I recently used a bookkeeping firm for…

I recently used apparatus team llc firm for my business needs, and I have to say that I was thoroughly disappointed with the service provided. The promises they made were completely fake, and they didn't have enough staff to keep up with the workload. As a result, it took weeks to get even the simplest things done.

I was initially drawn to this bookkeeping firm because of the promises they made. They assured me that they would provide top-notch service and that I would always be their top priority. However, once I signed up with them, it became evident that these were just empty promises.

There is very long wait times for responses to emails and phone calls, and even longer wait times for work to be completed. It was frustrating to have to wait for weeks just to get something as simple as a bank reconciliation done.

To make matters worse, the quality of work was subpar. It seemed like they were rushing to get things done, and as a result, mistakes were made. This resulted in even more delays and time wasted trying to correct their errors. I have also dealt with different bookkeepers, it looks like staff are leaving this company and not only clients.

Overall, I was extremely dissatisfied with the bookkeeping firm. The promises they made were completely false. They are unable to deliver quality work in a timely manner. I would not recommend this firm to anyone looking for reliable bookkeeping services.

Construction "Consultant" Accounting Firm

I am beyond disappointed with this company and its services. They claim to have been a specialized accounting consultant for construction companies. However, when they set up our company books they did a horrible job. They did not properly set up retention accounts, they did not breakout payroll records into the various chart of accounts and just threw the invoices into one category. They recommended a transition of our company books from QB Desktop to QBO. They did not properly do the transition. We hired an outside CPA and was given the following info on Apparatus's work on our account, "A company cannot just start using QBO without bringing over beginning balances of all balance sheet accounts and profit and loss accounts, in a methodical way. Otherwise the information for the year is inaccurate. Information must be journaled in as of 12/31/18 as to match to your tax return (otherwise your tax returns won’t be accurate) and when doing a mid-year conversion, information must be manually put in as of the cut-off date during the year (otherwise you are missing an complete year when running reports). This is typically done prior to using the new software which was not done in this case. This critical step of entering the historical summary data was missed, therefore your QBO file is missing the data from the first half of the year such as : open invoice balances in A/R, bank account and all loans, equity, et al. This information has to be entered to have a complete and accurate set of books. Two adjustments were made to be able to reconcile the beginning balance on the bank account and credit cards, however, the adjustments have no details and is not split among the proper general ledger accounts. Without the history entered and reconciled, you cannot rely on this as a complete set of books for any purpose." When this was brought to their attention, they blamed us and said that we asked for this level of service. I would not trust this company with your accounting needs. You will wind up requiring another accounting firm and or CPA to come clean up the mess they left behind.
