Discrepancies
I compared to a competitor (Autocheck) and Zilocar reports 0 Accidents, when there is 1 Accident on history.
What else is Zilocar NOT reporting and just taking your money?

Thank you for your feedback. We understand how concerning that can look. Our reports are based on official and insurance data, which sometimes updates at different times than other providers like Autocheck. This can occasionally result in timing differences for newly reported accidents.

We never hide or alter information - as soon as new records are added to national databases, they appear in our system automatically. If you share the VIN with us, we’ll gladly re-check it manually for you.

A Definite Necessity in Used Car Purchasing

Excellent service. Ever get that feeling? Something seems out of whack on certain pricing when you've looked at a number of cars to compare prices. This service will help you figuring out why. Lots of checking and re-checking different items. If you're spending $20k-60K these days looking to buy used today. What's another hundred or so to make sure you're not buying something you'll regret?

Not well know, and shady review practices

This is not a well know name brand so when others see my car report, they are skeptical. Also after I purchased the report, I got a survey from zilo car. In the email you can pick 1-5 stars. Only if you click 5 stars does your submission go to trust pilot, which to me sway the ratings. If you click 1-4, the response only goes to zilocar and does not kick you over to trust pilot. This seems very shady to me.

No Customer Service Number to Cancel

Update: Zilocar reached out to me and helped me cancel my subscription. So other than this issue, the service and product they provided was very good.

The info I received from Zilocar was decent, and helped me decide not to pursue a vehicle. I tried to cancel and you cannot do that on the web site. I have emailed and messaged Zilocar and am awaiting a response. I am hopeful they do not charge me for a full month after my trial period is over.

Just a dad looking for a car

Hey everyone, I'm seriously wondering if this is the best service around. I've only used the trial, but the detailed, accurate info was unmatched. We're looking for a used car for our son, and usually, you get no history, no maintenance records, nothing. Plus, their customer service is top-notch. For a small family business, they offer surprisingly great support. At least use the trial to start your research and compare.

The report gave some additional information that CarFax did not show, and from that I was able to make a more informed decision on the purchase of a used Corvette that I was looking into.

Their website is deceptive

Their website is deceptive. Clearly shows $5 a month unlimited reports at a 95% savings. But, if you look at the fine print it is only a trial and you get 1 report and they charge you the $99.99 after the 3 days. This is NOT a 95% savings. I will be filing a complaint with the State Attorney Generals office.

Ordered the test report for $5 and paid. Report was Ok, nothing overly special. Then they charged me $99. Never wanted the service. Contacted customer service. Still waiting for a refund. DON'T SIGN UP FOR THE TEST REORT
