I experienced a system update error that I couldn't recognize on my end. For instance, the value approved was displayed as $4,000, even though it was originally approved for $12,000. I found it diffic... See more

Jordan was fantastic, he stayed online until my problem was fixed. You need more workers like Jordan.

Rejected for no reason. Outstanding credit report and no debt. It was instantaneous and likely AI. Extremely unfair and I will NOT be bothering again with this horrible company

Best app I've found and used so far.. I use to this day With no issues and it is so helpful at the end of the month when I need groceries and I am broke before payday. Great customer service and easy to use software. Not to mention no interest, just one fee of less than $3 per purchase. You pay a small down payment I think ten percent then 3 small payments to pay off your purchase, or they now have the choice to pay 2 payments faster. They raise your purchasing power randomly and when you make 5 purchases in a row and pay them all off on time. No credit check or high score needed your approved as soon as you downloaded the application. They make it so easy to get refunded if needed, and did I mention no interest?! Got to have it!

I'd have given a 5 except for a couple of things. At one stage, I was given $2000 max zippay, but they reduced it to 1,500 saying something about legal customer limit protection despite the fact I had paid off most of it and was paying over $125 pf back (mostly much higher), so it was disappointing for them to decrease the amount despite also having zip money for 1000 that I haven't touched. I am a good payer back - I have had one time they tried to debit my account earlier than when I get my pay which I didn't organise. The last issue is I had a dispute with a merchant way back in January and I contacted zip February (early) and they told me they would contact the merchant by today, 27th, and work it out, but I have yet to hear anything back and every time you try to contact by email, it raises another ticket which is confusing. Other than all of that, I am on DSP and applying for zip years ago, they easily approved me. And when I use zip as a payment never had an issue except very early on with fuel cards, and Woolworths. A really good thing is a lot of dentists now take zip. As an alternative way to pay compared to loans, credit cards, zip's interest rates are very cheap. The only irony once you start paying it back, too easy to start spending again. On the phone, customer service I found was excellent. Zip app easy to use. When using internet via laptops etc. accessing zip website sometimes annoying because you have to be careful and make sure it is Australia. Despite my very few minor complaints, in the scheme of things, I highly recommend zip and repayments start as little as $40.

I found following the wait time to speak with a team member of 1 minutes, spoke with member of my ongoing problem with financials, it was resolved within 5 minutes of speaking with her. Very satisfied and the score I have provided allows for room for improvement.

Tried to use their "ZIP10" promo code for $10 University books/items on Amazon - It refused code on payment page, no explanation or reason. Purchased book without promo code and lodged enquiry with proof/screen shots etc. and asked them to simply honour their promo. Brushed off, given lame ass excuses and told to contact Amazon about THEIR promo..... Paying it off and closing account today ! Click-bait promo with "fine print" in invisible ink. Con artists just like Amazon.

I purchased a gift card through Zip in December 2025, and when I attempted to use it in January 2026, I repeatedly received error messages. I contacted Zip on 18 January 2026 to report the issue. This resulted in a lot of back-and-forth emails between myself, Zip, and the shopfront.
The shopfront confirmed that the card was active and ready to be used; however, I continued to receive the same error. I was advised to visit the shopfront in person, which I did, only to be told that it was not their issue and that it was Zip’s responsibility.
I returned to Zip but received no updates for over a week. After following up for a resolution on the 17/2/2026, I was told that the card had been spent, that my email had been compromised, and that I should go to the police, with Zip stating they could not assist further—despite previously both ZIP and the shop front confirming the card was ready and waiting to be used.
I would strongly recommend not using Zip for gift card purchases. I am currently seeking advice from the Financial Ombudsman and am in the process of closing my accounts.
I posted elsewhere this review on the 18/02 and was asked for the details so they could follow up - did so...only to recieve the same response back by the same person (19/2). Waste of time.

ZipPlus is sooo easy to use and fast, for all those unexpected, but necessary Items that decide to die at the most inconvenient Times. It’s a Choice to pay it out quickly or pay a small Monthly Fee. .
