I gave Yorkshire Tea some feedback on a Sunday. On Monday I had a personal response which was very pleasant, addressed the issue and sorted me out. Great service.

Yorkshire tea is always my go to. Over the last year the quality of the tea is incredibly weak compared to how it used to be. I'm definitely trying to switch brands as I no longer think it deserves the price tag attached to it.....if anyone has any suggestions for stronger tea.....

I thought it was just me! We drink Biscuit Brew, 'Normal' Yorkshire tea bags and looseleaf Gold. The Biscuit and Gold are great. But like a lot of other reviewers, I've found that I don't want to drink the tea made from the normal tea bags anymore. It used to be so nice, but it's now got far more scummy, (and it's not our water as that's filtered and, besides the other two are still fine), and the taste is, frankly, revolting. The last time I had one I couldn't even finish it.
Excellent customer service- I emailed with some comments about a different product in the range, and received a detailed and pleasant reply the next day.
They then sent a replacement pack of tea and a complimentary pack in recompense - I was extremely pleased.

Used to be really flavoursome and a great way to start the day- and keep going through it. But the latest teabags produce an insipid, dull as ditchwater mugfull of disappointment. I've complained to them, asking if they've changed suppliers, and hope I get an honest response. Meanwhile will try alternative brands. Not sure if I can finish this 160-bag box!
Yorkshire Tea was always my favourite, until recently. Tea is more often than not so weak is barely colours the water, even after adding a second tea bag and leaving it to brew for a long time. I thought I had suddenly fogotten how to make tea, but the other reviews suggest there is a bigger issue here. Sometimes it is great, strong brew and colour, but sadly not happening often enough, and I would be embarrassed to give a guest the pale water I am putting up with most days. Time to part ways after many years.

Over the last c. 3 months, I have not been enjoying YT as much as I used to! Which is an absolute shame, it was always my preference. YT has become much weaker (no matter how long you keep the teabag in for!) & the taste is lacking in substance... (I even started drinking more coffee as a result!).
I have just switched today to Aldi 'Extra Special' English Breakfast. A much, much more fulfilling taste - more strength so therefore much better! Tea as we know it.
YT - let us know when you've sorted your strength & taste out!!

Used to be very good, went weak but about ok, this box of 210 is extremely weak and tastes like dishwater.
Going to throw away a third of box and waste my money even more, cannot bear the stuff and with every sip knowing you're getting robbed. Have they been bought out or something or just internal greed? I don't care either way - never again

What has happened to Yorkshire Tea? I have been a loyal and satisfied customer for many years but not any more, I'm afraid. The teabags seem to have lost the strength and depth of flavour that I have always enjoyed. The blend has definitely changed and not for the better. I will now be seeking an alternative ... sorry to say!

No longer tastes like Yorkshire tea! It’s the same as drinking a hot cup of water with colour. The Yorkshire tea taste is not there, the colour is good sometimes and other times it’s terrible. Me and my family been drinking it for years because of the beautiful flavour it used to have but now we are thinking of moving to another brand. Disappointed and sad 😞

Used to be number 1 tea but overpriced now also other better teas out there now in my opinion ie Tetley and and TY.Phoo and Twinings etc and much cheaper to
I recently contacted Taylors of Harrogate regarding an issue with the perforations on a current box of Yorkshire Tea bags, and I was genuinely impressed by the level of customer service I received.
Their response was prompt, warm, and clearly written by someone who genuinely cared. Bronte listened to my feedback, acknowledged the issue thoughtfully, and reassured me that my concerns would be passed on and acted upon. It’s refreshing to see a company take customer feedback seriously rather than sending a generic reply. Thank you x

I contacted them because a large box of tea bags I opened was found to contain lots of damaged tea bags, which I had to chuck away and I transferred the ones that were useable to another box. They solved my problem with in a few hours by contacting me quickly an and replacing the tea bags. Brilliant service.
