Worst customer service ever!
I ordered a mattress (o/n 000456569) on the 27th December 2022, with a delivery of 14 to 28 days. When it hadn't arrived by the end of January, I called them to chase them up, to be told that it was delayed, and should arrive by 17th February. On the 14th February I phoned again to ask about a delivery date, and was told that there was a further delay, and it would be another month before it would arrive. I told them that I wanted to cancel my order, and wanted an immediate refund of the money I paid on my debit card. I was told the refund would take up to ten working days to reach my account, and later that day I got an email from them, confirming the cancellation and that the refund was passed.
Today, I phoned to chase the refund, only to be told that the company had gone into administration, and was taken over by another company as a going concern, and that I would need to take the matter up with my bank to pursue my refund.
The company stinks, and I would urge any potential customers to go elsewhere.
Six weeks later, and I have not yet had my refund. My bank is still waiting for a response from Dormeo. The still have the audacity to advertise on many TV channels, including money back guarantee. Surely this breaches trading standards requirements.
