Top movers! See you again

Very Professional, we used AGS to move from Singapore to Paris. We had top movers on both countries. The French team managed all the permit requirement for the street parking, they segregated the area and displayed messages 2x days before the move.
On the day of the move, we had 3x movers who explained everything on how to proceed and what we needed to check as they brought all packages inside the house. They have been very professional polite and considerate. They re-assembled all the furniture for us, helped us to unpacked boxes or brought them where we needed it to. They took out all the wrapping and boxes with them so we didn't have to manage the waste. Everything arrived in perfect condition and nothing was broken.
I would definitely recommend AGS, they do everything in house and do not use 3rd party which was reinsuring for us.
They always contacted us on time and gave clear indication on what to do and by when if we didn't want to have delay.
I will definitely use them again in a future. Thank you so much for lifting up this weight of our shoulders during this big move!

Disastrous intercontinental move

Disastrous intercontinental move. Zero clue, no pro activity, unreliable and conflicting information. 5 months shipment still ongoing. No heads up on potential challenges; running in the dark as an amateur move. Make sure you oversee the packing . So disappointed.

AGS was a most professional vendor for…

AGS was a most professional vendor for our move from Los Angeles to Paris. They organized a reliable and top-quality local mover in Los Angeles by the name of Schumacher Cargo. Schumacher made a fair estimate of the size of our move and then sent three well trained movers to pack everything. Thereafter AGS kept us regularly informed as to when our shipment would be arriving in France via cargo ship. After our shipment arrived in Le Havre, they delivered everything in Paris to our apt. on the day agreed along with two professional movers who had everything unloaded and taken up to our apt and unpacked within 2h15. I can't state how grateful we are to Stacy Tobal-Gonzolan and her team and her colleagues both in Paris and in Los Angeles. Highly recommend AGS.

AGS Lisbon is the Tops!

I have to admit that when I first went to Trust Pilot to read about AGS, I was not encouraged. I shipped my items via a US company but they needed a European partner to make delivery. This was my second shipment and the first went via a competitor company to AGS, but I have to say, the experience was good overall, so when AGS was chosen for my second shipment, I was not sure why. But AGS did a great job. They were EARLY to deliver and the crew opened every box to inspect for any damage.

We used AGS (France) to move from Normandy to Melbourne. Never again!

We used AGS (France) to move from Normandy in France to Melbourne in Australia. We have made 7 international moves in the last 20 years and this was by far the worst.
Entire boxes and pieces of furniture never arrived in Australia.
Irreplaceable items smashed, our very valuable Danish furniture was dismantled and should never have been. It’s questionable if we will ever be able to reassemble it.
The packers assumed we did not speak French and were speaking rudely about us the whole time.
At the Australian end, the delivery guys simply dumped the remaining boxes and ran for it, even though we paid extra for an unpacking services.
This is a company that should be avoided at any cost.

AGS did get in touch with us about this very poor review. They were unwilling or unable to do anything helpful and largely ignored the most damming parts of the review. They remain our worst experience by far of a moving company. We stand by our opinion to avoid them at any cost

Move to Hong Kong

I used AGS Lyon to move from France to Hong Kong. First commercial contact was good but execution was terrible. Staff are not properly trained and supervised on the job. They packed horribly (eg glass frame without protection with loose items) and did not label the boxes properly. The packing list was a joke. Above all the attitude of the staff on the job on the French side was disrespectful and totally unprofessional. The claims process was painful and inefficient. And they are not cheap!! Avoid at all costs!

First class service - highly recommended!

Highly professional service for my relocation from UK to UAE. The AGS team kept me fully informed of the process at all stages, and the packing team were friendly, considerate and diligent over the two days. Excellent support

Moving homes and countries is never easy and always stressful. Shebana La Fleurier and her team made the whole experience so much easier with their kind, professional, timely and dedicated service. I could not be more grateful. Not a single item was damaged; everything was delivered on time and as agreed; the communication was excellent. I felt my belongings were safe and cared for.

