website, and also repeatedly phoned them at different times of day but could never get through to anyone. I left a voicemail but it was ignored.
It is a shame
It is a shame as I was very happy with original boiler installation and price of my boiler and he first two services. But the 1 star has been trying to get a response from Boiler Central by phone or email regarding a service in December which may mess with my guarantee on my boiler. If someone from the company would contact me that would help. The lack of response does not encourage buying a plan from them. Also frustrating as get calls from sales team re solar panels but phone just rings for contacting re maintenance .. it has been 2 months !
Unable to contact this company regarding service
I pay for a Service Plan for my boiler, spoke to someone back in October to book a service, was told next dates would be January, I gave them 3 date options, one of which has already passed.
Can't get through to anyone on any of the phone numbers given on their website, tried sending an email but that was returned as undeliverable. Have been trying to contact them since the 2nd January.
Really unhappy with this situation and not sure where to turn to next.

ECO HAPPY LTD HAVE PURCHASED BOILER CENTRAL
Taken from the administrators report Eco Happy LTD purchased Boiler Central LTD on 19th December 2025 for sum of £59,000.
They purchased the company with over £2m of debt and the debt has been squashed with the administrators. I am owed thousands along with hundreds more.
Eco happy ltd flag reviews on their trust pilot and reply to allegations that they have NOTHING to do with Boiler Central.. hilarious considering they purchased the failed boiler central.
These people should be behind bars.

Gone bust?
Paid for a service plan, got to the 12 months and they said they were booked up for 3 months. Unfortunately that would invalidate my warranty so I cancelled and requested a refund (through their website, which looked like it might be simple and automatic). I then pretended to be a new customer online and could book a service for the following week - so clearly just grabbing new money rather than servicing those who had already paid.
Unfortunately, I'm still waiting for a refund, 3 months later, despite numerous calls and emails. In the last month all emails to all their addresses are returned and phones not answered, so it looks like they may have gone bust!

Just found out they have gone into administration and I won’t most likely be getting my one off £100 payment for my service which was due on 4th Jan, I am very angry and unhappy with this as my payment was made via debit card.
Little update guys, if you paid by credit card or even debit card, contact your bank as mine are doing a check and said they’ll give me the money back unless boiler central refuse the claim I’ve made.

I am waiting for service to be done
I am waiting for service to be done. Something now wrong on boiler. I am 73 with osteo perosis etc and alone. I cannot get through to them tried ringing and emailing. Not coming back to me at a. So I am sat nott know if engineer coming today or not. The boiler is useless and only 2yrs old. Trying to get hold of them is a joke. So I am sat frightened to use heating in cold as something wrong. Am cold and strugglubg
No phone call back nothing all I get is cont on wrbdite which I have done no contact at all. So I am struggling. They don't answer phone and don't send eng out same day that's utter bull. I also advised new email as other one hacked.
BIG Company ZERO customer Care
Do not buy from these big company, customer service ZERO, emailed them regarding boiler issue no response, called no answer or can't even get through, lime cuts off automatically. Desperately needed engineers but they are enjoying their Xmas and New Years holiday. Highly not recommend to use their service. My boiler is not even 3 years old already having problems, the cover £8 monthly doesn't cover anything those engineer only come to do the service. Servicing only cost 70 to 80, thses thugs are stealing money from customer.

My 1 star review is deserved. A poor experience. I have been waiting since installation was done on 6th of August and completed a month later. Despite nearly being 2026 I still have not received my handover paperwork etc. I’m very disappointed
Update they have now gone bust. Eco Happy is their new company name. Same directorship and staff
Impossible to reach out
I am trying to get our yearly boiler check with them and it is simply impossible. I called multiple numbers, I tried using the website, I even reported a complaint, but it is impossible to speak with anyone.
Their website has been like this for at least 2 weeks. There is no way to book the appointment. I used different devices at different times. Embarassing really.
Have obtained a county court judgement.
Have obtained a county court judgement against Boiler Central Ltd. and will progress enforcement if not paid immediately. If the company is liquidated, I will go through the insolvency practitioner.
If it is shown that the director of Boiler Central engaged in fraudulent activity, then there is no hiding behind a limited company and I can go after him personally.
For those progressing their claims through the courts, please note the latest on Companies House:

Boiler Central took £100 in advance for a Boiler Service in October. It is now late December and despite requesting a refund 2 months ago, they have ignored me.
No refund, no service.
Avoid this cowboy company!
Customer support was lacking
Full year review:
- The installation in Jan was late by a few days due to lack of engineers, not next day as promised but done
- The engineer was rude and I was chasing 5 days after installation due to a leak he caused
- I had to arrange another visit with another engineer to fix a pipe the previous engineer crushed by accident
- The company upsold/recommended monthly subscription £8.99 to get annual service
- In October I could not book anything for December and slots only available in Jan 2026
- I had to request annual service from British Gas who came promptly
- British Gas found out there was abnormally high level of CO, around 10-11x times due to poor configuration
- I tried to reach Boiler Central for 2 weeks to no avail and had to book British Gas to fix
- British Gas fixed it quickly and tested again and I cancelled their monthly subscription as I wasted my money
- The installation + boiler + pipe + waste removal was around £5000 and was very expensive but the customer support was non-existent and I'm not happy about it. I had renovation after it and my builders pointed out other suboptimal parts done by the Boiler Central engineer, but it was too late. But thanks anyway. 3/5 is fair.
Terrible company.
Ordered a boiler and installation. Alarm bells should have rung when they offered an extra discount for paying upfront. Agreed a date for installation, got a call the day before saying the installer was not able to attend. I agreed another date for a week later, same thing. Call to say unable to attend. Reluctantly agreed to third date. No one arrived, no call. Tried to contact via Web form, no reply. Tried phoning over next 3 days, not picking up, no response to left messages. Raised a dispute with PayPal, who found in my favour as (no surprise) they didn't respond to PayPal either, so fortunately got a refund. Aviod this company like the plague!
How the mighty fall
Several years ago, I wrote a glowing review after my boiler was installed by the company. However, service has plummeted. I received a reminder that my boiler was due for a service, so I tried ringing. After 8 attempts, I gave up the phone as after you choose an option, it would ring, then cut out. I tried responding to their email, but they don't allow a response that way. So I tried booking online and yet again was thwarted with the system hanging and refusing to move on to the next stage. I checked their website for any alternative means to contact them, but alas, nothing! So whilst they may be fine at installation, their ongoing customer service now ranks with the poorest. I would guess they can't blame it on a technical fault as it's been a problem for awhile.
Trading Standards
To be fair I had very good installation a couple of years ago through Boiler Central although they did use a local contractor for the work. I took out a service cover plan [boiler warranty] an this was fulfilled last January 2025 as promised. I have tried to book a service online this year but the online booking system is not working. I have called the company many times to try and arrange a service and like most reviews state on here, I have been unable to speak with anyone, the phone just cuts out. You cannot complete the online help form either.
I am aware that the company has recently been taken over and the founder resigned his poition from the board in October 2025.
Based on all the negative reviews and my own experience the alarm bells are ringing. So today, I have contactced Citizens Advice and reported Boiler Central to Trading Standards, and will be formally submitting a breach of contract letter shortly.
I will update further information as we go through the process.
