I have member for ZML for more than 1 year , i have download & top up my account . My question when have problem with the website answer by two day all solved . I wait ZML.COM online again with legal download system . No other charges with my credit card other than charges for movie that i download from that site .

They've dupped most of america into paying money for commercialized tv & censored, cut-up & incomplete movies (remember why we originally had tv commercials?...It was FREE). Now there is a BIG PUSH (down our throats) for streaming movies because the thought of you watching a movie on your own time with no commercials sends shivers down their spines & right into their FAT wallets...I will miss ZML & they DID have $ 0.99 (new) movies pre-view-able because the quality was sub-standard...So you had a choice! Amazon.com movies REQUIRE their (very unstable & restrictive) media player. Forget Block Buster (same requirements) & the 1st movie I purchased from them (3 x the price of zml) didn't even download the entire movie which I didn't know until I was watching it. Netflix was fair (gave my money back) but uses the same "tricks" as almost ALL movie sites...Movie search results that are FALSE & after you've payed & registered you go to purchase / rent that movie & it's UNAVAILABLE

Fulfill with contract condition and its cinematheque is acceptab

I've been a member for sometime now and have downloaded quite a few movies. Never anticipated that there was something shady going on. Moreover the quality of movies downloaded were excellent and I didn't have any reason suspect the legality of it all. Now that they have been shut down, I wonder what happens to the money which is in credit with them from my credit card. How do I get it back? Do I need to reqeust my credit card company not to honour future charges from zml.com?

I just clicked on their websit and it looks like they were busted!!! They charged my card even after I had cancelled it and I was never ever able to download anything! Luckliy their charge was declined! I just hope that it doesn't try to charge it again. I'm hoping since they were busted they won't be able to do anything with it. I kinda think I should cancel my card? What jerks!

I found ZML about 2 years ago and it was like a treasure to me! I have Panasonic HD projector and love movies in HD - I guess I downloaded more than 350 movies in great quality just for 40$ per month. /no problems for 2 years - great service.

I have used zml.com now for over 1 year! i never heard about any 0.99 cent startfee or whatever! You prepay a sum that you choose that fills up to your account, and when it is emty you fill it up again. no mounthly charge, no monthly memberchip fee.. and they always answear your e-mail after about 2 days and have great customerservice..

I know these guys were just selling copies illegally but the site worked well even itr was a bit slow. I only bought a little from them because I prefer to buy legitimate stuff. I guess you would expect the American officials to shut them down because they presumably suck just like everything else in America.

From the makers of mp3spy.ru comes zml. Biggest scam - they surcharge you each month even if you cancel, unless you report them to your credit bureau. God finally intervened and got them shut down!

What a wonderful site, great customer service and a huge database.

It's really strange to see all the negative comments here... I know some people say that all positive ones are false, but believe me, I've also been using this site for about 2 years and never had problems with them... Well, may be it's not entirely true... I always pre-paid (not signed up for a monthly membership so can't comment on that) and everything was fine. Customer services was alright, they usually came back within day or two and normally solved the problem... Altough their download speed was not very good, and quite often recently. And another thing that a bit disappointed me is that they started offering low quality movies like 6 moths ago or so...
But the price for dvd quality movie of $2.99 i ok I think.

But also reading recent comments I understand they might have have some problems... have they been closed down?

I was in a car accident last year, and on bed rest for quite awhile. Finding zml was a lifesaver. I was going crazy stuck at home. I pay $39.00 per month, but it's been well worth it, and I would never go to a "free" site anyway. I would have given 5 stars, except I was charged for a month once, when I hadn't planned on using it that month. Turned out I used it anyway, and it's a great value. The movie selection is outstanding, and the quality (I've neved downloaded a LQ film) is awesome. Totally clear, no skipping, so freezing, no buffering. Some of the movies were versions that had scenes that weren't edited out, so I saw new parts, which was cool. I had trouble right at first, but followed the trouble shooting instructions, downlaoded Flashget, and I never had another problem. My friends love it too. Anyone who is confused by either the downloading process, or payment, just isn't taking time to read. I'd been using the site daily for over a year, and have built up quite a film library of great, hard to find old stuff, as well as newer releases. Sorry to see it gone :(

I have been using ZML for almost 2 years.
I am able to put a fixed amount in my account - they add a 10.00 which is great.
They answer my emails. ! They refund my account if I can't download a movie and my account was charged.
Why not a 5: LQ movies - I wouldn't mind paying more for good quality.

I hope they keep going ! I like this type of arrangement.

Look, if you go to a ZML site that asks for your credit card info, is offering a monthly subscription or offers a free trial then run from that site because that is not the ZML that is getting all the five stars, that is the site that is getting ALL the 1 stars. the ZML that I am giving a five star to: you put from 20.00 to 40.00(and ZML puts 10 or 30) into your account, and then you buy movies and pay from 1.99(for IPod) to 4.99(for high def) then you download the movie. When ever you need to you add money into your account, if that takes one week or one year. and ZML will never charge you a monthly fee. So if that is not what you see when you go the ZML site then do not spend money at that site because that is NOT the right ZML site.

been a zml user for a quite a while now. My only grievance is that it takes a while before good copies pops out. customer service was a breeze... they answer every email I've sent and refunded my money when i was automatically got charged in another site. I have already recommended it to my friends and we all use it now!

Like many other reviewers here I was charged 39.90 Euros right after signing up to the free trial and then 52 euros without being notified. My e-mails to cancel have gone unanswred, not only that when I go to my "History of Payments page to try and cancel there It says that my next rebilling date is May 01/2010 uh hello, this is now June 19th for cryin out loud!
I have checked my CC statements for May and June and there are no charges for either month to this company, yet my account remains active and I am unable to cancel or reach customer support. Fearing I may be charged for 2 or 3 months at once when these morons wake up I guess I will have to cancel my credit card. beware 9 out of 10 reviewers can't be wrong !!

I don't know anything about the site in general, but I do know that they hacked my friend's facebook account and spammed everyone one of his facebook friends (including me) with a message of "Waht are you donig on tihs viedo?" The spelling enough is enough to make you cringe. Then there was a link that took you directly to this ZML site. If they were a reputable business, I don't think they'd be hacking facebook accounts for advertising.

Seriously f*ck this website. The 1 day trial didn't even allow me to download anything and I ended up getting charged 39.90€ which is more or less $50.
Also i sent like 5+ emails for them to delete my account and no a single reply. To make it all worse, when I try to unsubscribe the page they send you to never loads up. So try to avoid this site at all costs.
