Awful - AVOID

Awful, just awful. I just wish to return the perfume I ordered, as I realised it wasn't actually natural as soon as I ordered it, but they are ignoring my requests for a returns label, despite saying they'd email it to me days ago. They wouldn't send me an ingredient list and now are not replying. Terrible customer service!! The website is misleading, the perfume is not natural. Why be so terrible on every level, just make and sell a good quality product and look after your customers.

Edit - thank you for your reply below. As you are aware, the products I wish to return are unopened as per the photograph requested and sent, I am fully within my statutory rights to request and make a return. Ignoring your customer's requests to return is against these rights. I am pleased to see that you have now removed any false product claims from your website, however you may wish to check your percentages below, they should add up to 100...

Further edit - I believe that if you offered honest, efficient customer service and an honest product and website, then you wouldn't have customer issues to deal with, but instead the blame is being deflected!! I just want to return my items, that's it, but the hours I've wasted trying to get my refund is unnecessary. I wouldn't need to write disappointed reviews if you looked after your customers and replied to emails. I just hope my refund goes through smoothly.....

Edit - So weeks and weeks after my initial dealings with Elodie at Grives and they have only given me a partial refund, my £10 short of my initial £44. No reason given. I'm unsure of exactly why they have to make it so near impossible and laborious to deal with them, clearly they're not interested in customer service, they just want your money. I have no trust left in this company and would no way put their products anywhere near my skin. I'm still in pursuit of my remaining refund, although they are stating that my case is closed!? Most other retailers excel in customer service these days, they know they have to in order to survive a competitive marketplace.

Thank you for your review. I'd like to address your concerns about our products and service.

Our perfumes are 75% natural, containing 60% almond oil, 15% high-quality tocopherol (Vitamin E), and 25% perfume extractions containing synthetic ingredient. The perfume extractions contain ingredients commonly used in cosmetics to comply with UK regulatory standards for safety and quality.

We've never claimed our products are 100% natural, that was your assumption out of nowhere, unfortunately.

Regarding the returns label, I sincerely apologise for the delay. As discussed in our previous correspondence, we can only accept returns of unopened, unused products in their original condition for hygiene reasons. This is standard practice across the beauty industry.

We never refused your return. We promptly provided the returns label at our own cost to get the items back, as discussed in our correspondence.

I understand Trustpilot can feel like a weapon to leverage communication with companies, but these reviews remain on the internet forever and significantly damage the hard work of many people involved in our brand. A lot of effort goes into creating perfumes that are far more price-competitive and natural than many alternatives on the market.

Perfection bottled

Love the unique fragrances from Shay & Blue, I had a technical issue with my subscription order, but emailed them for help and Milo was so helpful and even checked the next day to ensure it had all gone through ok, which it had. I wish I could try more 2ml fragrances at a more reasonable price, to make choosing the right scent at home easier. Really enjoying my subscription, as I look forward to choosing a different scent from my collection when getting ready each day! Love that the combinations are unique and natural too, which is important to me. I'm obsessed!

Heartfelt thanks Young Vibes

I've never felt so compelled to write a review. On completing The Young Vibes course I'm left feeling so many emotions - overjoyed, eternally grateful, empowered, disappointed, frustrated, desperately sad and passionate (all of these are positives by the way!)

Overjoyed - that I found the course, and it inspired me to sign up. That it is basic, common sense, yet no one has thought of it before. That we are now anxiety free for the future - not just my son, but his generational links to anxiety, being myself and my mum.

Eternally grateful - that there are people in the World who have researched and prepared this pioneering approach and can share it with us, in such an easy to follow format that takes you down a completely different path than you've been down before.

Empowered - to learn about our bodies and why we feel anxiety and what to do about it to change the way forward.

Disappointed - that we didn't find this approach earlier. That we've had to suffer because it isn't taught anywhere else - not at the GP, at CAMHS, not at other therapy, nowhere. It is not difficult, yet everywhere else just wants to put a sticky plaster over the symptoms of anxiety. Get to the root of why your body functions like this, change it and your done. That makes it sound overly simple, it does take hours of work and time and full commitment. No one else can do it for you, you are responsible for it - you get out what you put in.

Frustrated - that this information is not taught in schools, by the NHS or anywhere. No one else is nipping anxiety in the bud. Everyone should have this information and hopefully one day they will.

Desperately sad - that others who need it may not find this help, may decide not to do it, can't afford it, or may read the bad reviews and make a decision based on that. But it seems that the people who left those reviews hadn't actually done the course, so not sure they are qualified to comment.

The bad reviews claimed that some other reviews are left by people who work at Young Vibes - I don't, but I feel so passionate about this now that I wish I did!!

Review of Fables World

Fantastic, Fun & Engaging! It works!!

I genuinely never thought that my 11 year old dyslexic/ dyscalculit son would ever learn his table facts, but he has! He loves the fun characters and stories and remembers the line at the end of the fables which helps him to remember the answer. I wish that I had used this method with my older son, who doesn't struggle with maths but it would have been a more fun and engaging way to learn. It's going to take us a few months to totally memorise all the table facts with division too, but others could definitely do it in the 17 day challenge time. The monetary reward was definitely a big incentive for my son and means that your membership cost in the first month is very small. Thank you Table Fables for allowing us to achieve something I had thought impossible!
