Poor condition of package at arrival …
Everything was smooth and acceptable except the condition of the contents at delivery. The package was reinforced but arrived damaged with the contents exposed and damaged. The recipient accepted it as delivered and completed necessary repairs.

Im marking you 5 stars for doing your part, although Im not happy with your carrier.
I'm marking you 5 stars just for BikeFlights part in the process. The carrier smashed the box really hard and then inflated the cost because the bulge technically made the box bigger and pushed it into the balloon rate. UPS (or whoever their carrier is) now wants $145 more. BikeFlights offered to take care of half of the upcharge as a one time courtesy, which is very nice and commendable. However, it still doesn't make up for the upcharge from the carrier that shouldn't exist nor the disregard they had for the expensive bike in the box that I trusted them with.

Very happy I found Bikeflights
Very happy I found Bikeflights! From pre-purchase questions to delivery tracking I had great support -H/t Patricia. The box was delivered when estimated. It was constructed a bit different than in the video but easy enough to adjust to. We were packing a size large Giant e-bike and decided to ship the front wheel separately as it added too much bulk - crank removal would have changed that. No biggie. We used pipe insulation and wrap foam for padding. I used filament packing tape for additional strength along each fold line inside and added additional cross braces inside with rolled cardboard. The bike shipped quickly from MN to FL in 3 days and arrived with the box mostly undamaged and intact. Bikeflights shipping label cost was well below retail estimates.
