Great Apartment
Location is perfect. Even though we were right in the middle of everything, you didn’t hear all the noise. I loved not having a window in the bedroom, I slept so good being in the dark. I didn’t like that the ironing board was broke. I had to iron our clothes on the floor. It would have been great to have more towels. I take 2 showers a day and I had to re-use a wet dry towel. There was only 1 towel per person.

The house was enough room for my family very clean but we had a water leak from the upstairs bathroom water was coming down on to the kitchen counter we could not use that bathroom and we had bad WiFi tv outside did not work and limited access in the house we were too far from our home we had to stay and make the best of it

The place was very nice but I gave it a 3 star because the dishwasher was not working and we found a pair women's dirty panties in the bathroom. They did offer to remove them and disinfect the area but we had already taken c/o it.

The heated pool was a great add on especially due to the weather. Definitely saved our weekend from being stuck inside. The bar area was super nice. We had a great time at this place and would definitely come back again. The house was very nice and comfortable. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed for cooking. The house is great for 2 couples. There is plenty of places to sit and to hang out. We loved the jacuzzi and that is across the street from the bay.
The only downside is there is only one bathroom
Place is clean and beds are comfortable! We really enjoyed the house.

Great Stay - plenty of space
The mgmt company was very responsive. The soaps, shampoos, starter kits were very helpful. Location is up and coming and a quick Uber ride to Broadway. We had two families and plenty of room to spread out. Walgreens was right across the street and Kroger a block or two away. There was a farmers market you can walk to for coffee and other items in the morning. The unit had a nice supply of dishes/pots and pans. The beds were comfortable with clean white sheets and duvet covers. The unit is 3 stories - with all bedrooms on the second or third floor.

Beautiful home with a pool and pier was top tier.
The house was so beautiful and fit perfectly my family of six. We really needed a home away from home and thats exactly what this home provided. Pool and with a pier was top tier. Both myself and my kids who are all water kids and my husband/kids are all fishing junkies. Definitely will be coming back for another get away.

Great house! Description of rooms is incorrect.
We traveled with another couple to celebrate our anniversary. We had a great time and the house was beautiful. It very clean, well decorated, and smelled wonderful! The beds were comfy and there were amble linens. The house is very livable! Great beach access and just a short drive to town.
I would have given it five stars except for the fact that I chose it because it is advertised as having two king beds, one queen bed, and six singles. Since there were only two couples that would have given us each a king bed. The house actually has two queens and one king. When I reached out, I was immediately responded to by the national team. I was disappointed that the local team that is familiar with the house never reached out to me to discuss the situation. My only other comment would be that it takes forever to get hot water in the bathrooms and the pressure in the showers is very low.
I did check before writing this review and the description still indicates two king beds. So, if you are looking for two kings, I’d recommend reaching out to them before booking. I would not have booked if I’d known there were not two kings.

The unit was so big and nice. The view from the balcony and master bedroom was awesome! Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and small appliances. The only thing that needs improvement is the washer and dryer unit. It squeaked loudly when washing. A very pleasant stay. Hated the week went by so fast!

Security lapse
My family and I recently rented Always Sunny in Port Aransas, TX. We expected quiet and peaceful enjoyment of the rental during our stay.
Unfortunately, a neighbor repeatedly came onto the property without permission and attempted to engage with us on multiple occasions. One night around 11:00 PM, the neighbor triggered our security porch light. When I opened the front door, I discovered him standing in our yard with his dog, only about five feet from the stairs leading to the entrance. This behavior was highly inappropriate and concerning, particularly because the neighbor knew the unit was occupied by renters.
I promptly reported the incident to AvantStay after our return. While they thanked me for bringing the matter to their attention, they have not proposed any corrective actions to prevent this from recurring for future guests, nor have they followed up since their initial email response. It appears the issue is not being taken seriously.
A simple and effective solution — such as installing a “No Trespassing” sign and sending a warning letter to the neighbor — could easily prevent similar incidents and help ensure a safe, private experience for all future renters, including us.
