Used four times now

Used four times now: once for myself and three times as gifts for family. Always been great; you can agree delivery times ahead and that is very useful for gifts.
The produce has been very good and often, little extras (olive oil, a plate set, foods) make it a bit wow!
I do wish they would save some costs and the planet by stopping sending me paper marketing! I order online; I get the marketing online too so stop sending it in the post please!

We booked the glacier Express and…

We booked the glacier Express and Bernina Express with Madhav. He couldn't have been any better: so helpful, polite and efficient and he had all the answers at his fingertips. He was happy to change hotels for us as well as seats on the train and tell us where the nearest bus stop to the hotel was! Very good. Can't wait to get out there.

I was slightly sceptical because the…

I was slightly sceptical because the price was so good! I had used the site once before and customer services had turned out to be good at that time. I was most worried that it would be a 'knock-off' product. To my delight, it arrived when they said it would, it was tracked and I was notified. The product had clearly come from another country (I think perhaps China) as all of the instructions were in Chinese-like writing. However, it was easy to look up the instructions on-line and everything has worked perfectly (in English) and is registered and recognised as a genuine Samsung product. Couldn't be happier and a great price compared to buying anywhere else.

I have used them MANY times now for…

I have used them MANY times now for personalised photo books and trusted them with representing images of my daughter's life growing up. I have taken a picture of her every Saturday of her life up to the age of 16 and had each year turned into a book.
They are for her but also great gifts for grandparents and relatives who may not have seen her for many months as they live far away.
The prices are high but I have always bought with a discount, which makes them good value but you may have to bide your time for the right offer.
The process of putting them together is very good but can be quite time consuming. I enjoy it and the finished product is great quality.
what would make it easier? - bringing in the captions with the photos when you import them and ordering them in date taken order.
Overall, very happy.

Extremely personable and efficient

A very friendly and pleasant mechanic (Phil I think from memory) who got on with the job extremely efficiently, explained everything, did a test drive and had kept us informed all the way along. Very happy with this service and for front brake discs and pads (not necessarily other options I have looked at before) a good competitive price. Very happy :-)

Easy to order - took a little while to arrive but when they did, very impressed with the wines and the olive oil and extras that we ordered. I'm glad to purchase direct from the supplier and I would recommend them.
I have just made another order having now used them twice.

A superb experience.

Following an inauspicious start (see previous 1 star review), we managed to secure our hotels confirmations and headed to Japan.
This has been a stunningly great holiday. Some hotel rooms (3 of the 5 we stayed in) were very small. However, this was more than made up for by the excellent locations. The final hotel had large rooms and was almost underneath the Tsūtenkaku Tower in Osaka. It was like living in a fun fair but peaceful and a good night's sleep.
The hotels were all good, clean and friendly, often with significant extras like tea / coffee, hair brushes, toothbrushes and toothpaste three had snacks, one had alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks until 8 pm (all free) and more. All had soap, shampoo, conditioner, excellent showers and toilets, tvs (little in English but we didn't use them really)hair driers and availability of irons and ironing boards and several hotels had self-serve laundries with banks of washers and driers (or washer driers) that were inexpensive and extremely convenient (could have packed less). Breakfast was never included but you could buy them there, mostly inexpensive - one exception in Hiroshima but it was brilliant (also had a roof-top bar).
The last hotel in Osaka was great for us but if you are disabled or elderly you may have trouble getting in and out of the bathroom: there was a large step up into it and the bath / shower was quite high to get your leg over too.
Beware - e-SIMs are included but check your phone can take an e-SIM (as opposed to a physical SIM card); one of ours could and the other couldn't so we could make use of one of them.
We had a fantastic time - on the go all the time - but such a great adventure. The two day-trips (half way up Mt Fuji from Tokyo and a pack of brilliant visits from Kyoto) were just fantastic. You do need to find where you are meeting and get there on time but we established where they were the nights before.
Getting to know the train system was a bit daunting at first - we had the JR passes for 7 days - which meant a separate ticket (provided) was needed for the last journey to Osaka but very logical and easy to use once we got the hang of it.
The holiday went without a hitch and we would recommend it highly. The value for money was unbeatable compared to everywhere else we looked. It might have warranted 5 stars if not for our initial problems getting the hotels confirmed more than a week before we went (as we were meeting family there from another continent!) and the very small rooms on occasion.

