AC ADAPTORS R US LTD Reviews

Adaptor caught fire and burnt my house down

I had a query so used their whatsapp and had an immediate resolution that saved me time and effort!

I needed a replacement power supply for my old Kettler cross trainer — a dedicated plug and barrel connector to bring the machine back to life — and AC Adaptors R Us had exactly what I needed.

The price was very reasonable, the order was dispatched promptly, and the adaptor was exactly as required. It is always a pleasure to find a company that makes it straightforward to get hold of a specific replacement part rather than having to ditch an otherwise perfectly good piece of elderly equipment.

Excellent service, good price and prompt dispatch. Thank you!

I was walking along the publicly accessible footpath when i was suddenly approached by a member of staff from ac adaptors. He insisted i fly a drone over his premises and fed me tea and biscuits. Didn’t catch his name but he was wearing green undercrackers. Highly recommend this company. 5 stars.

Absolutely appalling service! Staff member extremely rude! Don’t use them. When I called he was unhelpful then terminated the call so I called back & he said are u going to say sorry? I said no so he terminated again. Stay clear absolutely rude!! They’ve just replied from my review in June! They’re saying I was referring to DJ Audits, absolute garbage it’s their company I’m referring to, don’t buy or contact AC Adaptors they are rude! Read my review above don’t entertain them, terrible customer service & absolutely rude! My experience was June it’s now September. They’re doing it again blaming another company when it’s them. Why don’t u accept your company is appalling? Don’t buy from them.

I turned up wearing a balaclava and green pants, when I was asked what I wanted I explained that I was here to educate him and for him to get back to work.
Once I left I went to WREN KITCHENS, who are a far superior company.
Stay away from dicks, and try WREN KITCHENS instead .

I was outside of the premises when my laptop charger broke. I was flying my drone over the premises at the time to take some scenery shots of the area.

I popped in to see if I could replace my laptop charger so I could download footage from my drone. Before I could even enter, a man called Nigel Roy Dicks (DJAudits) said I couldn't fly my drone anywhere near here. I told him I'm only after a charger and he went into a rage.

I was out walking my dog a few weeks later in the same area and low and behold I see this man flying a drone over other peoples businesses. I shouted "you've got a nerve" and he couldn't get away fast enough on his orange bike.

I managed to buy a charger online for my laptop so I was happy but I would never do business here. Very unprofessional and i've heard a lot of others have had a bad experience with this man.

Extremely bad experience when visiting this store. Was surrounded by random men upon entering the store and was told that everything was legal and how his drone only weighed so much so I couldn’t do anything to stop it! I believe one of the men who seemed to be very friendly with the owner is also a convicted SA Offender called Curtis Arnold. Will just go to Screwfix next time as it was a right pain!

Nigel Dicks is a very, very strange little man. Spends his time running around filming people and companies with his little £50 toy drone. He gets extremely aggressive and violent. When it happened to him he tried to get the footage removed.

I had issues with my first adaptor but AC Apaters R US sent me a replacement immediately which works perfectly. Great company and quick responders.

Had the exact product I needed and works perfectly! Fast free delivery and no nonsense service. Nice one, cheers.

Attended this store looking for an new adapter but right from the start the owner and partner were very rude from the beginning also told us we are not allowed to record in his shop I’d advise people to avoid the company

Temu products with 30% added on. Now Temu have warehouses in the UK, I suggest customers buy direct.
The owner, a Jimmy Hill lookalike with a comical chin and feminine voice responded by stating ‘come on then’ before soiling his green trousers and riding away on a girls bike.

Rude and incompetent

Excellent service. Thank you.

Well, I called ahead asking for a 12v 3A figure 8 for my Dyslon 1911 Bollox.
The manager (called Nigella) said they had one in srock. thank god!!
So we made the 275 mile journey there (from Lands End) which took 7 hours due to the traffic. we got there and was told thy had no such fitting!!!
He tried to bum us off with a plug didnt really fit, unless you stuck a bit of tin file down the side....
the manager said he had to plp off to a roller skating lesson with his children

Poor quality cheap product, customer service non-existent

Excellent service, price, product arrived promptly and well packaged.
Price was excellent, purchased product as replacement for chargeble hoover. Went on amazon first, purchased charger as recommended, charged once, total waste of money. This supplier absolutely spot on! Soon as I plugged their one into my hoover it started charging no issues whatsoever. Thank you so much, would definately recommend this company!!!
