Awful cheap and highly scented

Awful cheap and highly scented . ALL OF IT. The foot range is rubbish..honestly it could have come from China..but wait, it already does. It’s never been great quality but now it’s the worst. Avoid

Terrible Delivery, Practically Scammed

Absolutely terrible. Paid extra for next day delivery (work days only) on the weekend and my package did not arrive on Monday. What a scam.

Edit (Wednesday 6th September): I am still waiting for my package. Like I have said, I paid an extra £4 for next day delivery and my package has not been delivered even after 5 days.

Poor range of products now.

I've used Avon since the 1980s and will always be a huge fan.
Unfortunately the range of products has really declined, they seem to be focusing on high end expensive make up rather than the affordable range they previously stocked. Not only the make-up but the range of products overall has just really declined.

Honestly, it's really not my go to shop for make-up anymore because it's so limited and the prices are just too much.
They're quick to deliver though and it's always well packaged.... Just wish it was still how it used to be.

Please have reviews on your website

I've recently been using some Avon supreme oils shampoo I bought a couple of years ago. I'd been using bedhead products and when they ran out started using the Avon again.
It's been really good on my coloured, thick, dry hair. I still use the bedhead conditioner.
I also returned to using an Avon serum and that's been working well too.
I decided to buy some more Avon products and this is where the problem is.
They don't have the supreme oils shampoo on their website. There's a few other types of shampoo. I've been looking for descriptions to try and work out which would be the nearest product.
Under descriptions it says there are reviews, but when you click no reviews are shown.
I've looked at a few different products and no reviews are available for any of them.
I always rely on reviews for any skincare, beauty or hair products but with none available it's very frustrating.
I've had to go onto the Amazon site as they are selling Avon products and have reviews. Unfortunately there are either no written reviews or only a couple, for the products I was considering.
It's pretty disappointing to be unable to find much out about any of the products.
Customers shouldn't have to do research on other sites to find reviews about their products. If you aren't going to have reviews at least have more detailed descriptions.

As Rep I tried to log in to my account…

As Rep I tried to log in to my account and the are blocked it. I tried to call them but I won’t get any help. I tried to text them but no answer. I sent 2 different emails to my contacts and I got back an email they are blocked me. I need to beg to them if I want shopping from them. It is a joke…

Ordered some Avon for me and a friend of my rep should have come I think on the 8 th of may still not heard anything been having Avon for years don't know what has happened to my rep as no contact disgusting want be ordering again gave this a few weeks but still nothing

On my credit score

I was an Avon rep some time ago but quit because there is no money to be made.

Sadly Avon has cropped back into my life now that I’m looking for a mortgage and my credit shows an outstanding payment.
I was not made aware of this and sadly until this is resolved and proven that I paid, I cannot get a home.

Appalling service

Appalling service. Don't waste your time or money. Placed order 23rd April 2023 but it never turned up. Emailed Avon 3 times (even CC'd their UK chief executive in my last email!) but absolutely no acknowledgement or contact from them. Finally managed to speak to someone today and request a refund, which will take 3-5 working days. Think I'll stick with Oriflame!

Don’t waste your time or money

Don’t waste your time or money. I placed an order, money was debited from my account but was subsequently told that the order hadn’t gone through and I’d have to re-order. Utter sham of a website and customer service.

New Customer lost immediately.
I thought I would give Avon a go as they seemed to have some nice things at reasonable prices and I had a couple of birthdays to find gifts for. Spent about £40 and 12 days later I still hadn't received my parcel. Looked on the website and it was supposed to be delivered by Evri but it said it had been stuck at their depot. Still nothing for days and eventually I check back to find it has been sent back to Avon - no explanation or notification. Meanwhile I have missed both birthdays that I bought presents for and had to go out and buy more. I tried to get hold of customer services to be given some useless bot that kept giving me Parcelforce's number when I was talking about Evri. The next day I managed to speak to an actual human from a call centre where there was screaming and laughing in the background. The rep sounded as if she couldn't give a fig what had happened to my parcel and then remarked - it's been sent back to us because it's damaged, but no apology for any inconvenience. Do I want another parcel sent out or a refund?- Yep I'll be taking my refund thanks (although I'll have to wait days to get it) and I won't be back - not that I think Avon will be the least bit bothered; but judging by the similar experiences on here - they should be.

