Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 31 reviews, most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many people complained extensively about poor product quality, pointing out issues like unusual tastes and strange smells. Consumers also expressed deep frustration with the loyalty reward scheme, finding the token system completely unappealing, low value, and difficult to redeem for anything worthwhile. Buyers consistently mentioned annoying packaging problems, such as awkward pot shapes, leaking containers that spill everywhere, and sharp plastics. Some reviewers were happy with certain items, noting that specific yoghurts, ice cream, and granola tasted lovely and remained a regular purchase for their daily routine.

Good idea saving plastic

Good idea saving plastic, pathetic implementation not having stock of reusable lids, Equally not stock to be found of larger pots! I can help Yeo save even more on packaging, I'll buy a different brand.

Please can you bring back lids

Please can you bring back lids. As several others have said cardboard ones would be fine. Love your products but now switching to other makes with lids in similar size as yoghurt spills during transport & fridge condensation causes it to become watery thus spoils more quickly.

No Lids impractical

I have just bought Yeo Valley yoghurt without the lid, and walked home from the supermarket with my shopping. Yeo valley yoghurt was leaking, and all over my shopping, it would not have happened if Yeo Valley still sold their yoghurt with lids.

Not sure Yeo Valley has thought this through, if they are so keen on ditching the plastic lids, they need to give customers a cardboard lid.

I definitely do not want to take a used plastic lid to bring my yoghurt home, with all the risk of spreading germs and what else.

Yogurt lids not available

Removing the outer plastic lid is fine, providing a replacement reusable lid is provided. I visited Yeovalley website as directed on the Yogurt carton, to establish reusable replacement lids are not available. I’ll be taking my custom elsewhere I’m afraid.

450g?????

I like the yogurt, epecially the kerned yogurt - and until I find an equivalent organic alternative will continue to buy it.
However I have noticed the pot size has reduced from 500g to 450g. Marketeers obviously hoping their customers are too stupid to notice they are getting less for their money! You'd hope that companies pretending to be ethical wouldn't stoop to such tactics. It maskes me more determined to find an alternative in 500g pots!
Additionally the token collecting is a joke and more like a punishment for consistently buying their yogurt.

Kerned yoghurt is wonderful

Kerned yoghurt is wonderful. Thick, rich and loved by my toddler grandchildren. It does not drip off the spoon or even separate in a sauce.
Why oh why have you discontinued it?
Please restore my favourite product.

Overly runny Kefir yogurt

Tried Yeo Valleys Kefir yogurt for the first time. Its so runny I thought it would have been just the same if not cheaper to buy a bottle of Kefir drink. Tastes fine but really needs a bit more substance to it.

Good products

Good products, reasonable prices. The rewards for storing codes are a little unusual and not really to my taste but I'm sure some people love them.

Bought twice and thought the first pot…

Bought twice and thought the first pot was just a blip in the product. The second pot was just as bad as the first. Poor quality, tasteless and very runny. Will stop buying this now. Such a shame use to be lovely and always enjoyed this product.

Oh dear

Oh dear, what has happened to my favourite yogurt. I used to love the creamy thick lemon yogurt but today's experience left me completely underwhelmed, so much so I threw my whole breakfast away. I hate thin runny yogurt, and unfortunately this is what has happened to Yeo. I will never buy this again.

Great tasting yoghurts

We love Yeo Valley products in our household. The Little Yeo yoghurts are perfect for my children, great taste and I love the fact they contain no refined sugar. We collect the Yeokens and have so far claimed a free tote bag. My children love having a go on the Dairy go round too (we haven't won anything.....yet!)
Please don't ever stop making the Little Yeo no refined sugar yoghurts....I say the children love them....but my husband and I are very fond too!

How does this rubbish get even three stars.

How does this rubbish get even three stars. My wife purchase a slab of Little Yeos organic yogurts for my grand daughter - she had one spoon full and promptly spat it out. I tried it and don't blame her. Watery and with a peculiar taste. It was in date and stored correctly. Utter garbage.

Awful customer treatment

Agree with the other comments about the token scheme being poor but the customer service is also poor which makes this worse. Products ok. Token scheme: The only thing they gave free is a plastic bag. This used to 'cost' 150 tokens and now it's doubled to 300 so you have to spend at least £30 to get this. Even then the bag it's limited to only x1 per customer.
I purchased a premium product costing £2.50 and after contacting the customer service they weren't willing to give me the token value because they claimed the product didn't qualify. They also refused to add tokens from another code I had claiming it had already been used which it had not been used. Terrible gratitude to customers.
Treat customers so stingily for the sake of a few tokens.
Needless to say I won't be purchasing or bothering again with their overpriced products.

Lovely company.

Amazing company.
Love love love this company. They are very transparent about their production processes and have great values around sustainability. The taste and quality of their products is always very very good, and very much worth the cost. Excellent and very kind customer service- they even sent me vouchers and a postcard when i enquired about a product i wasnt happy with. RE the reviews about the reward program- i collect yeo tokens and honestly its just a bit of fun. Ive had some great products from my yeo tokens- subscriptions to a fitness app in lockdown, discounts on produce, and if you dont like any of that, donate them to charity! Overall, great company run by great people.
