Found the speaker set I wanted on Amazon but having read bad reviews about the "other" company selling them I found the exact same deal with Whybuynew so decided to buy direct having read their good reviews. They certainly haven't disappointed me. Although the stand had a damaged pole end cap and some small damage to the rear of the one speaker, I contacted the customer service who responded within minutes and offered either a return and replacement or to send out an end cap and a partial refund. Opted for the 2nd option and it was processed straight away. Would definitely buy from Whybuynew again knowing the good customer service is there if needed. Thank you and keep up the good work. Good service is hard to come by these days!

I've been trying to contact Woodlodge in regards to a faulty outdoor fountain that has rusted beyond repair for 3 months now with no response. Very disappointed!!

Thank you Vision Express. Following an awful experience at Specsavers I wasn't holding out much hope but Vision Express (in particular the ashby de la zouch branch within tesco) were brilliant. I needed to sort out a bodged prescription from Specsavers and they were very helpful and friendly. They allowed me to trial contact lenses (for astigmatism) until I was happy and everything was explained perfectly along the way. The only gripe would be they changed my appointment 3 times due to staff shortages (can't be helped) but all in all a very positive experience (not like specsavers!)

Faulty machine but told tough if its outside warranty period

I have a faulty washing machine (model BWE 91684X W UK N) that is less that 18 months old. Indesit have told me that because its outside of the warranty period of 12 months I have to pay £167 to get it repaired. I have contacted them several time stating that this £359 washing machine should not be faulty after only 18 months.....I was told over the phone basically tough and no response from any e-mails letters etc sent back in April 2025. I would not buy anything Indesit again.
UPDATE....What's the point of replying asking me to contact you so you can tell me the same things I've already been told???? Indesit should be contacting or replying to my emails / letters that I've already sent....that is a bit of a useless response, I'm guessing bog standard reply to all reveiws!

I recently visited specsavers for an eye test and lens check which cost £50. Having been told my vision had changed I was offered a lens trial. I collected my trail lenses a few days later but they didn’t seem right. I made another appointment to sort them out where I was told I had astigmatism in my one eye and they had tried to mask this with the lenses that they’d ordered me. I was then told that I would need a special type of lens for this and it would cost me another consultation fee of £25 and I’d have to pay for the lenses ordered. I’m absolutely disgusted that I was not told this in my initial eye check and given an option to trial the “special lenses”. When I questioned it I was told nope you’ve had your free trial and basically tough. Then I asked if I could have my prescription, the response I got was you can have the prescription for the lenses originally trialled (which is wrong) but not the correct prescription for what I apparently need. I cannot believe how uncaring and insensitive the staff were stating rules are rules when the so called rules were not even explained to me. So now I am left with blurred vision, the wrong prescription and no way to sort this out unless I pay extra. Well my money will certainly NOT be going to Specsavers!

TopCashback is a great but watch out for missing claims

TopCashback is a great little nest-egg for rainy days. 100% recommended. Just click through topcashback link and make your purchase as normal, its that easy. Make sure you keep an eye on cashback owed as sometimes it doesn't register and you need to raise a missing cashback claim. Also I've had cashback rejected for no reason (no coupons / promo codes used and items not in a sale) when contested it's been paid out!

Outstanding customer service!
I contacted Faith Jewellers in regards to a bracelet that had been given to me for my 40th birthday. Unfortunately, after a few months a diamante had fallen out but I did not have a receipt as this was a gift. Faith Jewellers told me to send the bracelet to them and they would sort it out. Within a couple of days I had a replacement bracelet. Considering I was not the original purchaser I am so impressed at how quickly and easily this was resolved. I would 100% recommend Faith Jewellers and having never purchased from them before I certainly would now. Thank you for making life just that little bit easier.

Great customer service

Great customer service. Ordered a pallet truck but it didn't turn up when advised. I emailed customer service over the wknd and first thing Monday I recieved a phone call stating it had been lost in the courier system. They promised to send another for delivery on Tuesday. The pallet truck was delivered personally by Kingfisher Direct as promised. The person I dealt with was very apologetic, professional and friendly. Definitely would use again even after a little hiccup as they went above and beyond to resolve. Thank you.
