Total waste of time - stick to LNER!

I downloaded this app to buy a Two Together railcard, with a MoneySavingExpert discount code. I was able to buy the railcard no problem, but found it absolutely impossible to validate it by booking tickets for a train journey.

The app would not let me select 2 adults travelling and wouldn't apply the railcard. Tried multiple times, tried logging in and out multiple times. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Nope, it would not work.

Have cancelled the railcard without validating it and now have to wait a week for my money to be refunded. Absolute waste of time!

InPost is brilliant!

I've used InPost for collecting parcels many times and it's always been an exceptionally reliable, efficient and prompt service.

On this occasion, I had to return an item ordered from a retailer. I was a bit sceptical, as there was no label to print and attach to the box. However, the online instructions were crystal clear and the whole process was incredibly easy. Amazingly, the parcel was dropped off at the InPost locker on Sunday afternoon and by Tuesday morning it has arrived at its destination.

Astonishingly great levels of service. And very environmentally friendly.

Master of Malt is the best in the business

Master of Malt is a phenomenal company. I've been using them for over 6 years now and they are consistently the best purveyors of fine malt whisky and rum (other spirits are available, but I don't drink 'em!) I've come across. The selection of spirits is mind boggling and almost always at the best price on t'interweb. They frequently beat Amazon on price hands down.

Customer service is impeccable. Orders are delivered at lightening quick speed and packaged carefully and conscientiously to ensure no possible damage (unlike some - looking at YOU Amazon). They also always use the best couriers too, so your order won't be left upside down in someone's garden in the rain.

So basically, if you want to order anything spirit related (aside from summoning up your dear departed auntie Margaret), don't mess about - go straight to Master of Malt. They are the best in the business.

My parcel was delivered exactly when expected. Exceptionally polite and courteous young gentleman delivered my parcel to my door. He knocked and gave me ample time to answer, which I appreciated greatly.

DPD - the Rolls Royce of delivery companies. Accept no substitute!

Gold Standard Customer Service

Absolutely first class customer service from Roper Rhodes. Sadly, our brand new bathroom 'furniture' recently suffered a minor chip after a visit from an over-enthusiastic plumber. I called Roper Rhodes on Monday morning to see if I might be able to buy suitable touch up paint to cover it up. I spoke to a wonderful young lady who not only was incredibly helpful and charming, but kindly offered to send the paint free of charge!!! I received the paint this morning (Wednesday). This is the kind of service I thought no longer existed. I am so impressed - thank you Roper Rhodes, your customer service colleagues are an absolute credit to you. 🏆💐

Exceptional Customer Service

I've bought many Russell Hobbs products over the years. Unfortunately, this was the first time I've had a product develop a fault within the warranty period.

Luckily for me, the team at Russell Hobbs could not have been more helpful. A quick call, followed by a couple of emails and less than a week after I reported the problem, a brand new replacement kettle was delivered to my door.

AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

If you want to be left without central heating and hot water, then Hometree is the company for you! Six days ago I had to make my first claim in 2 and a half years after paying £600 in premiums (plus the £60 policy excess). The plumbing engineer they sent 4 days ago identified the problem (central heating pump - which is covered under my policy), but Hometree is quibbling with the plumbing company over the cost of the part. Meanwhile, I am still without heating and hot water and no indication of when normal service will be resumed. I paid my premiums and the policy excess in good faith and it would appear that Hometree has absolutely no intention of fulfilling its obligations as an insurer. Disgusting.

Perfect customer service!

Yet again, Octopus Energy absolutely knocks its competitors for six with the responsiveness of its customer service.

My email, enquiring about a refund of some of the credit in my account was responded to within SIX minutes by Christy. Not only that, but the email was beautifully worded in a polite and friendly manner and confirmed that my refund was on its way.

I wish every company would invest in its frontline staff and deliver customer service as perfectly as Octopus does. You rock, Octopus!!! 🐙💕

Octopus Energy is the gold standard for customer service at every level.

Customers receive a truly personal response to every enquiry, delivered with genuine warmth, care, understanding and expertise.

Mfundo helped me out on this occasion and responded to my email enquiry within 20 minutes - even though I sent my enquiry on a Friday night and was honestly not expecting to receive a reply until the following week!

I will never ever leave Octopus - they treat their customers with honesty, respect and consideration. Such a rarity!

Phenomenal company!

Phenomenal company! They stocked a whisky I had been desperate to buy for my husband for Christmas, but it was either unavailable or massively overpriced everywhere else. I phoned in advance to double check availability and had a lovely conversation with a charming and knowledgeable gentleman who reassured me it would arrive before Christmas. My order arrived within 48 hours, packed beautifully with a complimentary chocolate and a personal note.

Thank you for such impeccable customer service, which is increasingly rare these days. I would not hesitate to recommend your company. Merry Christmas! 🎅🎄🎉

Best energy supplier I have ever experienced

I switched to Octopus from British Gas almost 2 years ago and the gulf in the standard of customer service is astonishing. Octopus is helpful, honest, responsive and genuinely decent and their website is so easy to use. I could get a (slightly) cheaper tariff elsewhere, but I cannot imagine getting better service and that's worth its weight in gold. Go Octopus!
