A truly special boat trip in Árnafjørður. A cozy, breathtaking place, made even more memorable by the small handcrafted wooden boat, which fits only five people and gives the experience a less-touristy feeling.

We saw lots of wildlife, including birds, a pod of dolphins, and seals, and the fishing was fantastic. The lunch snack on board was a lovely touch, too. Great hospitality and full service from start to finish. An unforgettable experience.

It was a wonderful day, both because of the natural wonders Samson showed us from his boat and because the fishing was excellent. I highly recommend this trip.

We had an amazing fishing trip and an overal great time out on the sea. We caught plenty of fish, saw dolphins swimming around us, seals, puffins and other birds. We also got a snack and a coffee on the boat. We think the price is fair with regards to the provided experience. Samson is a very educated person with a lot of love for the nature and the sea.

The experience was highly satisfying because the host showed an enthusiastic attitude towards the natural environment he showed us. The weather was favorable, the views beautiful, and the wildlife appreciative. A small group tour on a small boat seems to me the best way to combine tourism and conservation.

An excellent excursion—great for fishing, nature watching, and the company; a very enjoyable experience.

I took part in the "Seabirds, Seals & Seacaves Tour in Árnafjørður" and really enjoyed it. Samson is very passionate and knowledgeable guide. Highly recommended.

The tour with Samson was a very nice experience. We were the only two passengers and enjoyed an exclusive and relaxed trip. The wooden boat created an atmospheric adventure as we could reach out to the water and rocks. We discovered colourful caves and the sea was quiet. We came close to waterfalls and saw several sea birds incl. puffins. Thank you very much for the tour, stories and coffee!

Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. We were incredibly lucky with calm, sunny weather and excellent fishing. Samson was an entertaining host and made the trip fun throughout.
There was a misunderstanding about our meeting time, but Samson came to pick us up about two hours later and still took us on the full four-hour fishing trip, which we appreciated.
The only downside was the price. At DKK 6,780 (around CHF 870) for four people, it was simply too expensive. We really wanted to have this experience, but we feel a price of around DKK 3,000–3,300 would have better reflected the value.
Other than that, we had a great time and can definitely recommend the trip.

Samson is a very good guide with deep knowledge of the nature and it’s environment of the Faroe islands and especially of Arnafjordur. Many birds, including Puffins and also Seals could be observed. Fishing was also a highlite.
This trip must be recommendet to all people loving the nature of Faroe island.

We had the most amazing day with Samson on his boat. It is way more than a fishing trip, but they are SO MANY FISH! I think we caught like 20 Cod and 3-4 Halibut. Samson was the most delightful guide. We got to see puffins, seals, and fumar. This has been the best experience I have ever done, this beats a magical hot air balloon ride in Morocco. I cannot recommend this enough, it was the best! Oh and I got to steer the boat while Samson cleaned our fish! Just the all-time best!!!!!! You 100% should book this!!!!

What a treat to experience fishing out of a traditional wooden boat! Samson was terrific, knowledgable and full of stories - and great at finding the best spot for fishing. We caught lots and had a great time.

We did the Seabirds, Seals & Seacaves from Arnafjordor tour. It was really amazing. Samson takes good care of you, nice sturdy boots, a good suit for the conditions of the boat. The boat is really amazing, so characteristic.
We got twice a small rain shower, but we even didn't notice, because of the good suit and boots. Just wear warm socks and some layers of shirt and small vest.
We saw birds and Samson showed us the beautiful caves and coastline and when we told him we went to Mykines but didn't see puffins because it was to cold that day, he helped us recognise them on the water and in the air. But don't book this tour only for the puffins, this tour offers so much more! It was amazing, beautiful birds, caves, waterfall, good company. Samson is very nice to talk to.

Exceptional experience!

We booked the Fish, Visit & Dine and it is hard to find the right words for this experience: it checked all boxes for us! Seeing the stunning faroese landscape from a traditional wooden boat, fishing in the waters of the North Atlantic, hearing about the local traditions, learning about the islands and eating the fish we caught ourselves at the most welcoming home of our hosts for the evening. We will cherish the memories we made that day forever. Highly recommended!

The fishing trip with Samson on the small traditionell wooden boat, was definitely the highlight of our stay on the Faroe Islands.
My nine year old son and myself really enjoyed the ride and of course the successful catch of fish.
Samson was a great host, served some snacks and coffee in a cave and could also explain a lot.

We had a great afternoon on our boat.fo tour. A balanced mix of everything you could want in an experience— beautiful scenery, storytelling, fishing, and Samson’s personal history in the Faroe Islands. And we left with two meals worth of fresh fish! Wholeheartedly recommend.

Faroe islands were an amazing experience but this boatbtrip was THE BEST PART FOR US. The captain is so nice and kind and patient towards our 2 little kids who were entertained throughout! I wish we can relive it!

We spent a wonderful afternoon on the water with our guide who has roots to this fjord from his early childhood. He was thoughtful, engaging, and genuinely interested in sharing his unique knowledge of this absolutely stunning part of the Faroe Islands with us. I encourage anyone who has made it all the way here to go one step further and see the Faroes from the water. We had an absolutely wonderful time. Thank you!
