Experience let down by poor delivery service
The range of products and prices and very good. However, with an order totalling over £80 the goods were sent via Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For, which only covers goods up to a value of £50 and has not been received two days after being dispatched. Given you have to wait 2 weeks before the goods can be considered 'lost', you are likely to be out of pocket and waiting a long, long time before anything materialises!?!
I think it's fair to ask that on orders over £50 a better delivery service is included in the price.

I am sorry to see your two star review of our service.
We use Royal Mail Signed For service for a lot of orders and mostly they arrive in good time. As with all services occasionally a parcel arrives later than expected but we have minimal issues with delayed deliveries. From our delivery page we say:
We do not aim to guarantee next-day delivery as standard - expect delivery in 1-3 working days. However most orders received before 3pm Mon-Fri will be shipped same day and will generally arrive next day.

We do offer our customers the option to upgrade to Royal Mail Special Delivery if they need the items in a hurry but this is a more expensive service and so there is an extra cost.
The compensation from Royal Mail doesn't really factor as the contract is between Cult Pens and Royal Mail and we would re-ship an order if it hadn't arrived after the 2 weeks waiting period.
I would expect that your parcel will arrive any day now, but please let us know if you haven't received it by 17th December.
