I visit the Skipton Branch looking for specialist paint and was pleased to find they had what I required. I also browsed and found lots of bargains, yorkshire tea bags, great range of biscuits, crisps etc all at very competitive prices. I afterwards received a parking ticket for being 17 minutes over. I contacted customer service to explain why I took longer and they looked into it and were. Dry helpful. They got the fine cancelled. I cannot fault the service of all the staff, in store and on line.

I’ve always loved going to my favourite store b&m, this is until now, prior to this I had an altercation with one of the staff, outside of work in a club, she’s a similar age to me and is 19. Yesterday I decide to go shopping for my mum she needed me to go to b&m, I was simply going for shopping and candles! I’m walking down the candle isle looking for candle burners, I see this 19 year old girl with her mother, [they work in the same store] which I had no idea any of them worked at b&m as I’ve always shopped their and not had any trouble! Me and my cousin hear the staff calling us both a “sk£t”between themselves, when I had no intention to cause any trouble and the situation did happen outside the work place, the 19 year old then continued to jump around the store threatening us as her work place, further telling us she didn’t care if we reported her, I really thought she was gonna hit us, I find it vile and immature a 19 year old can act such an immature way whilst working, we didn’t say anything, we just wanted to shop! We addressed the manager and further told him this wasn’t on, which he also agreed he took my details, and promised a call later on that day! I received no call no email! We also have video proof and video audio of this happening! It’s not on and I live locally to b&m so will be taking this further.

I contacted B&M with a query regarding one particular product and received a speedy and helpful reply via email.
As a result I bought two water butt sets at my nearest B&M shop today. They are cheaper than elsewhere in my area for the same brand. The staff at the shop in Cardigan were very helpful. Altogether a pleasant experience.

Calcot, Reading branch has almost nothing advertised on site. When at till earlier, I went to pay with 2 £5 notes, which I got from an atm machine inside the bank. The idiot behind the till in B&M tried to claim they were old paper £5 notes (which ceased being used in 2017) - so I gave her 2 more £5 notes.
None of them were checked properly - and they refused to accept the notes, even though they were legal tender.
I went into Sainsbury's afterward, bought some items - paid at self service till. NO issue with the notes B&M had just refused.
That B&M store has now lost my custom - as they have done this to me before, with attitude. I rated 1 star, because nobody allows a 0 Star rating.

The 5 star is for the customer service over the phone not in the shop where I tried to return my product. Perhaps they need to give extensive training to their shop floor staff on how to handle returns and also the right questions to ask customers eg: the method by which a product was purchased should they have lost their receipts as this could be traced back on the customer’s account.

I went into the droitwich store on the 30th June and spoke to Zoe and Morgan. They helped me with a personal matter and they went above and beyond to keep me safe in the store. I didn't get a copy of my receipt but needed to return an item. I emailed customer service and gave the info about the purchase and they were able to give me a copy of the receipt info which I printed off and used to return my item.
I had even made a mistake when I first gave the info which cause them to struggle to find transaction, so they called me to try to sort it out promptly. Very happy with their customer services for this situation.

Box fell off a shelf onto me as wasn’t stacked properly or had insufficient or incorrect safety measures and their complaints team are trying to tell me I can’t complain and need legal advice .. this is wrong info after checking legally. Hated going in there before definitely even more so now ..terrible ethics.

Again, great customer service. Had a product that broke second time using it after a couple of months. Didn't have the receipt but went down with my bank statement. As it was longer than 30 days the manager asked me to contact customer services with the bank details and they would be able to issue a receipt.
I did this by email. It was very quick and was then refunded at the shop. Everyone was great at the shop and online. Thanks again.

I requested for the CCTV footage regarding rude behaviour of one of the Manager at their store. It was not only about the rude behaviour of the staff but the same person was not accepting to return the item even when I was told in writing by their customer care that I could return the item in the store. Finally the return was accepted but I really was in shock with the behaviour of this person. About CCTV footage I was told that "After carefully reviewing your request and the identification provided, unfortunately, we are unable to confirm that the individual visible in the footage can be reliably identified as you based on the ID submitted". So as a result of that I was denied for any CCTV footage. About the Manager's rude behaviour I was told that they can not disclose what action has been actually taken. So as a customer after getting humiliated and insulted in the store I was left in limbo. Lesson learned. I would never visit B&M stores again. It's their loss.

I wish to comment on the service I received today when I collected four fence panels. The two people who carried the panels Tony to my van were extremely helpful and I was extremely impressed by both of them. This was at the Wellingborough store this afternoon.
