Meat and fish smelt bad a day after my box arrived

Amazing, and so worth it!

The food is good quality and the recipes easy to follow. What is spoiling this whole experience is the Web site and lack of communication from the team. If this dosnt improve I will have to go back to Gousto which I really dont want to!!

Hit and miss. I was initially very impressed with the first meal (lamb and mint burgers) which seemed to be higher quality than various competitors’ boxes. Thai fishcakes were good but didn’t look like the picture. Katsu curry was a disappointment and the onion bhaji burger was a fail.

Being used to other boxes where the ingredients were all the suitable size it seemed a bit wasteful and easy to make a mistake when two of the recipes had a tin of coconut milk that was twice the amount the recipe needed.

I also found the website unclear. Did signing up for a subscription mean the same four meals every week?

The quality of the food was excellent and how it came packaged was also very good .

Quality products. Everything weighed and individually packed. Generous Portions of all ingredients. Easy step by step recipe cards to follow. Fool proof. I ordered the one off box but will be signing up and making it a regular order. Thanks

Really good. Most tasty box I’ve had, and I’ve tried all the usual suspects. If I had to be critical, a bit too much packaging, but I guess it’s to follow regulations.

The boxes are ok, especially at the half price point when on offer.
The quality of some of the produce isn't the best for example some of the aubergines where a bit mushy and and the onions looked old.
Also knocked a star off for the unbelievable amount of plastic that's used in the packaging, it's really quite scary, I ordered a box of 4 meals for 4 people so got double the plastic as you just get 2 lots of 4 meals for 2, I feel that of they packahed specifically for 4 this would reduce the plastic drastically, also I was missing a few of herbs for some of the recipes, I didn't contact yes chef to resolve this as I had paid half price but I'm sure they would have fixed it if i did.
The new website it leaps and bounds ahead of the old one so selecting dishes is now a joy instead of a chore, great move yes chef.
If yes chef could improve there packaging (to stop bruises on the veg) and reduce the single use plastic by quite Alot I would probably order again as the actual meal choices are good.

Sadly, very disappointed. Vegetables were over and rubbery, some leeks not usable. One meal did not contain the milk bags (do not know quantity involved in a ‘bag’ of milk so could not substitute very confidently) another did not contain the cream, the smoked bacon lardons or the red potatoes, so not a lot left that constitutes the meal. Emailed in, got no response. Will go back to Hello Fresh who have not got it wrong in the three weeks we had it. The instructions were written really weirdly too - very difficult to understand/follow.

Fabulous meals. All really fresh and good quality. We were very happy with everything.

Some times some of the recipes were not very easy to follow and by day 4 some of the veg was starting to look old

The food was great I really enjoyed the menu and having things portioned ready to go was excellent. Their were items missing in some of the bags though which was disappointing, more diligence from the packing team is needed! I think it was worth the money with 50% discount but for me the full price is just way to expensive!

Unfortunately, the whole experience was awful. We had missing main ingredients, along with other missing items, and the vegetables were off/not at all fresh. The quantities were completely wrong e.g vegetables that were too big so the recipe didn’t work properly (for making vegetable burger patties) and the recipes were not very nice either.

Unfortunately 2 of my recipes had 1 ingredient missing.

Our first box was damaged in transit so Yes Chef very kindly sent out a replacement for the next week, which arrived perfectly. The food was really nice, such great quality ingredients and everything was packaged well!