Exceptional customer care

I made an order of several items to undertake an extract system with an in-line fane: all very good prices and a handy kit. The order didn't arrive, so I called (I had had a notification that it had been sent to the courier).
I was answered by a very friendly, efficient and pleasant human being; she tracked my delivery and sure enough, it had been held up within the courier's warehouse. No quibbles: she said, "I'll get another sent out to you today." Received the following day! Brilliant!

Highly efficient and precise. Did exactly what they said they would…

Did exactly what they said they would do, no fuss, delivery as and when stated, exactly correct and the best exchange rate I could find anywhere (significantly better than high street). The service was excellent. I took off one star because I wanted to query something in their terms and conditions so I called - I did not get an answer after waiting in a queue for 50 minutes!
The question I had was that part of their terms and conditions was (words to the effect of), 'if the money isn't cleared in their account by 3pm on the same day as the order, that they would return the money and charge £10 adim fee'. I was about to order at 2:50 pm and it appeared odd - I ended up waiting until the next day.

Telephone support very good but shouldn't have been needed.

Having been told (in the small print on my energy statement) that I could save by changing tariff, I went online. It was exceedingly difficult to get the information needed for kWHs used per year to do a comparison on the website; I used Octopus' own comparison based on an 'average' user for a quote - that looked good compared to mine (because it underestimated my gas use by several thousand units despite actually having that information).
I persisted and found that it would save me around £100 a year - i spent hours researching and finding the information and doing the calculations. So i tried to change on my account. It took me to a direct debit mandate, which I duly filled in and I was rejected because I already had an account (which I was actually using for the quote). So I tried the FAQs about how to change tariff. It was helpful and told me exactly where it should be on my account. It wasn't there! So I called and the lady on the telephone was exceedingly helpful and knew her stuff and had me changed within a couple of minutes. Email arrived seconds later to confirm. Thank you to the person (that it was unusually not toodifficult to get to).

Massively improved.

We used and left them years ago because they were quite inflexible on deliveries and cancellations, but the food was always good. Now, the deliveries are massively improved: you can choose or change days and skip up to six in a row for holidays or going out etc.
The food is still great and we've had some lovely recipes; there is a lot of choice on the menu; and deliveries come with ice-packed with them to keep them fresh.
Everything is weighed out for you so prep is much easier and you get full recipes including info on content etc. Overall a great offer.
Could I do it cheaper myself? Probably a little but you would have to buy special spices etc (that are included with the box) and go shopping! I find that there is a little too much packaging for my liking but it would be difficult to do it another way. I dislike that there are a lot of recipes that charge extra; I just skip past them and there are still plenty for us including meat, fish and vegetarian offers. All round very pleased with the service and it's very convenient.

Fabulous experience

The pre holiday communication was great. Tyler-Jo in Barbados actually responded to my request (very rapidly) from in resort before we had flown. We just asked for particular room preferences (close together and not on ground floor and no twin rooms) but she spoke with the manager and we got exactly what we asked for (although understanding it wasn't guaranteed).
The transfers were super - especially on the way back with a wonderful mini tour because we had lots of time. Arrivals were clearly marked and easy to find the TUI stand and transfer on the way in.
The TUI app was generally good (a couple of minor glitches) but communications were very good.
In resort prices tend to be more expensive with TUI but sometimes you are paying a little extra for the peace-of-mind that they are reputable. We booked car hire for about 2/3rds the price and had no problems with the outside hie company. Overall - extremely happy and we will undoubtedly use TUI again for similar holidays.

First time at Toolstation last week and I've been back today.

I did a fair bit of shopping around for a new Karcher and Toolstation offered the best price (in some cases by a long way). There was also a deal on soaps etc half price. The ordering process was simple and the communication was super, telling me when I could collect. When I arrived, it was all ready and I was in and out in 2 minutes. Polite, efficient, good service. I have even been back today for some more deals. Same good service - all waiting for me.
