"Thank you for reaching out to Gosselin. Our moving teams are handling your request and will contact you as soon as possible." It is now the 4th of March, and NOTHING. I wrote a week ago asking why the delay, I am still waiting 4 a reply to my question. If this is being professional, I say STAY AWAY FROM THESE PROFESSIONALS.

I was lucky enough to be recommended to Gosselin for my move from New York City to Marseille France. From my first encounter with the move manager in the United States I could tell it was going to be a good experience. She was not only friendly and helpful, but extremely professional, answered all my questions, volunteered information. I didn’t even know I needed and generally made a complicated situation much less stressful. The team that came to my apartment to pack all of my belongings was incredible. They worked efficiently and again, very professionally. In a matter of just a few hours, the team had all of my things wrapped, including rugs and furnishings for the long sea voyage to Marseille. On the other end in France, things were just as expert. Again, the move manager was able to answer all of my questions and provide me with information that made everything a lot less stressful. And again the team that unloaded my belongings was amazing. Of course I brought too much crap, but nonetheless, they unwrapped it all, emptied the boxes, put things where I wanted them and removed all the debris. Not only did the teams on both sides of the Atlantic do their jobs expertly. They were a pleasure to work with. Everyone was friendly and helpful. For a complicated move like this one I would highly recommend Gosselin to anyone.

Gosselin Moving lost 3 of our boxes during transportation of all our goods, some of the items in the boxes were sentimental family items that are irreplaceable. I tried to contact my moving manager about it, he said that I must now deal with the insurance provider and has not replied to any of my emails after. I would not recommend this company at all.

Very responsive, cordial customer service. Household items arrived from US to Italy within the approximate timeframe and all arrived in good condition. I was notified via email when the items arrived at the Port and also, I was notified of the date and time the trucking company delivered. Satisfied with this company.

Extremely disappointing experience with Gosselin Moving.
I contracted a full door-to-door international shipment of 11 motorcycles from Europe to US expecting a professional and transparent service. Instead, I was met with a series of surprise charges after the shipment arrived in the U.S., including:
• Over $4,000 for uncrating, even though their own salesperson assured me uncrating was included in the original quote;
• Over $2,400 in storage fees, despite delays caused by their lack of coordination;
• An additional $1,300 inspection fee — none of which were disclosed up front.
When I raised concerns, responses were delayed, inconsistent, and contradictory. I have call logs and written records proving I tried to contact them and provided the delivery address in time — they simply didn’t follow up.
To make matters worse, their communications claim neither they nor I accept the charges, yet I’m still being told to pay Paxton (their U.S. partner) directly. It feels like a complete lack of accountability, and frankly, I feel misled and taken advantage of.
I’m now forced to consider legal and regulatory action just to get what I already paid for.
If you value clear agreements, transparency, and basic professionalism — look elsewhere.

During our moving from Abu Dhabi to Hamburg, we got our bed mattress and swing chair shipped separately since they didn't fit into the container. The local company in UAE worked with Gosselin Moving in Europe for this shipment.
First, I was asked to pay a customs demurrage fee of 100 € due to a customs clearance issue, which was divided equally among the customers who shared the container.
I objected to the calculation since our volume share in the container was significantly low, but proceeded with the payment not to cause any delay and additional charges accordingly.
The second issue was regarding the parking permit. Loading/unloading with larger vehicles over an extended time-frame requires paid parking permit in Germany. This parking permit also depends on the size of the vehicle.
I asked few times the size of the vehicle, and Gosselin Moving confirmed that it's going to be an 18 m truck+trailer combination. Therefore, I had to pay an extra amount of 25 € for a larger parking space.
However, the items were delivered by a regular 12 m.
This additional fee occurred totally due to the inaccurate information shared by Gosselin Moving, and the customer representative refused to compensate my loss.
I expressed my disappointment to the customer representative, and told that I'm going to report it to the local agency in UAE and submit a review in common platforms. So, I wrote about my experience in Trustpilot.
Only after few days, I was called by the team manager of the customer representative whom I was in contact with. Following a sincere apology the excess amount of customs demurrage cost and more than half of the parking permit fee were reimbursed.
It was a true kind of customer-happiness-oriented approach by Gosselin Moving, following up the case, showing accountability and proceeding with the corrective action. My initial negative experience turned in to a happy ending thanks to the responsible management of Gosselin Moving.

I did not move with them, as their offering procedure and specifically the respective sales person were already a bad experience: The salesperson informed me that the procedure would be a video call rather than an in-person visit. I agreed. However, before the meeting, I received an excessive number of bothersome reminders.
I was on time, but first had to wait for the salesperson, who was late. When he finally joined, he came across as slightly domineering and did not listen much to the description I wanted to give. Instead, he first requested me to wait while he opened specific folders in his system. It then took 10 minutes to clarify the parking situation around my current home before he started asking about the parking situation at my new place. At this point, I asked him why he could not simply check Google Maps for this information.
We eventually started the actual assessment of the items to be moved, already delayed. As I showed him four posters in a small pre-entrance room, he became slightly grumpy because I had not mentioned this room (approximately 3 sqm) when he had asked for the number of bedrooms. He then started taking pictures of the four posters. I asked him if he intended to take photos of all my paintings and etchings, as I have over 100. He confirmed that everything needed to be photographed. I pointed out that this would take hours and that, due to the delays, we were already behind schedule. He simply replied, "This is how it works."
At this stage, I told him that continuing made no sense, as all other competing companies had needed less than 30 minutes for the entire assessment. However, the issue did not end there: Two days later (on a Sunday), he contacted me again via email to offer an in-person visit—though he only had a single available slot, almost two weeks later, which would have been just 10 days before the actual move.
As I had copied the CEO of Gosselin in my response, the salesperson then claimed that he had been on time and well-prepared. Unfortunately, the pictures he had taken did not record the time. Regardless, his general attitude was bossy and, quite obviously, dishonest—making it absolutely clear that I would never choose this company for my move (especially after reviewing other comments on this page).
Just to mention one positive aspect: His manager also sent an email, which was at least friendly and appreciative of my feedback. However, this intervention did not change the salesperson’s attitude in any way—he continued the conversation, even though I had already informed him that it needed to end.

The teams at both ends were great and the communication with the office was easy.
There was a minor misunderstanding regarding the parking at our home but it was quickly rectified and the team coped well. I wish all our moves had been that easy.
