AGS Solutions - Worst removal experience ever
AGS Solutions outsourced the move to a company called Friendly Movers. Friendly Movers did a rushed job despite us paying for two days to pack, move and unpack everything (moving from one house to another house three streets away). They did not take care to pack things carefully and caused a lot of damage as a result. They also drove into the wall with the neighbours and promised to have it fixed but then sent the removal men themselves to fix including to fix the electrics in the wall. We made a claim under the insurance and they did everything to try and negotiate the amount of the claim despite the item being a full write off and there being a clean insured value under the policy. They still have not paid. Do not trust these people. Friendly Movers also did not label properly the boxes and dumped them at the property leaving themselves in a situation that they could not unpack and we could not direct where the boxes were meant to go. Hence we moved boxes to different floors afterwards ourselves and had to unpack a lot ourselves.

We note the reply below. Unfortunately, the facts stated in your reply are incorrect. The additional damaged items were notified to you by email on 7 August, within the ten day deadline. On the same date we requested to make a complaint and it took until 7 Sept to receive the details of your complaints department to allow us to make a complaint. On 7 Sept a formal complaint was made in writing which also re-lists the damaged items so not on 30 October as you try to hold out. You further state that the wall is the wall of our neighbour and that a handyman was sent to repair. Unfortunately, this is incorrect. This is the common wall between the properties and the very men that carried out our removal came themselves to repair the wall and electrics rather than a qualified and properly insured builder (and electrician as we had been promised by email would be the case) and you now are still asking me to take responsibility for that repair by asking me to sign a waiver of rights against you?
You further claim that the insurance company has offered full compensation for the damaged table. Can you confirm then please why we have not been paid given the claim was made in August and we signed the waiver of rights against AXA and Willis Towers Watson on 30 October? You are deliberately blocking us from being paid by trying to force us to waive all rights against you. It is unethical. And this is after you first tried it on to have us sign settlement agreements for significantly lower amounts than the insured value for which we paid insurance for months and without any explanation.
You then refer to the discharge form signed on 11 Aug. For the record, that is the date on which the Friendly movers removal men themselves came to repair the wall and electrics (after we notified you on 7 Aug of the other damaged items) and they “quickly” had to get a piece of paper signed on our drive way while repairing the wall. This doesn’t mean the items notified to you were no longer broken…
Instead of spending your efforts managing your social media profile, you could provide more proper customer service.

Inconvenient and disappointing
In September of last year, we made the significant move from Kenya to the UK. Unfortunately, our shipping, which arrived at the end of October 2024, brought with it some disappointments, as certain items were found to be broken upon arrival. In response, we promptly submitted a claim to our insurance company.
Regrettably, despite the passage of time, which now extends to January 2024, we have yet to receive any communication regarding the status of our claim. Each time we inquire about the matter, we are met with excuses from the staff, citing reasons such as personnel turnover within the company. This lack of transparency and accountability is disheartening.
The latest update we received was on January 9th, wherein we were assured that an email had been sent to the Claims Team, urging them to provide us with an update promptly. However, since then, we have heard nothing further, leaving us in a state of frustration and uncertainty.
It is disconcerting that, despite our timely payment to AGS Kenya to facilitate the shipment of our goods, we find ourselves in a situation where the level of service falls short of our expectations. Having paid for insurance, we anticipated being kept informed about the progress of our claim. The realization that our modest claim is met with such negligence raises concerns about how the company handles more substantial claims.
The need for continuous follow-ups on our part is both inconvenient and disappointing. It is disheartening to be compelled to pursue updates actively instead of receiving proactive communication. We are left deeply dissatisfied with the current state of affairs and hope for a resolution that reflects the professionalism and responsibility we expected when entrusting our belongings to this service.

Worst team I've ever seen.
We moved from Qatar to London last September. We met with many companies during the moving phase, and although it was the most expensive among them, we decided to move forward with AGS because they also have offices in London. The process went very smoothly in Qatar. The items were packaged very well. The transportation team was very polite and professional. But when it came to London AGS, things suddenly changed. First of all, the arrival of the items changed 3 times a day, but we did not mind this much. Last time, they informed us of the situation by e-mail in the evening, and no matter how many times we called, they did not answer their phone, and this is how the communication problems started. We reached out every one we could and finally managed to schedule a day for the items to be moved. Moving day was a nightmare. The team that came was very rude. They did their best not to carry the belongings. Their only concern was to finish the work and go home. They left some of the belongings outside, saying that they could not pass through the stairs. Because it was raining on them, the furniture left outside swelled the next day and we had to throw them all away. I have moved to many cities so far and have used AGS many times before. but London AGS was the worst team I have ever seen or heard of.

Absolutely shocking
Absolutely shocking! Please don’t use this company. My son’s ps5 was stolen and we have proof it was used in the UK while our belongings were meant to be in storage. They will not help us or compensate us. We are missing several boxes. What I would like to know is where are they????!!! Stay well clear of this company.

