Great service and constant communication throughout the buying process

We recently moved into our new home at Coseley New Village and felt it was important to share our experience.

From start to finish, the process with Persimmon Homes has been very positive. Buying a new build can sometimes feel daunting, but the support and communication we received throughout made everything run smoothly and gave us real confidence in our purchase.

Since moving in, we have been extremely happy with the quality of our home. There have only been very minor snags, which is to be expected with any new build, and these have been minimal. The overall finish and attention to detail throughout the property really shows the level of care and effort that has gone into building it.

A special mention must go to Sanj, the Site Manager at Coseley New Village. He has been absolutely outstanding. He is always approachable, professional, and incredibly helpful, taking the time to guide us through any queries and ensuring that any issues are dealt with promptly. It’s clear that he takes great pride in his work and genuinely cares about the homes being delivered and the people living in them.

We would also like to give a special mention to Charlene and Audrey at the site office, who are always a delight to see and catch up with. Credit must also go to them for their consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful approach, which really adds to the overall positive experience of visiting the site office.

We will also be completing the NHBC survey and leaving feedback on other platforms, as we believe good service and quality work should be recognised.

Overall, we are very happy in our new home and would not hesitate to recommend Persimmon Homes to friends and family.

Richard Newman came to put up my house number on the wall. He did this perfectly. He asked me if there were any other issues and I asked him for a little paint so I could paint over scuff marks made by my removal company. Richard offered to do the repairs for me and did these brilliantly.
He was extremely polite and a tidy worker. Thank you.

Had a few minor snags that needed sorting today after being in our Persimmion home for just over a year and just wanted to give a shout to Richard Newman who not only came in and sorted the issues he fixed things that I hadn't even picked up on. Did the jobs well and cleaned up after himself - 5* service!

This company please avoid customer service is poor after you buy a home they not interested I have been in my home for 3 years now and it’s still not right and persimmon don’t care.
The Durham office just like to ignore you or reply on a Friday at 16.55 with an answer like we still reviewing your complaint. From 5 months ago. There is a Facebook page don’t buy persimmon homes please check this out as it’s got the truth all over it.
My en suite shower has been done 3 times and still not right and now the warranty company is involved and stated it needs remedial work and still been ignored.

Mark turned up first thing , did the job very quick all good and back to normal.
Customer service team have been very helpful and responsive to any jobs that have been logged.

As a first time buyer, the process in itself is overwhelming. But then with a team that make the dream come alive is everything. My experience with Persimmon from start to finish has been absolutely wonderful. Gerda (Sales Representative) has been fantastic. Listened to my needs and suggested the exact plot that checked all the boxes. Her communication and warm personality has been fabulous as well as prompt messages from Amy.

During my house demo, I was fortunate to have met Michael (Site Manager). Such a knowledgeable person. He was patient in explaining how things worked, answered all my questioning and reassured me of fixing anything that I wasn't too happy with. He is brilliant at his job.
I will definitely recommend Persimmon Homes to all buyers as they make the house purchase journey seamless and their homes are lovely. A great team to turn that dream into a reality.

I had a great experience with Persimmon. Gerry Gormley and Brian Douglas were professional, respectful, and easy to deal with throughout.

They kept me informed at every stage and explained things clearly, which made the whole process smooth. Any questions I had were answered quickly, and their attention to detail showed in the final result.

The work was completed to a high standard, and I am happy with the service I received. I would recommend Persimmon, especially Gerry Gormley and Brian Douglas.

Superb service from painter Gary, came and carried out the filling work last week and the painting and finishing today. Workmanship, professionalism and cleanliness after the job was done was all spot on.

Simon came to our house at Plot 77 in Stortford Fields. He called on arrival as we were at work, explaining what he was there to do. He even rang to check if he was ok to go upstairs. Very polite, and did a great job on a few odd jobs that needed doing.

Thanks to Paul & Geoff no.1 for their efforts today in sorting my door out, very professional experience and really nice guys.

This housing development is building in my area the staff are disrespectful as they play the radio way too loud whilst people are working from home , which was a lovely quite neighbourhood before Persimmon homes bought the land and brought in their construction workers ! The workers have foul mouths and have no respect or concern for the neighbourhood . The way they have constructed the houses I wouldn’t buy one highly unprofessional behaviour and cheaply built houses from bob the builder !

Had Cookie attend our house for some paint work and fitting our new bath panel. Done a brilliant job with the paintwork and the bath panel is now fit as it should. Great bloke and great service!

Glynn was very nice and attentive to his work. Very hard working. Cleaned up after himself.

Paul was very calm and nice. He was also very diligent in his work.

Barry was very lovely and great at his job. He was very professional and respectful.His job was very satisfactory.

Michael did a great job

Shoddy workmanship throughout. Its cost us so much money to get the house properly damp proofed (we were out of the warranty). The previous owner didn't live in the new house so no snags were chalked up. We've had to replace both outside doors. Put in by builders not door people. Draughty and letting in rain. Our neighbours have all had tge same problem. Walls not prepared before painting therefore new emulsion comes off with the thin plaster. Stud nails on show on the walls. Damp proofing was 12 inches short on other sides of a corner letting in rain constantly. This required an independent builder to take it apart and re-proof it. Also meaning new indoor plaster had to be done. Don't spend your money on this inferior house builder.

William was absolutely brilliant, really helpful and did a great job on the painting.
