I had a live chat with JACKIE FARLEY, who was very friendly, and quickly accessed all the information about my order. Jackie was able to confirm when Victorian Plumbing was expecting the item to be in stock, and advised me that I would then be contacted when delivery was arranged. It is very rare for a query like mine to be handled so efficiently, usually most sites take round and round in circles. Jackie = 10/10

PERFECT JOB OF FITTING MY DASHCAM

From the first contact by Charlotte giving a complete quotation to fit my own dashcam after my enquiry, and subsequently, when I phoned her to book the appointment, everything was handled in a clear and friendly way.
The engineer, John, text me this morning to confirm
he would arrive at 9am, which he did, and gave me the
impression of being totally experienced and that there would be no problems fitting the dashcam into mt Corsa.
And that is exactly what he did. The installation is absolutely perfect. Unless it was pointed out to you, you would not know there was a camera present. there is no sign of any wiring, and the use of the hard wire kit, which Charlotte said I needed to buy, (universal pack, only £6.00, just make sure it has the correct connector to fit in your camera), meant that there is no unsightly cable plugged into the lighter socket.
Well worth the fitting fee.

As a now retired hairdresser for over 40 years, these Comby combs are of the highest quality, which I had used when running my salons.

If you want combs that will last, then the little extra you pay for these, will save you money in the long run.

Amafone - 5 Stars for phone repairs

This is the second phone which which I asked Armafone to fit their amazing GEL screen protector to, and as last time their service was first class. I needed them to do a home visit, which as last time, was carried out by Luke, who is very friendly, and efficient. The whole process took less than 10 minutes, and the price was very reasonable. When my iPhones warranty expires, if I have a problem, then Armafone will be the people I call.

I have been with Vision Express - Harlow for 25years

I have been a Vision Express - Harlow, client for some 25 years, which speaks for itself.
After my very first visit, I was amazed that the manager Sharon remembered my name, when I revisited to collect my new glasses, which were perfect. I and my late wife Barbara, have never once had a less that a 5star visit.
And my sight test this week, with the other Sharon (optometrist), was as usual extremely thorough, and on this occasion did not require a change of lenses.
I have never felt any pressure, by any of the staff, some of who have been with Sharon the same 25 years, to spend unnecessary money.
I would not consider going anywhere else.

Gary, THE LANDSCAPE MAN merits a six star rating.

When I decided I was too old to continue cutting the grass, I put a note through the door of a local house where I had admired the quality of the front artificial grass, which still looked like new.
The lady contacted me and gave me the number of the person who had done the job 18 years earlier. I phoned and spoke to the owner, Gary, who said he would visit on the following Tuesday and give me a quote. He arrived on time and brought with three samples of artificial grass. He recommended the particular one, as long lasting, and good quality, and it was the one I preferred. Gary asked me what I was hoping for, measured and gave me a very competitive price, which I accepted, and he looked up his next available date, and we booked up.
Gary and his assistant Steve, arrived on the due date, and immediately got down to work. The standard of their work is of the highest standard, and if there were 6 stars available, then they would merit it.
They finished the final touches today, and I cannot recommend them higher. Gary remembered the lady who recommended him and in fact he went back 8 years ago and did her rear garden. My daughter, who has very high standards, and both her and her husband are hard to please, are so impressed that the they are going to ask Gary to look at their large patio with a view to making it larger.

My iPhone was showing that there was a…

My iPhone was showing that there was a small crack on the screen, and Armafone came up as having several stores in the Essex area where I lived, but also that they operate a mobile service for repairs, which suited me as I'm getting on a bit.

I called the number shown on the website on Monday, and a very friendly lady called Julie soon sorted out an appointment for their engineer Luke to visit on Wednesday. She went through all the details and helped me identify the actual model of my iPhone.
She gave me an exact price for the repair, which at £69.99 was reasonable, plus just £14.99 for the home visit. She said Luke would telephone me at least 30 minutes before his visit, which he did at 9.30am and arrived ay 10.15am in his immaculate workshop van.
Luke was also very friendly, and said changing the screen would take about 30 minutes. Less than 10 minutes later, he knocked on the door and said there was nothing wrong with the screen, and handed me
the broken screen cover, which I did not know I had.
He said that as there was no repair, there was no charge, but suggested that he could fit their Premium Screen Protector, which was applied by their machine which would cost just £20.01 plus the £14.99 home visit, totaling £35. It took Luke about 10 minutes to apply the screen cover which is absolutely brilliant and crystal clear. When I decide to upgrade my phone, he said that if I did not want to visit my nearest store at Chelmsford, quite a distance, I should ring Julie, who may be able to advise what refurbished phones are available, and to arrange for Luke to deliver it, and transfer all the data from my old phone. The experience with this firm was absolutely brilliant, and if I could give them 6 Stars, they would deserve it.!

Review of first direct

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE, SECOND TO NONE

I and my late wife have banked with First Direct for many years.
Their customer service IS SECOND TO NONE, and whenever its been necessary to phone them, their prompt replies by their very friendly and efficient advisors always resolves any issues very quickly.
The Online Banking site is easy to log onto, with their new system using my phone is very quick and efficient.
Their are a lot of companies who could benefit from following their example. Although I am now 81, I recently started to use my phone to check my account, and use the link through MY WALLET to pay for everything in stores, which is very quick and easy.
