Very straightforward process to arrange cover, the customer advisor explained my options clearly and concisely. Allowing me to choose the most appropriate cover for my requirements. Payment by direct debit was easy to arrange and the ability to select the payment day is very useful.

New application for life insurance
New application for life insurance, received policy through post, read through and noticed 2 issues, 1st was beneficiary names (family surnames) were noted as not being family on page 3 of 3, 2nd issue will only pay claims into a UK bank account! I explained initially my wife lives overseas and does not have a uk bank account but was given the impression payment would go overseas to my wife! So thought I would call to discuss both issues, after calling numerous times over 3 days I finally spoke to a real person, you are automatically put onto an answering service saying they will call back - nothing ! The red flag I should have taken note of was the use of a local dialling code for where I live when they first contacted me but was actually calling me from another part of the country ! Why do this ? With these 3 indicators I decided to cancel once I got through to someone, when something does not feel right, do not ignore…
