Hi Angela, thank you for your feedback and sorry to hear we let you down on this occasion.

We endeavour to respond to all queries within 2 working days. I can see you emailed 8 times between 17:40 on Friday and 14:44 on Saturday. For our small team it is unfortunately impossible to respond immediately, and they instead responded at the first possible opportunity on Monday (within 1 working day of your query).

It looks like your full order has now arrived and the issue has been resolved, but do let us know if we can do anything further to assist.

Apologies again for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience in this matter.

Sincerely, The Actiph Team

Hi Jason, thank you so much for this feedback, and sorry to hear your experience of our deliveries has not lived up to expectations.

This isn't at all what we expect of our delivery service. As you will hopefully have seen, we recently invested in high quality delivery packaging for our glass bottles to protect them from damage, so it's disappointing to hear this is not how they were delivered to you. I will follow up with our fulfilment partner to understand where the issues have arisen; it can sometimes be the case that couriers decant products into their own boxes if the original delivery box is damaged in transit.

In the meantime, I've taken the liberty of refunding 2 cases from your most recent order. This should reach your account relatively quickly, but please allow up to 10 working days for this to appear, just in case.

Please accept our sincere apologies again for any inconvenience and disappointment caused. We take great pride in our products and service, and are really disappointed to have fallen short here. Please do let us know if we can do anything further to assist, and many thanks again for sharing your feedback.

All the best,

The Actiph Team

EDIT - Thanks for your understanding Jason, and apologies again for any inconvenience caused. Please do let us know if you have any challenges going forward.

It's clean and refreshing most…

It's clean and refreshing most definitely, however, after some research and reading reviews, it would appear the marketing for this product is what gives it sales, due to the evolving age of information where societies are starting to see how made to purchase foods and drinks that damage out bodies overtime.
My point is I made one purchase after learning about micro plastics in water bottles, any bottles and packaging in again both food and water products and actiph is the only place I could find to buy glass bottled water from, so to understand the misleading benefits from this product due to higher claims of pH levels at the prices they sell at is upsetting. Truth is, water comes from the land that needs to be cleansed and packaged in best way for healthy beneficial human consumption so for a business to kindly collect, clean and package the water how it should be for humans but then mislead with marketing and sell over priced is upsetting. If use really cared for your customers health ' truth ' and fairness should of been at the forefront when establishing this business as clearly there's been steps in separate direction to other water brands as they do know what other water brands are really selling, therefore, I feel the marketing should of been slightly altered focusing more on the water being glassed bottled rather than it has health benefits. Having said that, the water is really refreshing, taste great and clean however, surely we can work on the price for the customers here due to this forever increasing challenging financial crisis for us all.

Thanks Danny Putman.

Hi Danny, hope you're well and thank you for sharing this feedback.

Apologies if we're misunderstanding, but we're unsure which elements of Actiph Water and its marketing you feel are misleading? If you're perhaps able to share something specific which has given you cause for concern, we can hopefully help put your mind at ease?

To (hopefully) answer some of your concerns: Actiph is made through an innovative ionisation process which elevates its pH to 9.5 at bottling. There have been multiple studies conducted that highlight the potential benefits of ionised water for physical performance, superior hydration, digestive issues etc. Many of these are reflected in customer reviews on ActiphWater.com, where our consumers relay the positive impact it has had on their lives.

Unfortunately, to produce an ionised water, like Actiph, carries significant costs - several times those of regular bottled waters - so whilst we are continually looking for ways to keep costs down and reward customers with offers and promotions, it is unfortunately impossible for us to lower prices generally and without compromising on the high quality our customers have come to expect from Actiph's products.

Many thanks again for sharing your thoughts, and hopefully we can provide some more specific reassurances in time.

All the best,
The Actiph Team

The bottle makes bold claims

The bottle makes bold claims – “supercharged to pH 9+” and “hydration to the next pH level” – but the reality is far less exciting.

