Administrators

This company was hired as administrators in the invictus capital case. The way the have handled the case is absolutely atrocious. They not only managed to lose 99% of the remaining funds they were meant to administer they have also held onto the investors money now for over 2 years and not once met any promise or timeline they have made in that time. They will not distribute the minute amount of funds back to the investors as promised and continue to hold onto this mo ey for their own benefit whilst continuing to break deadlines and mishandle the entire operation absolutely disgracefully they way the have handled and completely unprofessional

Using unscrupulous debt collection partners

Alvarez and Marsal(A+M) are the administrators for the defunct electricity company Utility Point(UP) who I was a customer of before they went bust. A+M have appointed debt recovery agency Baratt Smith and Brown(BSB) to recover any money owed by former customers of UP. I dont owe UP anything having left them 6 months before they went bust.

BSB have intermittently harrased me over the last 6-12 months firstly for a debt of 90p and then changed their minds and started claiming the debt was for £50ish. I assume A+M have negligently given the figures to BSB without checking the details or reveiwing my closed account.

It's very unprofessional how Alvarez and Marsal seem to have operated and that they have chosen a debt collection agency without checking how they operate.

Slow to complete the insolvency process

As insolvency practitioners Alvarez and Marsal are particularly slow to complete the process.

As a creditor I have been owed money for over 9 months now and am still awaiting payment. This is affecting my own cash flow and no doubt countless others also.

Alvarez and Marsal clearly need to allocate more resources to complete this particular insolvency within and acceptable timeframe.
