16th May placed a order for a Remington air cobra .22
Having previously used sportsguns back in February I placed another order for my dad as we couldn’t fault them.
So placed order received and received this email back

We shall be in touch with you to provide you with a 3 hour time slot and day shortly.
Please remember that due to the law we are required to deliver to you in person which can take up to 21 days however the vast majority of orders are delivered before this.

Time went by nothing from them. My dad contacted them several times was told different stories each time. The website then. Changed to 35 days my dad rang and spoke to mike who said “no yours we’ll be delivered within the 21days you have my word” that was worth nothing!
A bit of honesty would have helped believe me, the amount of times it was on suppose to be in the van but never delivered Then they were organising routes The route I could have walked there and got it quicker. But basically that gun wasn’t in stock. Like all the other air gun dealers but at least they were honest and put out of stock on website.
We had enough of getting fobbed off With excuses.So out of curiosity I got my husband to ring them to ask if gun was in stock. Guess what it wasn’t! that’s what Carole told him. Finally some truth. But she would have been more than happy for him to place a order on the phone not knowing when stock would come in. Due to the situation and suppliers. Which matched up with other air gun suppliers who were honest And upfront all said they were waiting on delivery
So after several emails trying to get them to commit to delivery date was always avoided. They were always planning route but it’s on the van or going on the van. Excuse after excuse
So after sending another email they said it was coming on Friday 12th between 5&9pm we were suspicious by this delivery time. Was this again to buy more time hoping stock would be in.
We weren’t prepared to wait any longer so asked for a refund.
The next email then said “it is very difficult to plan 200 deliveries on a route so apology .especially in these circumstances !!
Why take orders if you can’t cope?
So I emailed asking for a refund. Carole said she would
Happily refund .however your order is packed on the van which left to nite .

Even though they were told earlier on in afternoon to cancel order and refund.
So emailed back and asked when I would get my refund. Carole replied Monday
I rang to speak with Carole and all I can say is your customer service really needs some brush up skills. So RUDE! But wait for it. She now has to Wait for van to return with paper work maybe another lie or knows with this company. I don’t believe a word they say
I did get refunded.
A company we would have kept using but due to lies and brush offs we would never use again.
After covid 19, businesses will need customers more than ever so good luck to this one. but after this experience I won’t be using you again nor recommending you.