45% of negative and one star on this site should be a warning to everyone out there
Not only they steal your goods they also damage your goods and then are reluctant to pay the insurance claim, had to take them to small claim court to get my money back. BE AWARE AND STAY FARAWAY FROM THIS COMP[ANY

Just appalling

Just appalling. This company collected my personal possessions in Normandy, France to ship to Austin, US in June 2022. It is now April 2023 and my possessions still have not arrived. They price gouged me during the process, continually rising costs. I have incurred over $6k customs examination fees which I was not prepared for, or warned about by AGS. My shipment was flagged both in France and the US due to shoddy paperwork. I was not charged any duties, just thousands of dollars for customs to examine the shipment. AGS did not help me with this process, just told me to pay up and it was my responsibility. They market themselves as a stress free one stop shop. They are anything but, they took no responsibility or offered any help. Their staff are incommunicative and rude, and clearly contemptuous of their clients. I would leave zero stars. They have been a nightmare form start to finish.

Dear Mister Roberts,
Initially, your shipment was packed on 16/06/2022 and accordingly you paid a deposit of 30%. Once freight booking was confirmed, you couldn't organize payment of the 70% balance amount as you were trekking in Canada. Booking has then been cancelled. Despite multiple reminders, you never paid the balance nor storage fees incurred till end of 2022 where you were ready to resume your move. In half a year indeed, destination services costs had increased, and storage fees had accumulated. AGS reduced those costs to accommodate you, and you signed a new quote. Unfortunately, Customs in France and in the US flagged your container for inspections, incurring costs explicitly excluded from your quote and specified in the T&Cs you signed. There is no responsibility from AGS part as Customs are sovereign in their decision to select shipments for inspection. Contrary to your affirmation, AGS and our partner are assisting you, have returned the container to the shipping company to avoid additional demurrage. Nonetheless, you are responsible for the customs inspection costs and handling and storage fees will incur till payment is done in order to deliver your goods to your residence.

NOT TO BE TRUSTED AND LACK OF EXPERIENCE WITH REMOVAL OUTSIDE FRANCE

This company is not to be trusted. Before I signed the contract for moving from the south of France to Vienna, I was asked to present strange or inappropriate certificates, such as Certificat de Changement de Résidence, Certificat de non gageen cours de validité.
Demande de détaxe, Photocopie des visas.
And I was assured that all men working with the removal were employed with AGS. The day of packing a team appeared with no knowledge of french or german. Only one man talked some english. It appeared that the team belonged to a czech company. I had to help the team to charge the battery of their lorry, because they didn't want to contact ags in Toulon. Several things which should have been left in the house were packed. As scheduled the packing took two days.
However, the team worked fairly well and small objects as glasses and porcelan were well packed. Just a few pieces broken. But I'm sorry to say that several furniture had received scars. I regret that we chose to move without an insurance, because of the very high tarif.
Summarising, I do not recommend AGS!!!

As the customer service department, we would like to share with you our observations on the matter, following our internal investigation.
You mention that certain documents like ‘’Certificat de Changement de Résidence’’ were requested from you. Admittedly, collecting documents for travel or relocation can be tedious. However, this is part of the requirements as set by each country’s authorities, and not by AGS when moving abroad. Packers are trained to follow instructions on what to take or not, and it is the client’s responsibility as they are more familiar with their own items, to make sure they got it right. It is common practice within the removal industry to outsource services. We have been informed, however, that the Sales Representative indicated that AGS EUROPE would be in charge or the operation, maybe this was not clear enough, and we are sorry for the linguistic communication glitches you may have experienced, but we are happy that the overall objective of the operation was met as you highlighted it in your comments.
We thank you, hoping this will somehow bring you clarity and hope you are now nicely settled in your new residence. Have a lovely day.

AGS Trust and support

AGS handled our moving from Belgium to France in the summer 2022.
Though we experienced a complex moving with some unpredictable and unforeseen events, I must say that the customer manager we were working with has been very helpful. In particular he intervened as a last resort to defend us with the insurer who did not accept most of the claims (even though they were made in accordance with AGS observations).
We want to thank them for this support and trust.

Run as far as you can from this company !
I'm French, and I had the worst experience with AGS.

I'm from a family of movers and it's the first time I've seen this in my entire life!

It's seems that AGS don't think that I will publish all the photos and document I have about it around all the social media I can find with the logo AGS if they don't react quickly to repair the damage they did!

As you can see, it will be in English, in French but also in Spanish, in Arabic and in Chinese all the languages I can speak or that I can be help by friends ! I will also ask my friends all over the world to share it to be sure that it can not happen to anyone else !

This is the first message I'm writing since they said that they won't do anything after letters, mails for 4 months, and I won't stop until they do something !