Yes, it’s slightly more alkaline than normal bottled water, and it contains a sprinkle of electrolytes, but the amounts are tiny compared to what you’d get from food or a proper sports drink. Your body also regulates its own pH tightly, so drinking this won’t make you “more alkaline” or give you extra energy.

What you are really buying is well-marketed British spring water in a recyclable bottle. It’s safe and perfectly fine to drink, but don’t expect miracles – hydration is hydration, whether the label says pH 7.5 or 9+.

Good product, overhyped marketing.

Hi Pascal, thanks so much for sharing your thoughts, and for trying Actiph!

We're sorry to hear you've not necessarily felt the benefit from drinking Actiph Water. You are absolutely right, Actiph does not alter the pH of your body - no food or drink can or should! It simply provides a (rare) alkaline alternative to our overwhelmingly acidic diets. A similar effect could be achieved by eating plenty of vegetables, for example, but that can sometimes be easier said than done.

Actiph won't necessarily be for everyone, but hopefully the positive feedback from many of our consumers on their feelings of improved health & energy, or reduction in their acid reflux symptoms, can provide some reassurance that we certainly aim to be more than just nicely marketed water, and always strive to support our consumers health and wellbeing with our innovative functional drinks.

We hope you might consider picking us up again in the future, and thank you again for sharing your feedback.

The Actiph Team

I recently had a frustrating experience with my Actiph Water deliveries due to issues with their delivery partner, Yodel. My orders were either delayed or mishandled, which was disappointing given how much I enjoy their product.

However, I want to commend Actiph Water's customer service team for stepping in and addressing the problem promptly. They were understanding, responsive, and took the necessary steps to resolve the issue. Their follow-up and commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction truly stood out.

Thanks to their support and proactive approach, my trust in Actiph Water has been fully restored. I’m pleased to say everything is now back on track and I’ll continue to enjoy their refreshing alkaline water with confidence.

Great taste! Full of Energy

Great taste, clean, fresh, very smooth, evaporates off my tongue. Having experienced drinking 12 glass bottles I was surprised how easily I drank them, within just a few days, usually I struggle to drink this much water.

I'm currently waiting for my next delivery to arrive! 12 bottles every 2 weeks!....Since I ran out I've noticed my energy levels drop this week! So I'll be really interested to see if they pick up again when I'm back on it!...Hopefully my deliveries will be consistent

I'd also be interested to know who owns Shropshire Water and the surrounding local land. It's for this reason I avoid Buxton water!

Beware of the added minerals

Tastes fine but after drinking one can a day for about a week, which didn’t do anything for reflux in a short space of time, but did do something for my bowels! If you are sensitive to added minerals then this isn’t for you. Magnesium can make do this to me but thought was low enough in the water not to effect me, but it has. I will still drink just maybe one or two cans a week but won’t be buying again when I finish my current stock.

Decent taste but sports passes are trash

Water tastes fine - am part way through 48 bottles - very drinkable and tentatively helping my acid reflux. Is it better than an antacid tablet? Jury’s out. Sports passes are rubbish though mainly taster sessions that you’d typically get for free anyway and very limited options - but you only find this out after you’ve made the purchase, of course.

I ordered this as their Instagram advert quotes "no heartburn, no reflux"
So I've been drinking this constantly ordering a box of 24. And have experienced no improvement at all of my acid reflux sadly.
Taste is fine so I've been able to get through it but I've just paid £20 for water that tastes as good as my tap (which is filtered) and no other benefits. So I feel a bit stupid falling for the social media marketing.

Great service

Great service - 2 days but the delivery just dumped it on my doorstep without even knocking .

I drank a litre so easily and because I have SIBO ( Small intestinal bacteria overgrowth ) I get very bad acid reflux / bloating and on a strict diet - I have to drink 2.5 litres of water a day and this is such lovely clean water . I can taste a slight salty taste on my lips ( sodium I guess ) - is it safe to drink this much Bicarbonate and magnesium or should I litre be the limit per day ? I know it’s just water but do the minerals added make a difference ?

