From my very first visit Kate and Vanessa from the Sales Team made me feel at home. They were very understanding, helpful, caring and so friendly. Nothing was to much trouble. I often see Kate and Vanessa around the site and they always give a wave or say hello.
I must also praise the Site Manager Paul. He has also been very helpful and happy to sort out any little snags, most of the time the same day. The workman on site are also very polite and helpful and a credit to the company.
The site itself has a nice open feeling about it. The Houses and Bungalows are not crammed on top of each other and they all have nice big gardens. The standard of finish is very good.

Throughout the entire sales process (approximately 9 months from first visit to the sales office to completion), the sales team at Priors Meadow (Kate, Vanessa and Ellie) were always most helpful and obliging and never failed to return telephone calls and emails in the most timely manner. The Sales Team carefully explained the entire sales process to us and we were always kept fully informed of the progress of the house completion. We could not have asked for any better attention or service. The post sales service has also been excellent both on site through Paul and Josh and regular calls from Head Office. So far we’ve had an excellent experience with Bloor Homes and are very pleased with the quality of our home.

from first visit to view show home until our eventual purchase and move was first class.
All colleagues, Kate, Vanessa and Elly, were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. It made our decision to purchase a Bloor Home an easy one.
After care service when we moved into our new home was exceptional as well.

Kate and Vanessa at Priors Meadow, Southbourne, were exceptionally friendly and helpful during the whole buying process, answering any questions we had and keeping us updated with build progress. We had quite a long chain which caused delays but the team were patient and understood there were things that were out of our control. The site managed to finish our property faster than anticipated which was much appreciated and which in my experience, was a first with buying a new build. The development feels spacious and peaceful despite building works still going on, and site team is respectful. We’re very happy in our new home.

We’ve had a great experience throughout the process of buying our new build. From the very beginning, our sales advisors at Priors Meadow Southbourne have been professional, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful, making the whole experience smooth and straightforward.
We are so grateful to have had Kate and Vanessa whose friendly and approachable manner made a real difference, and nothing felt like too much trouble. Communication was excellent throughout, with the team always available to answer questions, provide updates, and offer guidance whenever needed.

From 1st contact by phone on 20th January to date, Kate (Boon) and Vanessa in the Southbourne site office have been welcoming, helpful, supportive and encouraging and been a credit to Bloor Homes. Joshua Nicklin & Paul Wells of the construction team have similarly been very helpful and positive. We would certainly recommend them (and therefore Bloor Homes!) to anyone. Sadly, the website design to enable me to complete and submit this review has, in my view (an 80 year old!) been difficult to follow and I have only been able finish this with the help of my grandson.

Outstanding service from start to finish from the team at Bloor Cottage Farm.
At the beginning, Sheila showed me around and was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and welcoming. Sandy then stepped in and between them both, I always felt looked after throughout the whole process. They were always friendly, approachable, and genuinely made me feel like I mattered as a customer. They made every stage feel exciting rather than stressful.
After completion, Carl took over supporting the aftercare side and was brilliant. He was always quick to answer questions and get any minor issues resolved efficiently. Even after completion, I still feel well supported and confident that any help or advice I need will be there.
The house itself has been built to an outstanding standard, and I couldn't fault it. You can tell a lot of care, and attention has gone into the build and finish throughout the property.
I genuinely couldn’t fault anything. The whole process was made easy, smooth, and stress free from beginning to end. Sandy, Sheila, and Carl are a real credit to Bloor Homes and I would definitely recommend them to anyone buying a home. Thanks to you all :)

Right from the start Joanna has been a pleasure to deal with. She extended a warm welcome when we first went into the sales office and listened carefully to our needs for our new home. When showing us around she pointed out the various features of the two properties we were interested in, and this helped tremendously with our decision to reserve one of them.
Really impressed with the team at Bloor Homes and I’m sure this will continue as we move to our new home and the after sales team.

I’m extremely disappointed with Bloor Homes and how they’ve handled an ongoing issue with my garden wall foundation.
Despite NHBC setting a clear deadline for the foundation to be brought up to standard, nothing meaningful has been done. The foundation currently sits at just 1.25m, when it should be over 2.5m to comply with NHBC requirements. This isn’t a minor detail—it’s a fundamental structural issue that should never have been overlooked in the first place.
It’s frustrating to be left chasing this, especially when there are clear guidelines and deadlines in place. Homeowners shouldn’t have to push this hard just to get basic standards met.
I expected better accountability and professionalism. Right now, it feels like being ignored rather than supported.
If anyone else has dealt with similar issues, I’d be interested to hear how you got them resolved.

From the very start, our experience with Bloor homes in Shrivenham has been amazing. Our sales advisor Joanna Lang has been helpful and friendly, answering our many questions and guiding us through the journey of buying our home.
We are very impressive with the home we have chosen ( Morris) and the price and incentives we were given. I cannot recommend Bloor highly enough in this our first experience of them. We are very much looking forward to more from the team as we move forward with our sale.

Genuinely awful experience from start to finish.
We raised issues with the garden at the home demonstration, uneven ground and holes everywhere, and were told it would be sorted. Nearly a year later, it still hasn’t been.
The lawn was never properly done. It was just reseeded, and badly. The contractors did the absolute bare minimum. No proper levelling, no rolling, no real ground preparation, and the seed was not even raked in properly. The result is exactly what you would expect, patchy grass, large bare areas, and a garden that is still completely unusable.
Months of going back and forth and nothing has actually been fixed. Every time there is another excuse, usually blaming the weather, instead of anyone taking responsibility.
Communication has been poor throughout. We have had to chase constantly and still get no clear answers or proper plan. We have already asked for the lawn to be re-turfed properly because reseeding is clearly not working, but this is just being ignored.
We have effectively been left without a usable garden for the best part of a year. That is completely unacceptable.
Once they have your money, the attitude changes. The whole “family owned” image means nothing when the aftercare is this poor.
I have seen how other developers handle issues and this is nowhere near that standard. There is no urgency and no accountability.
At this point we just want it fixed properly.
Based on our experience, I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before buying from Bloor Homes.
