The product is okay, but I sent a message to support and no one answered
Absolutely horrible service and customer service. Supposed to be easy for beginners and not even close. Sends set up info a low quality email instead of something that helps you along. Now that i'm not using the hosting service I have to wait 60 days to have my domain transferred back to me...and now it's not pointing to my site.
I've been using x10premium for over 4 years, running a modest personal website, and a few "addon domains" off the same single hosting account. Uptime has been great, their automatic backup system has saved me COUNTLESS times, and their support has been incredibly helpful when I've needed it. Getting such solid and affordable hosting makes it sometimes feel like I might be cheating the system or something.
I expect to be staying with x10premium for as long as they exist!
Terrible customer service and hosting.
When I was having issues it took them days to respond and then they responded by telling me that “they couldn’t reproduce the error” even though I gave them the error logs and screenshots.
Not to mention this host is missing basic security features, this host is terrible don’t buy.
Server is slow to respond, my wordpress sites lag, despite all optimization and CDN, google Pagespeed says slow server response time. Can never qualify for Google AMP for same reason.
Unlimited Disk Usage with Limited files, so not unlimited.
They say free domain etc but always forget to give the freebies, they wont renew the free domain during your subscription.
They warn before suspending on thier helpdesk ticket which wont come to your email, hence you will not come to know of warnings and your account will be suspended suddenly .
They have r1soft backups which they might turn off at thier will and you might not have any backups of your data.
Despite unlimited disk space file hosting is strictly not allowed.
I've had a free site now for several years and over the last 9 months or so been sending data to it every 5 minutes for an open source project I'm working on. I have not detected any connection issues during this time. The tools available for free are perfect for me. The monthly reminder to log into the cPanel is a bit pain because there appears to be some delay tack ticks going off to slow the process down which I assume is designed to make you consider upgrading and does ensure that people with free sites are still active and want to continue to use the service. Now I needed a couple of premium sites to be set up so I've gone for the paid version, again I'm more than happy with the tools available. I think that the balance is right between whats offered free and what is offered for the paid service therefore I give 4 stars. It would have been 5 stars but I think they have the delay tack ticks are wrong for logging into the free sites, why? because when I was deciding to open two paid accounts I was concerned that maybe I would experience the same slow log in process as my free account and honestly almost pushed me to another provider! I'm glad it didn't because now I don't have to learn a whole new system / way of doing things. Kev
I'm using x10premium for almost 3 years now, and so far I'm very happy with their service and customer support.
They help you fairly quickly when you have a problem with your site, database or something similar.
Also, you get good stats and computing power for your buck.
Though recently my dad opened an account on 10hosting to try out this hosting for his website and I have to say that the customer support for the free part of the hosting is far from acceptable.
They are not showing any flexibility whatsoever.
Since he moved to a different country after creating his account, he is not at all able to access his account anymore.
He will have to rebuild his site or upgrade to the premium service in order to access his own website.
TL;DR:
Premium service is great. Free service is not at all useable if you are planning on moving or using it abroad/while on vacation.
If the free becomes as good as the premium one, I will raise this review to 5 stars and can clearly say it's the best hosting ever.