I am impressed so far and have subscribed

Hi Sally, hope you're well and thank you for your feedback and queries. Great to hear you're feeling the difference from drinking Actiph and have chosen to subscribe!

Sorry to hear the courier didn't alert you of your delivery - we'll feed this back to our partners.

Whilst Actiph contains added minerals, these are at a low enough level that you needn't worry about consuming too much of them; the mineral content is akin to a mineral water as opposed to an isotonic drink, for example. Of course, if you have any concerns about the suitability of Actiph Water for your specific needs, you should speak with your doctor who will be able to advise based on your specific medical circumstances.

Not only does Actiph contain these added minerals both for taste and functionality, but it is also ionised to an alkaline pH of 9, which is what makes it really unique when compared with other waters on the market.

Thanks again for being a valued member of the Actiph community, and for your feedback, and do let us know if we can do anything further to assist.

Can u add juice to this?

Reply from Actiph Water

Hi Kim, thanks for your question. There's theoretically nothing stopping you adding juice to Actiph Water, but it is worth noting that this would offset the water's alkalinity. In other words, adding juice would make the mixture acidic. If you drink Actiph purely for the refreshing taste, then this hopefully won't be a concern for you. If you drink it to benefit from the high alkalinity, then adding juice would unfortunately cancel out this benefit. Hope this helps, but do let us know if you have any further questions. A Fencer’s Go-To for Hydration

As a foil fencer, staying hydrated is key to performing at my best. Fencing is fast-paced, demanding both physical endurance and sharp mental focus. That’s why I’ve started drinking ActiPH Water, and I can honestly say it makes a difference.

What I love about ActiPH is its high pH (9+) and added electrolytes, which help keep me feeling fresh during training and competitions. It has a clean, crisp taste, and I’ve noticed that it helps with recovery, reducing muscle fatigue after long sessions. Unlike sugary sports drinks, it hydrates without any unnecessary additives, which is a huge plus.

Since switching to ActiPH, I feel more energized and ready to push through tough bouts. If you’re looking for a great hydration option, whether you're an athlete or just someone who wants to stay properly hydrated, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try!

Not actually alkaline

The bottle claims pH 9+ but when tested with universal indicator strip the pH was 7 - which is neutral and indistinguishable from tap water.

11 January 2025
Unprompted review
Actiph Water logo

Reply from Actiph Water

Hi Sarah,

I can confirm that our water is bottled at pH 9 or higher. If you test the pH at home using pH strips you will unfortunately not receive an accurate result as they do not work in water that has been purified - they are measuring the pH of impurities in liquids, rather than the liquid itself.

Because Actiph Water is purified through reverse osmosis at the beginning of its process, it does not have these impurities and will therefore return a neutral reading. This is a common problem we receive as most people use this testing method.

If you were to use pH drops you would find that Actiph turns dark blue, indicating a pH of 9 or higher. In case it helps, this video shows a very basic test demonstrating how pH drops react in lemonade, regular water and Actiph: https://vimeo.com/479830581

The most effective way to test is with a calibrated pH meter, as is the regulatory standard in our industry. We test all of our productions to ensure the pH is as expected and are required to do so to guarantee the shelf life of our product.

Hopefully, this puts your mind at ease but do let us know if you have any further queries or concerns.

Very poor delivery experience and communication

Ordered 2 items, only received one and after contacting the courier (DPD) to find out it was damaged in transit and returned to the seller and that Actiph would be informed on their system as i was told by dpd. However they were not aware and after not hearing anything from them i sent an email to say are they aware to which they replied they did not get notified, and only knew when i sent my email out to them. A replacement was sent only to be not delivered after tracking on yodel it was cancelled up until the delivery time, again no communication on anyones part to inform me. I sent another email and they said it would be sent out, finally received what i ordered after nearly 2 weeks. I would not be ordering again as this was such a hassle going back and forth with both delivery company and seller. As you can probably tell from the other reviews, everyone has pretty much had the same experience and nothing has been improved as it is evidently happening on a consistent basis.

Refund received and rectified. Good customer service contact from them on their part.
