Velora‑Amsterdam is a deceitful, shady scam—avoid at all costs!
I fell into their trap thinking I was shopping from a classy Dutch brand based in Amsterdam. Rookie mistake. In reality, everything ships from China or Albania, masked behind slick Amsterdam branding. The “fast delivery” is a joke—nothing is shipped from local stock. Expect to wait two to three weeks, if not longer.
What actually arrives? Garbage. Cheap polyester marketed as linen or cotton, shoddy stitching, bizarre sizing, and nothing like the photos on the site. I felt completely misled, and it seems many others have had the same experience.
Returns? Nearly impossible. They make the process deliberately confusing and expensive. You’ll have to ship items back to Albania and pay €20–40 out of your own pocket for the privilege. Instead of issuing refunds, they try to pacify you with worthless coupons or tiny partial refunds.
Customer service is a joke. They don’t answer real questions or complaints—just auto-replies and discount codes to shut you up. They rely on the fact that most people won’t go through the hassle of pursuing a refund internationally.
Independent scam checkers have flagged them with low trust scores. Their company details are hidden, they’re not registered as a Dutch business, and they offer no consumer protection under EU law.
Fake brand identity Markets as an Amsterdam-based company, actually ships from China.
Suspicious operations - Anonymous ownership, no Dutch certification or consumer rights compliance
Bottom line: Velora-Amsterdam is not just a disappointment—it's a carefully constructed SCAM.
