I received stem cell treatment from Zignagenics in February 2026. This was my first experience with stem cell therapy, so initially I knew very little about the process, the science behind it, or the potential outcomes. During my research, I spoke with several clinics, but Zignagenics stood out in many ways and ultimately made my decision easy.

Most importantly, my patient liaison, Luisa, was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. She patiently answered many of my questions and arranged several calls with the doctor so I could discuss more technical aspects of the treatment. By the time I was ready to make a decision on which clinic to choose, I felt well informed and confident moving forward with Zignagenics.

Once I scheduled my treatment, Luisa coordinated everything. After I sent my flight and hotel information, she arranged for Mauricio—who was fantastic—to pick me up from the airport, drive me to the clinic, and then take me to my hotel in San Diego after the first day’s procedure. The next day he picked me up again for the second day of treatment and later brought me back to the airport. The entire experience was seamless and very well organized, which made the process much less stressful.

When I arrived at the clinic, the doctor spent time explaining the procedure in detail and answering all of my questions. The treatment began with a Myers’ Cocktail IV to help prepare my body for the injections. The facility itself was comfortable, with reclining chairs and a very welcoming staff who made sure I was taken care of throughout the process.

Luisa also checked in several times during my stay in San Diego and continued following up with me for several days afterward. Before I left the clinic on the second day, the doctor provided me with a report of authenticity and walked me through what everything meant.

After returning home, Luisa scheduled a follow-up call with another member of the team to discuss peptides and sent additional educational materials so I could better understand how they may support recovery. I recently received them and plan to begin incorporating them soon.

I am currently about three weeks post-treatment and doing everything I can from a dietary and lifestyle standpoint to maximize the potential benefits. It is still early to determine the full results, and I understand that outcomes can vary, but the overall experience was excellent and the team was truly outstanding.

I had pain for years. Headaches. Migraines. Tight muscles. Hands and feet hurting, burning, swelling with arthritis. A handful of times ovarian cysts ruptured. Upon waking, it felt like a truck had run over me. We spent lots of money at chiropractic, supplements, prescriptions, special diets. And there were surgeries – ruptured discs to fix, a Parrs defect on a lumbar vertebra, a cyst to remove from the spinal cord, hysterectomy because of fibroids, and “smaller” things like a large kidney stone stuck in the ureter and a hernia repair. Every time, we would think – “ah, now we got it fixed! I will be better now.”
And truly we did fix some of the things; but as we discovered, autoimmune and fibromyalgia need to be managed. With supplements. With adequate rest and pacing. With intentional eating habits. With limiting stressors. With meds and biologic shots. But these things alone did not give enough relief.
Then we were introduced to stem cell. For about 8 years, I received stem cell therapy with cells harvested from my own bone marrow or fat. It was a grueling process, and did give some relief. But I wish we would have known then what we know now about donor stem cells.
Donor cells are much purer and more energetic than my own compromised stem cells. It is unbelievable the healing I got from donor cells! I finally feel like my own age instead of 15 years older than my years. I can walk straighter, faster, and pain-free! I can park anywhere on the parking lot instead of using my handicapped tag. When I go shopping, I can push my own cart instead of riding an electric cart. I can take care of my family instead of spending hours resting.
Just last week someone asked me if I feel as good as I look. And I could say “Yes!” Of course, the tug-of-war goes on in my body: as auto immune destroys, I need another boost of healing cells. And meds and supplements and intentional living are part of the package. But I thank God there is stem cell therapy, and the wonderful place and people at Zignagenix to help us navigate this complex science. I recently had a stem cell procedure at R3 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and the entire experience was outstanding. From the beginning, Mark and Anna ensured I fully understood the procedure and helped coordinate all pre-, during-, and post-visit logistics. They made both me and my spouse feel completely welcome and were always available to answer questions—something especially reassuring when having a medical procedure outside your home country.

Nestor, my driver, was professional and kind, making the early morning trip stress-free (and even stopping at Starbucks for me). It's been a year and a half since my stem cell/exosomes/prp treatment at ZignaGenix. I'm an active 74 year old man. I surf, golf, workout and lead a healthy lifestyle. That includes diet, very little alcohol, sermorelin peptide and testosterone injections. What I've found since my treatment is that I'm able to do more strength and mobility exercise for my legs with significantly less pain (and sometimes no pain) than I had before treatment. I can even just walk more without pain which had been impossible prior. I had surgery for left knee ACL blowout in 1980. Since then I have been very active until about 8-10 years ago the cartilage wear and tear as well as some age-related arthritis made certain activities nearly impossible. Now I do static and dynamic squats with increased weights among other leg exercises like lunges and side hops, etc. The net result is that my joints are protected by increasing muscle/tendon/ligament strength. Diagnosed with Stage IV prostate cancer with bone metastases in April 2024. I was not interested in traditional treatments such as hormone
replacement therapy (HRT) or chemotherapy.

bruises or marks whatsoever.

beet juice, and coffee were a daily highlight.
• The chef who prepared and delivered our hot meals every morning deserves recognition
too—the food was excellent.
• Anna Karen, the clinical director, went above and beyond to schedule MRI imaging for me at
another hospital, even though I waited until the end of the week to request it.
• Ruben, another shuttle driver, transported me to that hospital and was as professional, kind,
and supportive as anyone could ask for.
• Dr. Oscar Ochoa called me personally before the procedure to answer my questions and
invite further discussion. During treatment, his bedside manner was beyond
compare—genuine, compassionate, and calming. In a moment of gratitude, I told him I loved
him. Without hesitation, he smiled and said he loved me too. It was a simple but unforgettable
gesture of humanity.
• CEO Carlos Ituarte was an unexpected delight—dynamic, humorous, engaging, and
genuinely connected with every patient he met.
Every single person at ZignaGenix went above and beyond to accommodate the patients’
needs. Their philosophy seems to be summed up in one word: “Yes.”
I began the week anxious about being in Tijuana and ended it impressed, grateful, and eager
to return – both to ZignaGenix and the Hotel Real del Río. (I’m still thinking about that
breakfast buffet!). Next time, I’ll make sure to take advantage of their massages, too.
As for the treatments themselves, everything went smoothly. I experienced mild evening
inflammation, but it was unclear whether that was due to diet, activity, or the therapy itself.
Otherwise, I had no complications.
I plan to have my blood work rechecked in about a month, which will determine my next steps. I'll update this review.