Late delivery, no responsibility
They have promised to make an international transfer in 20 days. So far it has been 45 days and they do not take any responsibility. Never trust them unless you have a fix delivery date under the contract. Do not forget to add compensation unless the goods are not delivered on time. This is not a company you can trust

Moved from Belgium to Southern France with them.
Nobody seems to be aware of what should happen. Moving crew and driver are not able to communicate due to a language barrier. They treat your belongings uncarefully.
After delivery we noticed we have about € 10.000 of damaged goods. Let's see how we will be compensated. But I am anticipating a long and hard struggle.

Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience. We hired the AGS to move intercontinentally. Having had experience with other movers before, we selected AGS for its seemingly professional international profile. 1) The packers did an awful job. We had packed some things in advance - they unpacked that and repacked everything - making a complete mess of the stuff. Books were forced into boxes they didn’t fit (damaging them), pieces of the same item packed in different boxes (splitting pairs of shoes, kids puzzle pieces ripped open and carelessly shoved into separate boxes). 2) When it came to unpacking the result was seven worse. Not only (probably because of bad packing) stuff was difficult to locate but the unpackers left us with furniture items unassembled (e.g. one leg of a lamp put in one room, kitchen items scratched because metal forks were thrown into them with no care or attention), screws from new boxed items lost as these items were taken out of the boxes and just left I assembled on the floor). At the end we had to go through the boxes in the trash to find left over items that weren’t even unpacked and thrown away by the movers! 3) The final blow was finding out a very valuable item went missing (stolen either during packing or unpacking). CONTACTED AGS on this - they didn’t even bother honouring us with a response. 3) Management-wise this had a very unprofessional feel as well - throughout the entire process the company attempted to make us pay costs that were not our responsibility (some bank fees they incurred from their own bank, issues the had with an intermediary company they contracted and chose themselves). All of this (coupled with communication problems) resulted in delays in delivery (and just demonstrated very unprofessional profile of the company overall. 4) The tracking system worked only partially and communication was often unnecessarily delayed. Not recommending and will never use AGS again if we can help it.

AGS replied to me in a rather arrogant way, (again a pile of piffle) (below) is inaccurate, I took the company to Small Claim Court here in UK and YES I HAVE WON MY COMPENSATION AS ORIGINALLY ASKED AGS for it, but they kept writing a pile of piffle ....the simple matter is that they did not take due care of my goods and broke all the European Trading Standards Laws hence why I had the case agreed in my favour. As I said before and I am not alone here on Trustpilot, give this company a wide , very wide berth, if you don't want to have your goods stolen and damaged.....
PS Not sure why they are bringing the cost in their reply as I never queried the cost

Your shipment of 4.5 cbm was part of a groupage( as opposed to a SOLO container, which is much more expensive), which means the container must be full before been sent, this explains the delay. The delivery documents you signed did not mention any wet boxes, and unfortunately mold and mildew is excluded from the insurance you have subscribed. Additionally, no mention of missing boxes was ever done, nor on your claim form, nor in any of your exchanges with the insurers. We therefore regret to inform you your claim is not validated by any evidence and effectively, you have the right to initiate any recourse you may deemed necessary. Have a nice day.

We had a very good experience with AGS. We moved from South Africa to Spain and had problems with the company in SA but Andrei tried to help us as much as he could. Also that the team that unloaded the container and brought it to our house was great! We definitely recommend AGS! Thank you so much for all your help!

Missing box
We realised, when opening the boxes, that one was not ours. So one of our boxes was missing. We have contact AGS but they couldn't find it. They sent us the insurance form, we filled it and never had a feedback. It passed 6 months now and we still have someone's box with memory staffs. We asked AGS to collect it, but nothing... is difficult for us to just put it on the trash... they don't care.
So if you have a missing box with LP discs, a bible, record tapes, a E.T. toy... please send me a msg.

A two sided story
My experience with AGS has two sides. From the US side, it left much to be desired. They were very attentive and communicative until they locked in on a contract and had my money. After that, I did not hear from them unless I initiated contact, or to succinctly notify me of yet another delay... When questioned about one delay after another, they were not nice or kind in giving vague explanations. When I pushed a little more, I was asked if I just wanted to terminate the whole contract! Of course, I could not at that point. They misplaced paperwork, requested documents from me multiple times, and did not seem to be communicating with each other. Not highly recommended at all.
On the Spanish side, my story was exactly the opposite! I could not have received better, kinder help. Communication was regular, and I always knew where my belongings were and the exact cause of any delays. I was provided with all forms in a timely manner and guided through completing them, clearly and concisely. Once my vessel docked, my belongings were delivered to me promptly ( after requiring double handling) and with the utmost care and consideration. Not a single item in my entire container was damaged in any fashion! Amazing. I cannot say enough great things about Sebastian and his handling of my delivery on this side. His delivery crew were also top notch. Very professional, happy, and friendly! I would recommend AGS Spain any and every time!
