We were served by Kata in Madrid who was incredibly helpful and really sweet

The customer service provided by Cerys was excellent, they really spent the time to help me and supported with reaching a resolution after I sadly lost my original bracelet. Really grateful for their help.

I got ears pierced by Meg at Fenwicks in Newcastle. She’s so lovely, signed the consent forms and made sure I had some food. There’s a little room in the back where they do it for more privacy and she couldn’t be any nicer! 10/10

Piercing was good but post fell out within a few days. When asked to send out a replacement, because I live a long way from store, this was refused. After care not good enough.

My new obsession, love the pieces I’ve gotten so far.. and so far so good.. I’ve seen the bad reviews however nothing has broken or tarnished for me as of yet.. so very pleased. Love the rewards/ points system as well

I have now had two piercings with Astrid & Miyu and each time I have had a great experience. The staff are very knowledgeable, friendly, and advise on what is best for you. I love both my earrings and I love the professional advice I was given I would definitely recommend them. The staff are second to none and make you feel very important

As a Gold Status member I was unable to use my Birthday Voucher online when queried was informed by A&M Customer Services team they can only be used in store for tattoos and piercings and told me mine had expired as they only last one month, not one year like points.(can not find this on website) I didn’t want those services and found this really frustrating that you cannot use it on Jewellery. Expressed my concern with CS with no reply. I decided to test code again online in shop it will in fact redeem but only on expensive solid gold items. A&M Members pls bear this in mind when you receive your voucher. A&M what the heck!! Please be transparent…

Everyone was so helpful and kind, not to mention Kay finished the peircing incredibly fast. Wonderful experience and very happy with the result :)

I had my forward helix pierced on 21/05/2026. It was painful for a number of days and wasn't improving, I have another cartilage piercing so I knew something wasn't right.

I booked to see an apporved piercer in Cardiff to get it checked. He had to take it out because it was pierced too close to my face. It wasn't free to move and the piercing hole was actually stretching, so the hole wasn't round. The back was digging in too. It was actually so badly placed at such a horrible angle he had to use a tool to remove it and it bled quite a lot.

I complained and received an automated response, along with all the silly emojis suggesting I book an appointment to get it checked. I will never book another appointment here again.

I replied and got "Piercing placements are normally approved by yourself and the piercer at the time of the appointment"

What position am I in to approve a piering location? I'm someone off the street. They are supposed to be trained?

I find this quite insulting since if I hadn't got it sorted by a professional it could have let to scarring. I wasn't compensated for the pain I had experienced.

There are certified "approved piercers" out there. Put that in your favorite search engine.
Look for a professional and they look at your anatomy properly, and will give you proper aftercare too. It might be a bit more expensive but it is well worth going to see someone who knows what they're doing and is actually looking out for your welfare.

At a minimum go on forums like reddit and look for advice from approved piercers. There are also reviews on Astrid and Miyu on reddit so well worth a read.

I was really excited to receive the cosmic star band ring in gold as a gift as I had been eying this up for so long! I recieved this at Christmas and in-spite me following the guide lines and regularly cleaning I am really disappointed that it has lost all of its colour. I realise gold plating does not last forever but 5 months is ridiculous!
In the same gift I recieved the snake bracelet and this was so flimsy on the clasp that it has snapped, looks gorgeous really poor quality!
I contacted astrid and Miyu to be told to clean it and get back to them, which I have and recieved no response. Really disappointed.

me and two of my friends all got our helix peirced at the oxford street selfridges store a few weeks ago. (sorry kept forgetting to leave a review!!) but we were very well looked after from start to finish by Courtney and the rest of the team were lovely. Courtney was very welcoming and made sure we were all comfortable getting our ears pierced. she talked us through every step and it really did make the difference. bearing in mind we were all slightly nervous we all left very happy! the process was very quick and we were given detailed instructions on how to look after our piercings. I can confirm that after 3 weeks my peircing is still all good and is healing well! thank you so much!
