We had reason to complain about a bill received in November with “outstanding charges” dating back 4 years.EDF’s bills require excessive working out at the best of times, but over 4 years worth took us literally hours to work through.Long story short, after a bad experience of a lady “working from home” who was unable to help us (couldn’t access necessary systems),
Dan from team E took over the complaint and managed it to a successful conclusion to our complete satisfaction. Over a two week period he communicated regularly and clearly so we knew where we stood at all times. Throughout the final call he was patient, understanding, but also challenging if he felt my stance was too rigid. We negotiated what we believe was a fair resolution, but throughout we felt he got the balance right between assisting us and and representing EDF. We were 90% certain to leave EDF at renewal because of the charging issue but Dan, through his excellent customer service skills and determination to resolve issues to our total satisfaction has been instrumental in convincing us to stay. Totally impressed with Dan’s attitude, ability and manner.