Ordering online deliveries made with Evri (Hermes) so good luck with getting your package intact and on-time.

From America, now live in UK, can't find a reliable rep to order from so have to order online. I only order their Skin So Soft oil. In the States you can buy it in a huge bottle but it only comes in tiny ones over here and only as a dry oil as opposed to the bath oil, which I prefer. The problem is orders only come using Evri (Formerly Hermes) which has lost my items, delivered my packages to the wrong house and denied it (I know this because weeks later I had a man show up to my house from another zip code with my item), and thrown them in my garden without knocking the door or putting a missed notification through the mail slot, even though I am always home. My latest delivery yesterday was given to the neighbor, even though my husband and I were both home. I was able to run out and have him get it back from the neighbour but the box was completely open. Nothing was missing which is why this is a 3 star, not a 1 star review.

Avon new customer Order

As a new customer I placed an order for goods, £30.50. Tried applying the 10 % discount code. Kept saying invalid code or not available yet. Rang Avon line busy. What's apped them,. Computer didn't understand my message. Messaged on FB, no response. Rang again spoke to Advisor who requested that I take photos of the problem and What's app it to them. Did all that. Robot Messaged back saying, you need human, message "Agent" Have done that and noone has has got back to me. I'm cancelling my order. Not a Happy Easter Bunny !! 😞

Love Avon love life Vonderful

I am a guy and a representative and I love Avon they have helped me in my personal life by giving me access to products and a life I would not have had if I had not signed up to be a representative and I am truly thankful for them. The Avon business is reflected in their 125 or so year history. The products I try are awesome and have helped with my personal health and lifestyle. I do not know what all the bad reviews are about considering Avon advocate so many great causes. Having a great omni channel business is amazing and Avon accommodate for so many people. Considering that there is so much discrimination against women in the labour market I feel proud to be a man working with Avon and would encourage anyone thinking of doing just to even empower themselves to give it a go you will not regret it. Avon have rarely let me down being a distance based selling company they have gone above and beyond nobody is perfect but Avon if ordering for yourself or if you are thinking of joining I would encourage you to have a look into Avon

Will never spend a penny with this company ....
My mother was a Avon rep for well over 25 years never missed a bill she sadly died ..so we checked with everything with her estate and she hadn't paid acouple of bills...we called them they expressed their sadness...we explained that we were going through all her paper work and to give us time as her funds were obviously tied up 1 month later we got an lawyers letter demanding the account be settled and they had checked her estate and she had plenty money to cover the debt ...absolute lies as my mother did not have anything in her account and the house was in my father's name and he was very much alive ...absolute horrible company 25 years my mother devoted her time and they barely gave 25 day to settle things ....it was paid after they were told to back off by our lawyer every piece of Avon product my mum had in her house was binned

Lectured on 'diversity' over product unviewable on dark model.

Loyal customer for decades - now EX customer. All I wanted was to buy an eyeshadow crayon, they came in brown colours. However the model they used was the darkest of black ladies. The colours all looked the same! Page 29 catalogue 3 if you want to see my predicament. Upon suggesting to Avon logical ways to illustrate colours I received the most condescending lecture on respecting people of colour, LBGT+, faiths and neurodiversity (?). When you want to promote a colour you don't hide it! To be fair I said to them similarly you wouldn't use a girl with straight blonde hair to advertise a hair product for Afro hair or a skinny man to model a 44E cup bra! What has religion or sexual orientation got to do with a brown eye pencil? This boring, woke 'diversity' obsession that makes these sheep feel superior has lost them a life-long customer. They have offended me for having a light complexion and it saddened me to have to say "goodbye" to my Avon Lady who is a lovely lady & had done nothing wrong. See how counter productive this diversity-gone-insane is and the upset it causes.

Free bug with every purchase...?

I bought some pillow mist and on transferring it to a nicer bottle noticed a dead bug was floating in it!!
Tried contacting Avon which seems to be difficult process in itself....but dinally WhatsApp someone who basically said there is a shelf life and can't guarantee product quality!! I mean come on!? I am not asking for it to smell as fresh as day one if I use expired products that's on me, but don't tell me this bug was meant to be in there or only got died once the product expired.
