I am actually quite surprised that Zooplus isn't rated higher on here. Maybe it's because happy customers don't always post reviews. Whereas aggrieved customers want to shout out about any issues.
Well, I for one am a very happy, long-term Zooplus customer. Order what I need for my pets on a Sunday, and receive my invariably heavy order, delivered to my door within 2 days. What's not to like?!

So in January paid for royal mail ,which cost more,sent by evri so longer delivery time , this time ordered on the 16/3/20026 got on 24/3/2006. 2/3 day delivery what a joke. Useless company.
Have used this company for years but lately it’s gone to pot and will reconsider using them.
Deliveries are usually ok but if you want to return something you will encounter a huge problem.
They use EVRI.
Need I say more?!
They book collections which don’t happen and expect you to keep re-booking until EVRI may (or may not) eventually turn up!!
I’m on my third collection - wasting my time and annual leave allowance.
The zooplus telephone system is terrible with crackling lines and mumbling male heavily accented employees. Have to keep saying pardon. Often you actually get cut off! Frustrating!
Email customer service has become rather ‘chatbot’ like - with little reference to the actual problem and a follow up that isn’t applicable to what you’ve previously discussed with them.
Sort it out Zooplus - you USED to be outstanding.

Everytime I place an order with this company there is always an issue with Evri. I have told Zooplus so many times about the problems with Evri but they says there is nothing they can do so I have not to order again not worth the hassle. Because they can change delivery companies

3.5 stars. They have a good selection and customer service have always been quick to reply, I also buy the 3% subscription and would have given them 5 stars until last week. They have discontinued a very niche food without any notice. I entirely understand products will come and go, but common curtesy would have been to inform customers who have been purchasing this food for years (monthly for 3 years for me) that this is happening so we have chance to safely transition our pets to a different food

£60 order was placed, despatched, giiven tracking info which said my order was being returned to zooplus with no reason, then zooplus cancelled my order with no notification to me. They still had every item in stock but didn't give me the option to wait bit longer for delivery, which I would have been fine waiting longer if getting my order, just got an updated invoice/credit note, no explanation. Tried phoning them about 20 times but just diverts number then cuts you off. A week or so later I get another invoice even though no delivery. Will not be using this company again as customer service is unobtainable, and have to keep emailing them and waiting for reply to find out what game they are playing next. Would not recomend.

Appalling service, only delivery option was Evri, order was three days late, tried speaking customer services who didn’t give a monkeys. Still awaiting a call back from a manager (promised “within an hour” but nothing after three days). Tried cancelling the order but they can’t even do that.

Made a purchase on their website on the 10th March, still haven't received it.
Constantly asking where my item is and getting told lies. Apparently the item has been shipped from Poland hence the long delivery time. It has now been with Evri for 2 days so I'm not holding my breath that I will ever receive it 😡

I've shopped with these for a while for my cat's specialist prescription food, but was extremely pleasantly surprised today when only 15 mins after enquiring whether my discount code had been applied (very probably my fault that it wasn't tbh), they got in touch to say no it hadn't, but they'd refunded me immediately for the difference! That has to be amongt the best customer service I've ever had, especially in recent years when the industry seems to have been going downhill, and now I don't have to chase up or do anything further. The staff member's name who responded was Kate!

I emailed Zooplus after receiving redirected post from them for my mother, who recently passed away suddenly. I advised Zooplus that she had passed away, provided her address and asked them to stop sending mailers and close her account. They replied and asked me to provide her address. I pointed out that I had already done so, but provided it again. They then emailed me and said they need me to also provide further details, from a list including contents of an order placed, an invoice number, my customer ID (despite the fact I am clearly NOT personally their customer) or said I can contact them using the registered email address, i.e. my late mother's email address. I do not have access to her email and I do not have access to any of these other details, but it's very clear that they have not taken the time to properly understand my request.
Having the painful task of being my mother's executor means I have had to close far more important accounts from a security perspective and ALL of them were far simpler to close than this. They were all considerate and expressed their condolences. Imagine a pet supplies online store being the one that makes life unnecessarily difficult!!
I don't need this hassle at what is already a very painful time for me.
EDIT: finally, since posting this and after multiple emails, they have realised what I'm asking however they apparently require the death certificate. My mum's gas, electric, water, phone, etc, accounts didn't ask me for the death certificate yet an online store does? Seriously? Given the mess they made of responding to me, I'm very reluctant to share that level of personal information with them. There is absolutely no risk to a customer if their account is closed, they can see mum has no live orders, I won't get access to anything. Just close it already.
EDIT 2: I have just received an email from Zooplus chasing me for the death certificate they asked for 2 days ago. I have spent the weekend trying to sort out my mother's house and belongings, I haven't had time or emotional capacity to even think about sending them the certificate. Who chases someone for a death certificate after just 2 days?????
