Unfortunately, this delivery was an absolute mess from start to finish.
Initially, I received a link with advance information stating that the delivery would be carried out by two people and that the item would be delivered to my apartment. Based on this, I provided all relevant delivery details.
About 15 minutes before arrival, the driver called and asked me to come down to the street. When he arrived, it turned out he was alone, despite the prior announcement of a two-person delivery. This is obviously not workable for a washer/dryer combo weighing close to 100 kg and needing to be carried up several flights of stairs.
The driver unloaded the machine and asked me to sign for the delivery while it was still standing in the middle of the road. I refused and explained I would only sign once the machine was safely inside my apartment. He then told me that delivery to the apartment was not possible because he was on his own and drove away with the machine.
Shortly after, while I was on the phone with the seller, the driver rang my doorbell again. I was handed a phone and spoke to someone from the delivery company, who explained that the second delivery person had allegedly called in sick. While that can happen, it should not become the customer’s problem.
I was then asked if I could help carry the machine upstairs myself. Given that I needed the machine and did not want to restart the entire delivery process days later, I reluctantly agreed. After several confusing phone calls in another language and being passed around to different supervisors, the outcome was always the same: no second person, and I had to help.
The driver had no proper equipment (e.g. carrying straps), making the process unsafe and extremely difficult. During the struggle, the barcode was damaged and could not be scanned, which led to further delays, with me having to help translate between the driver and his company to manually confirm delivery.
In the end, I paid for a service I largely had to perform myself. The driver even stated that they are “almost never” two people on deliveries, which strongly suggests this is a cost-saving measure at the expense of customers.
Completely unprofessional, poorly organized, and unacceptable for heavy-item delivery. I would not use this delivery company again.

The delivery was announced from 2 to 7…
The delivery was announced from 2 to 7 PM, at around 5 pm the driver was 10 minutes away nobody showed up! No notifications! The morning I received a mail that the delivery was successful at 11:15 PM the last day. At the end no delivery was carried out. When I called the logistics Center they had to check their system and then they informed me that the driver didn’t do the delivery.
1 spent the whole day at home for nothing thank you for that! Now they will deliver it on Saturday.

Very excellent delivery service. I loved the fact that I was taken through the whole delivery process. My work schedule is really tight and I normally miss my deliveries from other companies because they don’t indicate anything regarding delivery date or time . So I was so glad AIT got me involved in the delivery times so I could be home to pick my package.
